The technicians were fabulous and helpful. On time, and they explained everything to me as they went. The folks on the phone were great as well. I assumed it would be a simple task to schedule the inspection, get the tags, and be on our way to no backflowing water in our system. The phone call went well until we started talking about scheduling. - They were not able to commit to a date on the phone. We scheduled a tentative date and time and had to wait for someone else to confirm with me. This makes it difficult to plan water shut down for your business. They need at least 15 minutes with your water off. If your valve does not pass you can add an unknown amount of time on. So naturally, I asked about weekends and the day that we are closed, Fridays. No can do the woman said. They don't work on Fridays or weekends. Splendid. - They require your credit card information up front, a week ahead. Again, this felt like a red flag but since I was running out of time to comply, I went ahead. I assume many businesses have stiffed them on the bills. Shocking.....but I suppose it does happen. - Someone was supposed to confirm our appointment the day before. Nothing. So I got up early to be at the office on good faith. - The two gentlemen that showed up to do the work were fantastic. They were on time, knew their trade, and were polite. Of course one of our brand new valves did not pass their test. So they told me it would be an additional $120 or so to clean out the valve. I had no choice. Either fail the verification or pay the ransom. So we paid. The three stars are for the two guys that showed up at 7:30am to verify my new valves and get it done with literally one minute to business open. The minus two stars are for the poor communication by the main office and the difficult scheduling. Probably won't use them again next year. But we'll see who is on the list.

This time, the water from the upstairs bathtub-jacuzzi leaked to the garage's wall downstairs. This happened when the kids were taking a bath. We suspected it's due to overflowing to the certain limit. (The water did not overflow the bath boundary). NOTE: The bathtub is not used on a regular basis, but only when our grandchildren are visiting and staying. We called Aaron's Plumbing & Rooter and scheduled a diagnostic appointment. We were afraid it would be a major repair. Aaron came on the next day, examined the bathtub and explained what might have happened. He looks very professional, calm and clearly explain the possible options and solutions. He examined the overflow cover on the bathtub. He cleaned and sealed it, asking us to wait for 24 hours before testing. He also explained us the possibility of another solution if this one did not work. The 2nd solution was much more complex and expensive and we were hoping that the 1st solution would work. We followed his suggestion and tested the leak in 2 days. It was the success. We are very happy with the outcome and definitely recommend this company to anyone.

From scheduling with Angela with ease on the phone and having the option of using an App for communication, to Tim's arrival for the appointment, everything was above my expectation. Tim gave clear explanation of plumbing issues and provided solutions. Never did he try to upsell. He gave me a very reasonable quote which I agreed and started working right away on a Sunday. The following were completed: 1. Navien descaling 2. Replace pre-filter to house 3. Unclog bathroom sink drain Tim is to return to complete the following: 1. Kitchen RO filters replacement after i receive parts I ordered 2. Hot and cold water mixing issue - to be determine what is causing it. I am extremely satisfied with the service provided, how Tim and Angela communicated with me. Tim was organized, respected property, fixed plumbing issues correctly, not quick fixes, and left areas where he worked the way he found it. It is very difficult to find someone who has old school values with skills to fix things around the house nowadays. Most companies wants to only take on big jobs with the greatest profits and forget smaller jobs almost always leads to bigger jobs when they are done correctly. I will definitely hire Tim again for plumbing issues for my home as well as my rental property. Thank you.

Most recently, Mark handled a garbage disposal leak and a kitchen faucet leak for us. Mark is incredibly knowledgeable and performs a very thorough inspection before starting any work. The repairs and replacements were flawless. Scheduling is always easy, and Mark is punctual with great communication throughout the process. Highly recommended!

Before the appointment, my husband explained the issue in detail and sent photos of the make and model of the unit. When Mark arrived, he looked at the unit and said he needed to contact the manufacturer and would follow up on Monday. We never received that follow-up. There were no missed calls, no voicemail, and no text message. My husband does not block unknown numbers and must answer all calls for work, so there is no record of any attempt to contact us. During this time, we were also dealing with our son unexpectedly needing surgery, which delayed us from calling back sooner. Prior to MG Plumbing's visit, we had already contacted PG&E when we first noticed the gas smell. PG&E did not detect a gas leak, even while running hot water to try to reproduce the issue. Out of caution, we have been turning the gas off when the unit is not in use. The smell appears to occur only when hot water is used in our children's bathroom. When we finally followed up later in the week, we were informed that Mark is not certified to work on Rinnai units, which prevented him from getting information from the manufacturer. Given the safety concern involved, this should have been clearly communicated sooner. Due to the lack of follow-up and communication, we had to start over with a certified plumber. I hope this review remains visible so others can make an informed decision.
