First let me start by saying the minute I walked in there was a guy sitting just waiting for some business. I tried to engage him in a friendly conversation but that went nowhere. The place is totally empty, and I can see why. No welcome greeting, thanks for coming in, what can I get for you, nothing. My wife and I ordered off the menu 2 cheeseburgers, a sausage with chili, and fries. Waited 25 minutes before our order was ready. We got it to go. We ate the fries on the way home which were hot and tasty. The burgers were a different story. They both were over cooked, and chewy. No taste at all. The tomato's and lettuce on the sandwiches were a soggy mess. We both removed the soggy tomatoes and lettuce, only to be disappointed with the extra dry burgers. The sausage with chili was tiny about 4 inches long , didn't even fill the bun . And the chili was straight out of a can. Looked more like mystery meat. I removed the chili and proceeded to take a few bites. It was just ok. Needless to say I won't be back. I can now understand why this place is empty. What a waste, I really wanted to like this place since the Dog House on Solomon St closed. If Carolina Dawg is still in business in few months I'd be shocked. Only gave it 2 Stars because the fries were great. Save your money for Some one who appreciates your business. read more
