She admitted it had NO chile and was carne remolida (?). I showed her a photo of a real chile relleno. She said I was talking about a chile poblano. Uh... yeah, a chile poblano relleno con queso, carne o algo mas. All of this conversation was in Spanish. She was trying to convince me that what you see in the photo is a chile relleno in all of Mexico and the U.S. Meanwhile, the man in the back was trying not to laugh, because clearly she thought I didn't know what a chile relleno is. Señora, es mi comida favorita. He hecho chiles rellenos, y chiles en nogada y tengo medio siglo experiencia en comermelos. But seriously, where's the pride in what you cook? It's not at El Mariachi. It was inedible. Dear Georgia people. What they serve here at El Mariachi is not real traditional Mexican food. rating 0

I told my wife how I used to stop and grab lunch and the place would be busy. Not this time. The salsa was good. I ordered the supreme enchiladas. One chicken, one beef , one bean and one cheese. They came out super tiny with no enchilada sauce on them. Had good flavor but definitely not worth $8.50. My wife and daughter opted for the chimichanga plate. They seemed to like it. The restroom was clean. I don't know if they have changed hands but it not what I remembered at all. I don't have to go back

So I was here so I stopped in and got me a Coney. From the Midwest, Detroit, so Coney is a really…read morebig deal. So I wanted to see what it was about. It's in a food hall so where it's at you have free parking. It's a really nice building and it looks like it was a food hall building that won some awards for aesthetics so it's very nice to look at. You'll come in and there's nobody to greet you, but there are people walking around and people behind the stalls and you have plenty of options to pick from. And it's kind of a multi-room situation because one part of the establishment has a lot of the food hall stalls and the other part of it has a couple stalls, some rooms you can probably reserve, and a very large bar. They have plenty of specials on some signage screens so if you go in just be aware of that. They have events like happy hour and music being played on a live situation and some other thing so just keep that in mind. Anyway, specifically about the hot dog situation, I ordered and got a beeper when it was ready. I got it and it was okay. It seemed like it was more chilly than it was dog. And because I'm from Michigan, I'm very critical on what a Coney dog should be like. Do you want the hot dog to be covered but not drowned in the chili. So not that it's bad but as you can guess this got pretty messy LOL. I thought it was tasty. It's not like home but it was pretty good. When I try other hot dogs from there, I would actually. I definitely would. It was a pretty good experience because I got the wok and see what other places were there so that was nice. But I had to do the Coney because it reminded me a little bit of home LOL.
