James Sharrock sent the installers back out to put caulking in the gaps - pictures attached. It looked even worse. I talked to another contractor, and he said that it is common to put the caulking, but they sand it afterwards and clean it up. Floor Traders is not willing to fix it and make it right. I emailed the owner, Warren Sharrock, with no response. I've left phone messages and they are ghosting me. I will not recommend them to anyone. Well, they emailed me and said that I need to hire a finishing contractor to solve my issue. August 11, 2026 Well, they emailed me and said that I need to hire a finishing contractor to replace or modify existing door casings/jambs to solve my issue. They said that they put the caulking at my request (which is true). However, they shouldn't have put the caulking, if they knew that it would look like my pictures. They are supposed to be the professionals - not me.

I then called her at the beginning of March she let me know there had been a medical emergency in Febuary and that Doug would come on March 8th to measure for a bid. Unfortunatel, Doug was a no-show/call but called me the next day to let me know he would work me into his schedule. Today the 28th I called and was told maybe Doug could fit me in for a bid in April. My insurance company has been slow moving and this is why I was not too concerned about the time. However, over a month for a bid when you no-showed seems a bit much.

They didn't set up a partition, so they used a leveling concrete material, and grinding it down getting all that dust on all our furniture, Abbey had to pay to get it cleaned. Then instead of removing the old linoleum in the kitchen they went over the top of it all and on the two large sides, the planks started to lift, so they had to come back and remove baseboards removed planks and cut back the linoleum to where it wasn't lifting, instead removing all of it, now I'm having problems in other areas in the kitchen. This same company painted my cabinets and didn't prep, sand or clean the doors so immediately you could see the corners where dust was painted over, they didn't mask anything, my stove top and fridge were a mess, they vented out through a side screen and got over spray all on that screen, then later on trimming my bushes out in the front yard I found where they dumped the excess paint. So if you get a guy names richard or his son Richard jr. Out to install anything, unless they found Jesus and turned from their wicked work, then don't let them in, you'll be sorry. Their countertop person was the only one I seen that cared about and did high quality work. Just please screen their contractors if you see something not right or you get a check or red flag, don't ignore it, it's your right to request another installer, or cancel order. You don't wanna be sorry.
