Had the Gyro Platter and I gotta say, as a Greek, it was delicious! The meat was so juicy! I absolutely loved it!

As a Greek, I absolutely the Gyro from here! The meat is juicy and delicious, the pita bread is so soft and warm, and the Tzatziki is just amazing! Having just moved to Georgia, I will definitely order here again!

A full rack of tender, sweet, tasty baby back ribs, fries and excellent Cole slaw.

Wow! Great prices, wonderful and friendly staff and huge portions! I don't know how they do it but they do do it (lol) and do it well. Tonight's choice was a full rack of ribs, fries, a salad and Cole slaw. All for the amazing price of $16.50!! I've been in town for two nights and eaten at both Corner Cafe's. What a deal!

This restaurant never fails me. We when we go it's always a Saturday morning right at opening. Everything that we've ever ordered has been amazing. Ms. Emily or Daniel always takes care of us! Just a relaxing place to grab some grub. Restroom is always clean. I just love it here. Papa Juan is running a great establishment. Oh and Corner cafe is super affordable as well!

We are from out of town visiting family and they said we had to try this breakfast. They said they visit here frequently and have always been satisfied. When we arrived you can see that it is a local favorite. We were seated right away by a smiling face. We were satisfied with everything we ordered except the potatoes were not all the done but they made them right. I would definitely recommend dining here and see why my family enjoys it frequently.

October 07, 2021, The Corner Cafe To say that I am disappointed in the actions of this restaurant, wait staff and management would be a major understatement! We ordered the southwestern egg rolls, a corn beef reuben, a philly steak, fries, soft drinks, and a bacon onion ring burger (hold the bacon) My friend ordered the above bacon onion ring burger, hold the bacon. The burger was delivered with bacon. We called Daniel (our waiter) over and explained that due to his religious protocols he couldn't eat pork which is why we asked for no bacon. Daniel said he understood and would have another remade. Not more than 1-1/2 minutes passed and a burger was brought out. However, it appeared to me to be the same burger minus bacon. Why do I says this? Because the cheese was not at all in a stage of melt but cooled, the burger didn't have its shine to it like a hot burger would. We sat around and ate our other food for a bit. My friend asked if I was sure a new burger was made because it came back so quickly. I called back our waiter and asked if the bacon had simply been removed. He assured me that he fully understood what needed to be done and the reason why we requested it, and the burger had been made fresh again. A minute later my friend went to put condiments on the burger and found a bacon sliver a couple inches long still on the burger. I asked for the manager and expressed our concern the burger hadn't been remade but simply the bacon removed. He also assured me that it had been remade and that they have burgers already made on the grill and just add the toppings to them as a request is made. I interrupted him and stated, then can you explain to me why this burger has bacon on it still and why it came out not hot but looking like it had sat around like we sent it back. He couldn't, and asked if he could maje us a fresh one. The new burger, correctly made, came out with the burger literally rolling with steam off of it, the cheese still in fully liquid melted form and shiny hot. Later on the manager brought one complimentary piece of key lime pie, but we did not eat this. My disappointment is in what I feel was an intentional disregard of serving food which the wait staff and manager knew violated a religious practice and then attempting to manipulate the truth about what was done on simply removing the bacon off of it instead of truly making it fresh again. This is an absolute disgrace and a slap in the face of our sacred trust in the United States for freedom of religion and respect for those persons personal religious practices. If you can't trust someone to act honorably in such a small thing as simply making a burger again from scratch because of their mistake... We will not return to this establishment and take my business elsewhere. Our trust in their conducting themselves honorably has been broken.

Fried Catfish with Pasta in tomato sauce, and Mac & Cheese, and Iced tea.

Normally, Corner Cafe is one the best restaurants in Griffin-Spalding County. Since I was in town to get My hair cut, I parked on Hill Street and walked past Corner Cafe and saw their posted Specials. The 'Fried Whole Catfish with Pasta' seemed like a good choice. I walked in and was seated immediately. I ordered the Catfish Special with Coleslaw and Mac & Cheese and iced tea. The restaurant is packed, and people were still coming in. Within a few minutes, My meal arrived and frankly; it looked good! Then I started with the catfish. Once I started I found very little meat. It was mostly breadcrumbs. The coleslaw was watery but okay, and the pasta was in an uninspiring tomato sauce that was dumped on the plate next to the catfish. Surely, the Mac & Cheese will rescue the ordinary fried catfish; NOPE! It was DRY! In their defense; Corner Cafe does not specialize in seafood, nor do they advertise as such. There are several seafood restaurants in Griffin-Spalding county area. Several are a better choice for seafood. However, that said; there is a saving grace that Corner Cafe has that no other restaurant in Griffin-Spalding county has: DESSERTS!!! I looked at the dessert case and chose 'German Chocolate' cake. OMG! Cha-Ching!!! Winner, winner. Made for an uninspiring dinner!

Chicken salad plate had too many onions.

Lunch was okay, service was okay and ambiance okay. We had the chicken salad and gyro with fries.

    This is my amazing food

It can get a bit crowded, and that said to me that's where I needed to be. I tried a few times and couldn't get inside. But I finally got in, and I see why people like it so much. It's very family friendly, as I had my niece with me. Plus, overall, the waitress was very nice, and the service was fast. Now what a surprise, a special sausage was on the menu. It's hard to find what I call red rose sausages, and cooked with a little burnt, the way I like them. Well, they are here! Of course, I ordered the grits, and there were no lumps. Those are the best kind of grits. We ordered a breakfast sandwich. It's been a while since I had one. We shared that, and it brought back memories. We actually closed down the place. As you can see in the pictures, it got empty. But when you find a great, delicious breakfast with red rose sausages that remind you of home, you'll sit there, enjoying the food and forgetting about the time.

I like to try new restaurants so headed down to Griffin and decided to give this place a shot. It was crowded, but we were able to be seated rather quickly. Our server was attentive and very nice. She did a good job explaining the different items and any specials that they had.. we opted for cheeseburger or breakfast plate, and I swapped out the bacon for fried chicken breast. Also got the lunch plate with mac & cheese and fried okra.. the fried chicken breast was absolutely delicious and so was the okra. I wasn't a huge fan of the pancake, but I got the plain one.
