I was worried they wouldn't sell individual portions so I bought one at heinman's before coming and that gut instinct was correct bc I did not see any other than the large normal cake sizes in the fridge behind the counter. They did have quite few other baked goods in individual sizes which felt like a sign that we needed to try them. They have MASSIVE cookies in really slutty flavors but we still have leftovers from losing our sanity ordering from insomnia cookies the other night so we went in a different direction. I can never pass up an apple turnover which was flaky heaven. GF ordered a cinnamon twist which had such a delicate cakey texture. Finally, we got a baklava which we both feel was quite possibly the best we've ever had.

We ate half and I brought the other half home and ate it just about every day that week till I finished it. It was calling my name. It was so good. Thank you, Burruss you don't disappoint. The cake was probably the only thing my wife and I were really picky about for our special day. We wanted unique flavors, a light buttercream frosting that would not be too heavy since we also served ice cream and an elegant design; all in a reasonable budget. Kathy delivered on all fronts with a beautiful four tier cake in two flavors. We chose a white cake with strawberry balsamic buttercream filling and lemon curd filling, it was delicious, moist, sweet and tart. Our other flavor was a take on Buckeye flavor: chocolate cake with ganache filling along a with peanut butter-buttercream filling, decadent and a real hit here in Ohio. Kathy made the whole cake experience unforgettable with a tasting right at her dining room table and a handmade sketch of our cake to go along with our design decisions. It was delivered on time to our venue and finishing decorations were placed on site. It was gorgeous. And all this for less than $4 a serving + a $35 delivery charge. Kathy is amazing and we can't thank her enough.

Beyond expectation. This is one of those special graces that you feel like only you know about…read more In 2021, Veronica and I started planning our May 2022 wedding. When it came time to try the cakes, we selected around 5 top rated cake places to try in the area. Frosted Cake Art was one of them. Mind you, before I review the cakes, know that Seema (Frosted Cake Art) is a home based business going up against long standing bakers, and the wedding venue itself which has over a dozen fine dining restaurants. We cannot complain about the other venues we sampled, however Seema's cakes were an obvious cut above the rest. "The Cake Tasting" itself was a beautiful experience, trying several frostings, cake types, and many fillings. Elegant and organized "The cakes" are consistently moist while still keeping their interior structure. We like to headline that point. Rare "The frostings" are ALL good. no alkaline taste, no granules, no empty taste, not hard like cold butter, nor are they too light and whippy. Smoothest texture you have ever experienced. Rare "The fillings" are exceptional. We wanted to use everyone of them. Even the more dramatic flavors we considered, although we didn't come in to the tasting thinking we would. All-in-all, for a small 75 person wedding, we decided to go with a multi flavored, 5 layer behemoth of a cake because we just wanted everyone to experience greatness. Greatness, folks Seema is a true professional. Seamless Seema. Aside from being a good baker, she has an excellent format of execution that sees the job through from beginning to end. She is patient and literally listens and applies all the details. She uses digital and actual templates throughout the process, willing to change and offer advice. Some fancy decorations we used....One was a "floating" top layer, giving a great effect. Another was a false cake layer where there was a statue of the bride and groom in a tunnel. She molded the bride and groom to spec. Seema used a picture of us both, plus a picture of the wedding dress. It was spot on and we plan on preserving this for life. God bless you, Seema. Thank you for an unforgettable experience Rick and Veronica Married May 28, 2022

My expectations were exceeded to say the least, and my friend LOVED it! Not only was the cake gorgeous, but it tasted fantastic as well. I did not serve it until 3 days after picking it up and it tasted like it was freshly made that day. The cake was not dry whatsoever, frosting was still soft and not hardened. I would 10000% order from here again.

I'm so sad to see so many people had such a disappointing experience at Cakes by Nadine! I knew as…read moresoon as I tasted one of her cakes at my cousins birthday party that Nadine would absolutely need to make my future wedding cake!! Fast forward a few years and sure enough, Nadine constructed the most beautiful and mouth watering cake for my wedding! I scheduled to meet with Nadine one Saturday (she gives free samples on Saturdays!) without the slightest idea what I wanted my wedding cake to look like. She was so patient with me and she worked through it, really paying attention to every word I said and got so creative. She drew up a sketch of what she gathered that I wanted. When I saw my cake on our wedding day I was speechless. It was more beautiful and perfect than I could have EVER imagined!!! Nadine is extremely talented, and it's very obvious she loves what she does. She is expensive, yes, but she only makes a few wedding cakes every weekend so they are high quality. I couldn't imagine having a better experience or having a more beautiful wedding cake. Thank you, Nadine!!!

We went to go eat our top layer last week because we are moving and could not keep it frozen any longer. When we went to eat the cake we realized the filling was not what we asked for. Scraped it off the cake to confirm and taste it by itself. I called and told them about the issue today and told them how highly disappointed we were. They told us that In their records we received the correct filling but there is absolutely no flavor to it once so ever and they didn't offer any kind of small refund or to make us some kind of small replacement or anything didnt seen to even care that I was clearly upset over the matter. Extremely sad we won't get to enjoy our top layer of our cake because it is extremely plain.. but glad I didn't wait a year to find this out on our special 1 year wedding anniversary or I would have been about 1000 times more upset... I got this cake because my mom had her wedding cake from here and I loved it so I am sad to say the quality has significantly decreased in the last couple years..
