Google says they are open until 6pm on Saturday's and I walked up at 3:55 and the doors where locked. An employee walked out while I was in my vehicle and I mentioned what Google says and was told they close at 4 and they don't control Google which I know you do because I have a Google page myself and can input open and closing hours. She had no care at all about my concerns and if they close at 4 the doors shouldn't be locked at 3:55

Terrific selection and reasonable prices. They know their stock. If you bake dessert, they probably have what you need!

Nice, small, family-owned bakery. They make alot of their items with nuts, which I believe is a…read morevery Eastern European tradition. I came to try a pizza bagel which I learned they recently stopped serving because the health inspector said they needed to be in a cooler, which this place does not have. In the brief time that I was there, several people came in for these also and were disappointed to hear the news. I ended up getting a cinnamon roll, nut roll, and brownie. The cinnamon roll was delish. I gave the other two to friends and they enjoyed them. Service was okay. The woman was slightly impatient as I asked questions. She answered them, but seemed a little annoyed. I just wasn't as familiar with the items because it seemed like there were all variations of the same things maybe with different nuts. Their shelves weren't super full by the time I got there and I am curious to try other items from them. I see that they sell cookies and pastries at a local grocery store chain, Marc's. Also appreciated that they took tap to pay, which is uncommon in such an old school place. Just gotta spend over $5.

Who doesn't love and old school Eastern European bakery. I know this guy does for sure. I walked…read morein and the smell smacked me right across my nose. Holy cow was it delicious smelling. They had so many options to choose from and I didn't know what to get. And when I don't know what to get. I buy many things. Delicious is the word of the day. Because everything I bought was delicious. You won't be disappointed. The owner of the establishment was very very friendly.

Hole in the wall bakery with street parking. Lots of Italian cookies. Snickerdoodle wasn't dry…read moreentirely but was pretty darn tough like it was made days ago. Not too flavorful either. Macaroon type mini cookies were incredibly hard to chew and had a very strange not coconut macaroon traditional type flavor and were inedible. Cruller was not dry or rubbery but otherwise unremarkable. Blueberry cake donut was moist but the blueberry flavor was artificial and strange. Sour cream donut was actually moist and had the right flavor. The cronut wasn't bad at all! Flaky without any off flavors. Chocolate cake donut wasn't bad tasting thank god but was sadly dry. They're very affordable here. It's just super duper hit or miss as far as what you get.

There was a cute sign that says "down home bakery" which made me feel so cozy and warm. The majority of the pastries are $1.75 each, which obviously feels like a steal this day and age. I tried a glazed croissant and some type of turnover. The croissant was delicious. Soft, flaky, and sweet, I also got one of their popular pizza bagels. It's kind of a loose term "bagel" more like a round ball of bread, with marinara sauce and cheese on top. It was very tasty and fulfilled a savory tooth in the morning. There was one sweet woman working the counter and I think there is another baker. Of course the place could use some upgrades, but it's always nice to step inside a great spot that's been in the neighborhood for a long time and is still standing because they offer a great product.
