Have for the reason of going to Miami is to go to this restaurant and then go in there over 20 years and every time it's been immaculate the vibe the atmosphere is always perfect and the service is always on point. The food is always cooked perfectly. Staff is very nice and very attentive is nothing. I can say bad about this restaurant at all other than it's not one in Scottsdale! LOL Food 5/5 Location 5/5 Service 5/5 Staff 5/5 Parking 5/5 Atmosphere 5/5 Return Factor 5/5

We came here for dinner and sat at the bar. Super cute little spot in a shopping plaza! I got a lychee martini (highly recommend) and the Linguine Vongole with white sauce. The portion was generous and there were plenty of clams. Definitely recommend if you're in the area and in the mood for Italian!

Been eating here for over 20 years and just gets better all the time.

Carpaccio's has a wide selection of spirits and wines and beers. Large selection of Foods, Salads and Soups. The service is Outstanding and the Atmosphere is so very inviting. I always return to Carpaccio's.

On the whole, the place was meh. The place has a great buzz about it as it seems to be popular with the old-school Bal Harbor crowd. The place seems very dated. We went for lunch and it was slammed. Our server was great and took good care of us. The waiter and bussers were attentive in filling water and clearing plates, etc. We never felt ignored or neglected. The meh part was the food. Everything we got was good, but wow, everything was expensive. Very expensive for middle-of-the-road Italian food. My margherita pizza was almost $30. The pasta dishes were $30+. I don't see what the big deal is to pay so much for average food.

Late night meal. Packed house. Classy vibes. Felt like a mix of locals and tourists. Love the menu - Italian, seafood, long wine list with choices at every price point. As busy as it was, seated right away. Ordered right away. Served right away too. They split a seafood platter for us with lobster, linguini, clams, shrimp and mussels covered just right in a vodka sauce. Loved it and can't wait to go back.

Very subpar food for such a bustling business. I've been to the Bal Harbor shops many times and always see this place packed so I had to try it, but the food was a total disappointment! The most bland Spaghetti Bolognese I've ever had, which hardly contained any beef in the sauce. The tiramisu was also very basic and not the mind blowing tiramisu I read about in other reviews. Service was friendly and professional. We were seated next to a table of screaming young girls celebrating a birthday, which gave me a huge headache and totally detracted from the experience. You would think a restaurant like this in one of the fanciest malls could renovate their bathroom so it doesn't look like a hobbit's house, which ironically you have to trek up steep steps to get to. They do not take reservations, which is a no-no in my book. Overall, no value for the money and I would skip this place.

Very overpriced for decent food. I'd choose another option if dining in the mall. The service is a bit spotty.

On a Wednesday around noon I sat at the bar alone. I was immediately greeted by a host when I arrived and the bartender. The bartender was nice and briefly took my order. The salad came out 5 minutes later and was pretty good. I had a small desire for more dressing, but didn't act on it. The bread is good and warm, but I would expect better butter. I will likely return.

The staff here is exceptional, very attentive. The atmosphere is positive, kind and happy. There's an outdoor seating area if you're in the mood, but we opted to sit inside because it was very cold for me outside. As soon as you sit down you're greeted with a smile. Meanwhile, they offer still or sparkling water and warm bread, while they take your drink orders. The bread was soft, warm and gooey. Already warming me up. We both ordered Coke Zeros to drink. We ordered the following appetizers & entrées: Fritto di calamari e zucchini. Calamari & zucchini fried to perfection, served with spicy marinara sauce and a nice lemon. This classic, crispy Italian appetizer was perfectly seasoned and absolutely delicious! Definitely recommend 100%. Ravioli al Nero di Seppia con Gamberi. Black squid ravioli with shrimp. A one of a kind delightful, decadent dish blasting you with flavor. Finally, the absolutely best item - NOT ON THE MENU - The Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. This scrumptious entrée was truly the highlight of the meal! I asked if they would make it for me and they did! This dish makes your mouth water with it's creamy, delectably smooth Alfredo sauce and moist, tender, well seasoned chicken!!! The wonderful server also brought out a large dish or parmesan cheese and brought me extra alfredo sauce - yum!! This is my favorite dish, I love it, It will not disappoint. It tastes even better off the menu. I'm not sure how I never made it to this restaurant before, but it definitely won't be the last time. I love supporting local businessess. 100% recommend. 100% will return.

What we didn't know is that they have a Super Price menu running from 4:30PM-6PM! So we were able to get our order in and take advantage of the specials. Highly recommend going early because the prices are great! We started the evening with a Caesar salad and an order of the meatballs. And the meatballs were to die for!! They were so delicious! The meat had great seasoning throughout and it was a great ratio with the sauce and ricotta. The caesar was also really good with light dressing. For entree we got the agnolotti rosso which was amazing. It was stuffed with spinach and you can tell spinach was fresh. The sauce was absolutely delicious. And the pasta was made of spinach so it enhanced the flavor. We paired off all the food with a bottle of Bonanza cab which was perfect with the food. The whole time the waiters are flying by making sure our plates are clean, and waters filled. We ended the evening with a piece of tiramisu which was perfection. Perfect balance of mascarpone and coffee. I paired that with an espresso martini which was nice and strong. Great way to enjoy the glamour without breaking the bank!

This has been a quiet Sunday dinner spot for me, but my experience this week was less than spectacular & friendly. It started off great! The burrata with prosciutto and sweet balsamic glaze was delicious as I had come to expect. The first bump started with my bolognese. Sure, the taste & quantity was as delicious as always but I have never been to an Italian place where I had to spray the black pepper myself. Usually it is applied by server. OK, let's ignore that one for now. But then came my dessert. The ricotta cheesecake I ordered was not what I expected. It was a little too dense, and unlike other places I've had cheesecake at, it had no berry topping. I certainly was not feeling and commented as much to my waitress. She took the plate that I struggled to be halfway through and had a less than friendly face. I did get it removed from my check, but again the service did not feel as friendly as it had been before, even though the restaurant was not that full. I am hoping this was just a one off.

Having taken over Oggi's old location along the 79th Street Causeway, Osteria del Teatro was my dinner spot last night. I'd enjoyed a very active day and with Italian still being my favorite kind of food I wanted to give it a try. I had enjoyed Oggi and remembered Osteria for its original location in South Beach next to the Cameo. But enough of the history lesson! I came in around closing time and was able to snag a table with a view of North Bay Village street life and two TV's. Service, from I believe was the manager, was pretty attentive. I started with a large & well blended bowl of pasta fagioli with plenty of beans and elbow pasta in a hearty stew along with a basket of different breads, garlic sauce, butter & balsamic vinegar. My main was one of the simplest & classic dishes in Italian cuisine - rigatoni & meatballs. Osteria's was a set of 4 juicy meatballs, a generous helping of hearty tomato sauce (augmented with black pepper), pancetta and a creamy serving of Ricotta. My plate was well flavored & generous enough to have lunch leftover for today. Besides portion size, I had to leave space for dessert! I enjoyed their "tulip" pastry crust with a creamy sweet zabayon and plenty of fresh berries. The menu said it was supposed to include affogato but didn't. I guess it may have been an oversight but I did order a latte for some evening caffeine. As I mentioned, it's right on the 79th Street Causeway and super close to Full Moon Beach. It's a nice place for a date night dinner on the way to the beach.
