It was delicious. I had a cup of the guava sorbetto. It was most refreshing flavor, and a very good choice, plus we tried the brownies. Wow. They were big and chewy so we shared. This shop has the best homemade and vegan ice cream. Here you will not get a $2 kid's cone. But what you get will be unforgettable, and you hopefully will come back. My husband is known to bring his colleagues here after dinner out. The zillion flavors are on the wall, and there are daily specials. Try this. A lot of the flavors weren't clear to me like what a pirate's booty or tin roof sundae would be. I ended up getting the Mississippi mud pie sundae because I was taking too long and know nothing can go wrong with that. They gave me a large portion of whipped cream - the most I've seen in my life, and there was a good amount of chocolate syrup. I noticed all the sundaes and hurricanes in my group had vanilla, but I wonder if I could have had a different flavor instead of vanilla, which isn't clear on the menu without asking. I was so surprised that I had to try one. The jar I chose had a vanilla cake with two layers of orange icing. Opening the cute jar, the top layer of sweet icing was hard to break through to the cake. I would eliminate that layer, and go straight for the cake. The cake had an interesting texture, and the second layer of icing was good. Eating this was just enough. Novelty concept. Cake in a Jar would be good for an outdoor party, or special occasion.
