My friend and I visited yesterday before heading to a graduation ceremony. We were able to find a parking spot close to the entrance. When we walked in, we were promptly greeted and seated at a table. The staff were friendly and very helpful with the menu. We both ordered the fried pickle bacon cheeseburger. I had sweet potato fries, and she has regular fries. They were busy but not overly crowded, so I was surprised at how quickly our order was prepared. The burger was huge, and they weren't slack on the toppings. Fried pickles had just enough breading but not overwhelming. There were enough to give us an appetizer feel along with having some on our burger too. Bacon was crisp but not burnt; it added a nice crunch to the burger. The sweet potato fries were good, but I would probably stick with regular fries or a salad next time. Their desserts looked delicious, but we were too stuffed to try one. Their menu has a good variety of foods, and prices are reasonable. I plan to visit again. read more

Excellent food. Varied menu. Cordial and professional wait staff. Welcome atmosphere.

One of the best places to eat in Griffin. Expansive menu with every type of food that you can think of, from Italian, to Greek to Cuban and more. Homemade salad dressings and gigantic desserts. On top of that the servers are usually super attentive, the food comes out quickly, and the prices are reasonable. My only knock on this place is the lack of parking. read more

My only concern with our first visit was the bill total. I did not request a copy but later realized there had to be additional charges on it. After calling to ask what the sales tax was, 7%, I was told that they charge an additional 4% for credit cards. I would have liked the waiter indicating that cash was another option to avoid the charge. Food was good and portions were more than enough. Just look at the billed charges before paying. I actually do not recall seeing the 4% on my bill so it was likely added after my card was swiped. read more

The sandwiches are fantastic. So big that you can take half home. Don't forget to leave room for the heavenly cakes and cheesecake. I'm hungry now read more

Van was our server and he was amazing. The food was as good as it gets for the prices. Big fan

Consistently good food and excellent service. Love the breakfast and lunch. Desserts are huge, enough for 2-3 people.

Great service and great food. Large variety of food as well. Always smiling faces and people that want to please. Highly recommended this place. Oh and the deserts are amazing. read more

Great food, wonderful service, amazing desserts. We drive 20 miles to enjoy eating here.

Great service ! Good comfort food ! Amazing desserts! High recommend if you're ever in town or passing by .

The amazing service started the moment we walked in the door. The host was sweet. Our server was so quick and kind. The food arrived quickly. It was exactly what we ordered and it was delicious. read more

If you want poor selection, bad food, dinky portions, and rude servers, do not visit this place!

Always a favorite with an expansive coverage of meal choices. I ordered the lasagna and my husband chose the pork chops. He must eat gluten free and the servers always check with the chef to make sure his dinner choices can be made for him. My lasagna was hot and spiced just right. The portion was large. Hubs had 2 pork chops expertly seasoned and tender. We had to save room for dessert. We had cheesecake and Death by Chocolate, which is gluten free. A perfect end to a great meal. read more

Very good food. Staff was friendly and good place to meet with friends. Was a bit crowded but it was lunch time. Would definitely go again.

Cute place. Nice people. Deserts are great but not made in house. Never had breakfast here but for lunch & dinner-this isn't a real cafe, it's just pre-packaged Cisco food heated up. read more

If you are EVER in Griffin you MUST eat here! While shopping in Griffin I asked a shop owner where we could grab lunch...now there was a pizza place and a bar/grill across the street but she said Corner Cafe so we tried it and I am SOOO glad we did. The staff was SUPER NICE. We had a little wait but not a bad one. Once seated we had menus and drinks immediately. The selections available will appease any picky eater. I chose the nachos...and they came loaded. I couldn't eat it all but they were exactly what I hoped for and more. We also had the jalapeño poppers and the Southwest Eggrolls....both will definitely be repeat items for us. My girlfriend had a Greek Salad and she wasn't disappointed, The dessert case was impressive and the slices are massive. We didn't leave room for dessert but if we had. Their sandwich list was impressive. Next time I'm trying the Club. This is definitely a place I will revisit whenever I am in the area. read more

Well lit café. No bar. Very good American, Italian and a few Greek food items on menu. Some cute cozy booths along one wall and table/chairs throughout the rest. At the register in the back there is a glass case of various cakes that you can buy a slice of. This place would be good for meeting someone you are trying to have conversation with as it was not too noisy. Limited privacy since tables were close together. Great place if you love southern food. You will have leftovers they give a generous portion. Not good for ambiance or drinks. read more

Great food great service I had the fried pickle bacon burger and it might be one of the best burgers I've ever eaten

Discovered a new breakfast place. Always enjoyed lunch & dinner...now breakfast! Loving the vibe.

Another item that I'd recommend is the baked lasagna. Reasonably priced, filling, and hometown made. I'm always looking to capture a great shot with my camera, presentation was pretty neat as well. read more

Big breakfast plates that taste so good. The spot is not big but the food is good in this cozy spot.

Great menu! Great people! Great place to eat! It's right downtown. It's like a setting for a movie. If you've never visited The Corner Cafe you are missing out. Desserts are out of this world! read more

I'm visiting from out of town so I rely on referrals when going out to eat.... This referral one was most definitely A Fail ! I don't like giving just one star because there was probably something that was good and in this case it was the service.. Afterall it wasn't my server's fault that all the food had is problems.. I ordered an omelette with ham and Jack cheese.. Without adding any spices you would think that it would have Some flavor, Not !! It just tasted blah ! The home fries that accompanied the flavorless omelette were 95% burnt, hard and difficult to chew... I also ordered a side of biscuits and gravy because through expierience and word of mouth,, I've always had, at least pretty good luck when selecting this item,, Not Here !! The biscuits were hard, so hard I had a difficult time cutting them.. The gravy was lukewarm at best !! The coffee I'll have to say was pretty good, but after all it's pretty hard to mess up coffee these days... Anyway I'm hoping that WHO EVER was in the kitchen trying to prepare the food was having, for some reason, a very bad day and was taking it out on the customers .... As I said I'm visiting from out of state and I'm actually having a home built not too far from this little eating place.. I'm out checking out possible future spots that my wife and I can frequent when going out to eat.. This place Will Not be on my Return list !!! read more

My coworkers & I were in the area for work. So we stopped at Corner Cafe for work based on Yelp reviews. I ordered the chicken philly with fries it was pretty tasty and pretty large so I was able to make 2 meals out of it. My Director ordered lasagna with a salad she didn't really care for her food she said the sauce was a little too bitter for her taste. My other coworker ordered a California burrito without chicken but with shrimp because she is pescatarian. When she got her food and started eating she realized the burrito had chicken in it we immediately called the server over & told her about the mix up she apologized & said she told the kitchen no chicken. She took the plate & asked her if she wanted anything else she said no she was pretty upset. The server said she would comp the meal and then offered her cake. She obliged and asked for some carrot cake. After we asked for our checks the server brought my coworker a check for her cake after she told her she was comping her meal. She sent over someone who was posing as the manager and said there must have been a misunderstanding because they do not give away free cake. My coworker was completely appalled at this and said she is not paying for anything and tried to return the cake. The guy then said I'll just pay for it. Not sure if I will return. read more

Great menu, great food and service. Never disappointed. Various and diverse menu, all good .

As you probably already know, this place is awesome. The End Ok, I'll tell you why. We walked in at 6ish. The place was full and everybody looked happy and full. I saw some friends, went over to say hi and ask about the food. Oh, have you never been here, he says. I said, why no I haven't. He gave me the run down. Needless to say, we ordered ribs, chicken parmesan and the seafood stuffed whatever. OMG. Everything was great. I won't bore you with the particulars but this is a definite MUST TRY when in Griffin. Great for a date, Special occasion our just plain need to eat. The menu has something for everybody. No kidding. This was a great find for me. Now I know why so many people love this place. I highly recommend it. read more

Very good food!! Service was great!! Usually place a big order with colleagues and gave never had a problem with our order!

Amazing food and service. Can't go wrong eating here for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The cakes are yummy too.

Fast service and yummy food. Very affordable and great portion sizes! We will return over and over!

The food is excellent. It is homemade there on the premises. They also have great desserts. The service is very good as well. I can't see why anyone would complain when they have great homemade foods and desserts. The only complaint is the parking because it is right in the heart of their downtown area which is very busy. read more

They have the best service ever. The employees are so nice and friendly. They have a wide variety of food and it's consistently great and delicious. They serve everything Greek, Italian, Mexican and American. I was surprised that the Italian food was so good. The breakfast is amazing as well. The portion sizes are very large. Do not forget to try a piece of their pie or cakes! The prices are very reasonable as well. You will not ever regret eating here! read more

Breakfast is one of their strong points. Good variety of egg dishes, omelets, waffles, pancakes, and also gluten free options for those needing it. Unfortunately their biscuits are disappointing, large but dry and crumbly. Lunch options are heavily weighted towards sandwiches. Most are just fair and huge, easily large enough for two people. Popular place, noisy, busy diner atmosphere, great service and wait staff. read more

Never had food from here but we have had desert from here several times, the cakes are amazing!

Very wide menu, my personal favorite for lunch is the chicken parm sandwich. Great service and the desert display case reminds me of NYC type diners (incredible). Definitely one of my top choices in Griffin for lunch & dinner. I do highly recommend. read more

I stumbled upon the Corner Cafe for lunch while I was in town one day, and I am glad I did! The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. You get pretty large portions for entrees, so beware, but everything was really tasty. I ordered the broccoli poppers for an app, and then had an eggplant parmesan sandwich with a side of lemon chicken orzo soup. The poppers were cheesy and crispy (so, everything you'd want in a "popper"), and the eggplant sandwich was hot, the cheese was melty, and the sauce was seasoned perfectly. If you're a big fan of desserts (more specifically, pies and outrageous layer cakes), this is also the place to go. They have a big array of pies, cakes, and cookies and you get a lot of bang for your buck! I'd highly recommend the Corner Cafe, and plan on returning with my family. read more
