This is a long overdue review. The owner Dave, and the rest of the Ultimate Flooring team is…read morespectacular. From the minute you enter the showroom, and until you leave, you treated amazingly. I have used them two years ago for my main living flooring, and recently for my boudoir which had been upended by a leak. With COVID affecting us all, they upheld all CDC guidelines; even when entering my home, and at my request to wear booties, they were very obliged. Now, my bedroom is quite large, so with the main portion, closet, and hallway, the guys were in and out in an hour. This included, preparing, laying the carpet, vacuuming, and packing up; mind you, the room was already free of furniture and flooring, but still fast, meticulous, neat, and awesome. Thank you again Ultimate Flooring, I am soooo happy with my floors. I just one room to go

First and foremost, we would like to thank DJ Floors for their commitment to outstanding work of…read morethe highest quality, service and price. Successful communication of the flooring process began with consultations, an invitation to visit the showroom and the selection of the perfect flooring materials. DJ Floors' entire team is respectful, patient and extremely knowledgeable. It has been gratifying to watch the process unfold in an efficient and timely manner with the highest quality craftsmanship. The flooring in our home has been completely and beautifully transformed. The job began in our single family home, lower basement level. The 25 year old carpet was removed and replaced by DJ Floors' installation of brand new luxury vinyl flooring and matching molding. The basement is comprised of a large main room, back room and full bath. Our new vinyl flooring covers all three areas, runs vertically, looks exquisite and has been perfectly installed from start to finish. Our basement has been completely transformed! Next, brand new hardwood steps were installed, leading to the lower basement level, which are stained to match the downstairs flooring and look amazing. We decided to replace the carpeting in our living room and dining room with hardwood floors to match our existing hardwood foyer, hall and kitchen. The original wood floors were sanded and refinished to the stain matching and finishing of our choice, five years prior by DJ Floors; so we are repeat customers. Finally, we had the carpeting on the steps leading upstairs and upper foyer landing replaced with hardwood. Our job had its complexities as the existing wood had to be feathered into the new wood to look seamless. DJ Floors' managers, installers, finishers and stainers were respectful, professional, courteous and outstanding in craftsmanship and flooring execution--while adhering to client specifications. DJ Floors delivered a product which exceeded our highest expectations in quality and service. We highly recommend DJ Floors for your next project!

They came out quickly to inspect my roof and provided a fair, detailed estimate. Once I gave the go-ahead, their team scheduled the job promptly and had everything completed in a very timely manner. The quality of their work really stands out, and it's such a relief knowing my home is protected and looks great. It's hard to find companies these days that do what they say they'll do, but they absolutely delivered. I highly recommend them to anyone. I agree with the other 3 star review person. None of the workers doing the construction work for Dfine. In fact one of them told us no habla ingles, indicating he only spoke Spanish. Highly suggest you find any other firm to do the actual construction. I've never had an issue with Brothers Services or Tim Kyle Electric. If you want the job done right you need a firm that has employees who are vested in the project results and speak English. Dfine's use of contractors that don't work for Dfine is a mistake from the outset. We had delays and eventually had to negotiate a final payment since not all work contracted for was completed or some services were overpriced after checking with other firms. And some work for which I requested a quote so I could check with another firm was simply done without providing a quote for which I had to pay extra for. And Ahmet, while an owner, was never a project manager. In fact there was no project manager watching over daily work. Allied Remodeling at least offers that, where one of the owners reviews the daily work and any communications. I did eventually outsource some of the work to trusted firms like Tim Kyle and Anderson Windows. Did I pay more? Yes. Did I get the work that I expected? Yes. If Dfine somehow convinces you to go with their work crew, insist that David is the primary person who deals with the work. Still not a project manager, but a cut above the rest of what they have to offer. Anyone else is a joke. The design work done by Dfine was thoughtful. The construction could have been much better. And a word about what you think you want. Marble on any part of the remodel looks great. It is however cold as hell to the touch. In the kitchen during winter the counter tops are always cold. And try backing into a cold wall in the shower. It can be shocking. You may want to consider alternatives. There are plenty of firms that can get work done in a day without using marble. My upgrade from the 1960s was better than it was. Not perfect.
