Such a wonderful salon!! I had an appointment today for 2 gel pedicures and 1 gel manicure. I decided to come her because of the great reviews. I was nervous because of past experiences but hopeful!! I was a few minutes late because I had trouble finding the business. I called and explained, it was no problem. When I got there they were all ready for us . Business was very clean!! Heidi & Jack helped us and they were very personable and friendly! My daughter and I enjoyed our pedicures very much. Heidi did a fabulous job on my daughter's feet!!! They look so good! Her nails turned out perfect too. I love this salon. As they were doing our feet I noticed that they opened a new pack of tools. That was nice I've never seen that before. Water was perfect temperature and they checked often to make sure we were comfortable. Business is located off of McHenry just past target . Drive slow make sure you don't miss it. Pull in parking lot it's located in the back. We had a great experience and will definitely be coming back!!

So glad we came here for our mail appt. My friend and I were only in Modesto for the day to meet up half way to spend time together. We got an appt scheduled and when we came they were very accommodating for the designs we wanted and although it was close to closing time, they took care of us without rushing us. We saw a lot of good reviews for Heidi and were so glad she was the one taking care of us. We'd definitely come back if we were back in Modesto. Also writing this review from the dinner spot Heidi recommended

I just moved to Modesto from San Jose so it was hard to find a salon/person especially when it comes to my toes i'm super picky. I decided to give this place a shot after the reviews; I HIGHLY recommend this salon, seriously. Called in for a pedicure -- asking for Heidi after reading all the positive reviews on her & she is super friendly and the salon is a vibe. She definitely got my toes looking right haha. Lastly, I had a bad ingrown from trying out other nail salons in 209 & Heidi was able to take of it carefully and was gentle you have no idea how much of relief I have now!

I struck up a conversation with a lady who had a gorgeous set of nails, and in doing so she told me the name of the shop and months later I finally made my way into Caroline's Nails. I was kindly greeted by Heidi and after chatting I settled on a full set with gel polish. As Heidi began to lay the acrylic I knew immediately that I was in great hands. I can't emphasize how much I love my new set of nails. Heidi took her time, she explained my options and proceeded to kill it! Thank you for the positive experience, I can't wait to rebook.

No! No! No! My nails looked worse leaving then they did when I arrived. I'm going to have to go somewhere else to get them fixed. Horrible! The place is clean and the people are friendly but I get a pedicure so my feet will look nice. I'm very disappointed! Yelp failed me this time because this place does have good stars Update: I am adding a star because I appreciate the owners attempt to rectify the situation, he offered to fix my nails at no charge. Unfortunately I had already gone to fix them. read more

The man that did my nails was very sweet! I went in for a pedicure and we talked the entire time. He took his time with the scrub and lotion as opposed to rushing through it. We had good conversation the entire time! I will definitely be going back!! read more

I had such an amazing experience in Caroline Nails Spa, as I walked in both Heidi and Jack where enthusiastic to greet me. Feeling welcomed they sat me down right away to do my nails, as they had variety of regular and gel nail polish to choose from. Heidi did such a splendid job, with each stroke of hers my nails became art work. As she took her time explaining the prices and the specifics on how my nails will be. Heidi often made sure I was comfortable, and this is how customer service should be. While Jack was also gentle to make sure my toes can look the best, we frequently had great conversations. Are conversations and the time he put to my pedicure made me feel at ease knowing that trust was on my toes. Caroline Nails Spa had me have a great experience, as my previous nails salon had me have doubts on trusting someone to touching my nails and feet. Caroline Nails Spa have prove me wrong. You know how hard it is for me to give a nail shop a good review...after two year of living in Modesto I finally found the hidden gem. Heidi at Carolin's Nail Spa is the Bomb.com! The salon is clean, well light and she complies will all COVID regulations! She was able to fix the shape of my nails and OMG the color is everything and the massage was sooooo relaxing! This pedicure was fire...My feet look amazing and I am so happy and pleased...she is worth every penny! I was extremely happy with this nail salon! I first called in to see if they had an openings for a full set and the gentlemen told to come right over. Once I stepped in, this very nice lady greeted me. Right away she made me feel comfortable and was friendly. She took her time, made sure I was happy with the shape, and was delicate. Heidi is super amazing! So I called around 10 this morning and Heidi squeezed me in right away! And she is the most genuine and sweet person I've ever met at any nail salon. She was extremely gentle and still asked if anything hurt me (which there was no pain at all) and she even offered to scrub my wedding ring to make it clean and sparkly. She's took her time and my nails came out beautiful! Exactly what I asked for. I would recommend her to anyone! read more

I decided to get my first pedicure here, and I opted for the regular pedicure. When I got inside, the place looked nice so I was thinking maybe this wouldn't be so bad. I barely talked to the person who gave me the pedicure (which is good because I get shy talking to people), although he was still very friendly. The pedicure felt really nice, and I thought that maybe this would be my go-to place getting them! Before I left, I noticed I lost my receipt for something. It wasn't even that important, but they still helped me look for it, which showed that these people really do care about their customers! So they were friendly, but when I looked at my toes I noticed they looked rougher than before. I don't know too much about pedicures, so I thought maybe if I just rinsed it out when I got home it would be okay. When I got home, I noticed there was also some leftover white product between my nails. I was really confused, is this really what happens when you get a pedicure? I talked to some people about it, and I'm sorry to say but they told me this pedicure was not good and they advised me not to go back. I told them that maybe it was because I picked the "regular pedicure" but looking at it again, my toenails look worse than how they did beforehand. I was bummed, because I really did love the people here and the massage and scent was amazing! Anyway, my feet did get cleaner, but I don't think it meets the standards of a good pedicure. Guess I'll have to take my money elsewhere... EDIT: Btw, in case if any of you are reading this, my receipt was inside the car. I'm stupid LOL. Thanks for helping me find it though! read more

I recently moved to the area from the Bay Area, and I've been on a search for someone who provides similar work as to what I had been receiving out there for 4+ years. Let me tell you it hasn't been easy. I was waiting to write a review on this place until my second fill. First, Heidi and jack are both fantastic! Heidi did my manicure for the second time, she is quick but efficient and a perfectionist. Not to mention my manicure lasted me almost a month before the gel started to peel. They are also pretty accommodating for those two running the show alone. I highly recommend this hidden gem! read more

I travel from Patterson to come get my nails done here. Always great service Heidi is amazing! She's super sweet and friendly. I also only let her do my eyebrows I refuse to go anywhere else to get them done. You definitely get what you pay for! I'll be coming back as long as they're her. 05/13/19 my nails are well over a month since they've been done by Heidi. They aren't lifting and still look bomb! read more

The BEST service in town and CLEAN!!!!!!! Heidi is the absolute best professional nail technician I have ever met. She has an incredible eye for detail. This nail salon is great! Husband and wife owned. Both are extremely friendly and professional. Both followed Covid protocol, and have people seated 6 feet apart. Went there the day before being induced for my pregnancy and she took such great care of me. Really took her time with massaging my hands and legs during the pedicure. I would highly recommend coming here, and I will definitely be returning after the birth of my son! read more

Heidi did an awesome job on my gel nails. She fixed a bad dipped job at a different salon that was super thick and actually hurt my nails and put pressure on them. Heidi did a great job of filing down my nails and checking to make sure it didn't hurt. I definitely found my go to salon and my new nail tech. Their prices are also much better and reasonable. read more

I went here yesterday without an appointment and expecting a possible wait as a walk in. Surprisingly, there was no one in there except for the owners. I never caught her name, I'm assuming Heidi based on the other reviews, but she greeted me right away and was so friendly. She was very attentive and gentle and kept checking that she wasn't hurting me since I had just taken my old acrylics off and my nails were thin. I had a very relaxing and nice experience. The only thing I didn't realize was if you do coffin shaped,(or anything different than square I'm assuming), it's $40 instead of $25. Probably also because I got gel as well? Which I was fine with, she did an amazing job and I love them! But I must have missed the sign that expanded the prices or something. I will definitely only come here from now on though - this place is so clean and like I said the owners are very kind and accommodating. read more

My mom and I came in to get pedicures together. We got the Luxury Spa pedicure treatment and it was Amazing!! They did a scrub, a mask, she used lotion and a hot stone treatment with a very long massage and ended it with a hot towel. Super relaxing and nice, Heidi did my pedicure and was very kind, great conversation. I also got a gel manicure and it came out very beautiful. Definitely recommend! read more

If you want your nails done but don't want to be exposed to a lot of people this is the place for you. Its a husband and wife only. Never more than 2 customers in the shop at a time. You must make appointment but that should be easy. I've been coming here for 15 years & always have good service at a reasonable price. I've watched their 2 girls grow up here too. They are taking all precautions & are clean. Help support this family's small business while getting great service with the least amount of exposure. read more

Found this salon on Yelp after moving to Modesto from the Bay Area. Called a cpl days in advance and made an appt. Received a confirmation call the morning of & when I showed up for my appt, they were ready to take me immediately. Lots of colors to choose from & very friendly customer service. Never felt rushed & prices are comparable to other salons in the area. Will definitely be back! read more

If I could give Heidi & her husband more than 5 stars I definitely would! Having recently moved to Modesto I tried out a few other nail salons are was just not satisfied. I browsed Yelp! and found Caroline's Nails Spa & after reading the amazing reviews called them up and they were so accommodating and were able to take me in! My last acrylic overlays were super thick and I was worried my natural nails underneath would be ruined. Heidi listened to my concerns and even though the process takes longer, she soaked the old acrylic off so my nails wouldn't be damaged which was amazing!! Towards the end of my manicure we realized time wasn't on our side and with after school pickups quickly approaching I was worried I'd be late but Heidi & her husband both worked together to get my pedicure done which was also done flawlessly & in record time! It truly showed how much they care about their customers & how well they work together as a team. Caroline's Nail Spa will be my new go to for any and all nail & spa needs, be sure to support this small business! :) read more

Heidi took her time on my nails and did a great job! She also carries OPI gel colors which are higher quality in my opinion. I got a fill with gel color on top- big apple red :) My pedi was very relaxing. All the tools he used were sanitized I sealed- as I saw him open them up. I called on Friday to see if there were any appointments Saturday, and got a 10am pedicure appointment with no hesitation. I showed up and got paired with (I believe) Jack. He's great, but very quiet. If you want a conversation with him, be prepared to lean forward a little. Very knowledgeable and kind, and knew exactly what I wanted. As of August 2, their basic pedicures are $25, but there was no signage stating that the mani/pedi was higher than $40, so if you go in there wanting both, it may or may not be a couple dollars higher. There is a $1 fee for using a credit card, so maybe bring cash if you're a thrifty fee person. Definitely bring cash for a hefty tip! The place was empty for a Saturday, but I was told that it just depends. Luck of the draw meant this was not a Saturday morning people wanted their nails done during. The seats are beautiful, and are on a raised ledge. Those with mobility issues should know there's a step up to get to chair height, and you will have to stretch up a bit to sit on the chair if you have short legs. But all of the chairs are left with a giant "sanitized" sign so they know which ones they've made sure are ready for the next customer! Plenty of nail colors to choose from, though not too many that are outside the usual nude/reds range that is most popular. I chose a really fun and funky blue green, and it looked great. I've never had a basic pedicure take a whole hour before, but he made sure to take his time. I asked for my overdue talons to be cut as short as he was willing to go, and to be careful with my big toes, because I always get ingrown toenails (hence why I go to experienced people who know how to cut them, since I just make things worse). He spent extra time on my big toes, making sure to get all the dead skin and that everything was cut properly. In fact, he rechecked them two more times during the pedicure! Never had somebody care so much as to whether I thought the cut looked good, or whether my nail was hurting me as it was at the moment. And he sure cut them short. They look so much better now! Basic pedicure included the hot wash, sugar type scrub on my legs, a really nice lotion, and hot towel. Pretty basic, but it still felt amazingly luxurious. I thought he put too much lotion on my legs, and that I'd be walking around with either little white lines of leftover lotion, or that I'd have super oily residue, but he massaged my legs until the lotion was completely absorbed. He painted my nails and told me to wait for the color to dry before he'd put the top coat on (another first for me), and while we were hanging about and chatting, he started sanitizing the bath in front of me, to show how he did it and why it was better doing it the way he did. I think he thought I hadn't gotten a pedicure before, but I'm all for someone trying to explain how they keep everything clean! My flip flops were brand new, so they were a bit tight to get on, and I accidentally messed up the paint on my big toe while trying not to touch anything. He fixed it without a problem, and made sure everything looked good before he even bothered to put the top coat on, or let me get off the chair. Seeing as all the nail tools came in sterilized packages, I could actually watch them wipe down the chair and sterilize the spa after me, and he so carefully discarded even the nail polish remover cotton, I felt really secure in my foot health. For $25 (26 if you're using a card), I can't believe I haven't found this place sooner. They may be more rushed when they have more customers, I wouldn't know, but for my first time, it was the best service I could have gotten. Looking forward to trying them out again next time I need a bit of pampering. read more

This place is tucked in the back of P Wexford's Pub on McHenry Ave. Jack and Heidi are the owners and are the only ones who work there. Make sure to call ahead for an appt same day or another day. They are well loved in our community! Jack and Heidi take their time on each client and have a true desire to make sure you leave happy with your nails, toes, wax and microblading! Jack does the best pedicures. I always feel like I've been sitting for a long time getting pampered. I don't like fast pedicures so I appreciate the lengthy care! Jack can get out ingrown toenails without making you bleed! Lol He's great! Heidi is so kind and beautiful! She does awesome nails and toes! I have gotten acrylics and shellac. She is super sweet and kind. She told me I have nice nails beds and shellac is best for me and she's right! XD I adore this place. Their tools are always packaged when they take them out so you know they are clean and sanitary. The massage chairs are dope and the shop is clean. Give them a try! I came to this nail salon because the reviews were great. Well, this salon really deserves it. I am so pleased with my mani-pedi! Heidi is amazing, I really liked the way my nails turned out (acrylic fill, with gel nail polish). Heidi is very talented and very sweet. I don't live in Modesto, so that's a bummer, lol. I would definitely choose this salon for mani-pedi. I immediately made a next day appt for my pedicure! Thank you Heidi!! Keep up the good work! Jack just finished my pedicure, it looks beautiful. Trash service. Do yourself a favor and don't come here! I made the mistake of making an appointment. So I get there and wasn't even attended. I had an appointment and still had to wait, they have a lack of staff. They should hire more people to give better quality service. Then once I'm attended, I ask for medium-long coffin nails and she gives me short nails that weren't even coffin shaped. She cut my skin as well and puts glue to stop the bleeding!! I was appalled. It burned so much after! Do they not have common sense that putting glue on a cut causes infections!! Horrible place. Horrible customer service. DONT COME HERE & WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! read more
