However the place is very charming and clean. They do breakfast and lunch. I ordered the Bbq Pulled Pork Sandwich on Sourdough for $8. The Sandwich was excellent. One of the better Bbq sandwiches that I've had in awhile and not even a BBQ joint. The portion size was good as is the value. It comes with chips, but you can upgrade to fries for a $1. The food is all freshly made, so it takes some time. Service was very friendly. Overall very very good. For all intense and purposes a 5 star review! I will return!

I have eaten at many food courts and I think this place is going to need to find a way to decrease the time between ordering and serving if they want to survive in this format. My other observation is that it isn't immediately clear when you walk up where you order and where you pick up. There was a bit of confusion between myself and a couple other customers whose turn it was and where we ought to be standing. A couple of simple hanging signs could easily alleviate this and create a feeling of efficiency that will help this new location do well. Please give them a chance. You won't regret the meal.

They were on our wedding venue's recommendation list, along with five other caterers. We narrowed the options down to two (Distinctive and Maddalenas) for tastings and Maddalenas killed it! The citrus salmon, airline chicken, and truffle glazed sirloin were all amazing... and affordable!! Amy was a great host and communicator all throughout the planning process. Covid restrictions unexpectedly forced us to delay, then ultimately cancel our wedding for quick overseas nuptials... and they offered to refund our deposit, no questions asked. Times like this show a company's character for better or worse and I can't believe how great and understanding they were! Definitely booking them for my next event!

First off, Amy, the catering manager, did everything she could to serve us in a short notice, even though they had other wedding that day. We met with her and got an in-person menu explanation, then taste testing with the chef, Matt. He was so knowledgeable about what meals travelled well and when my husband didn't like the topping on the chicken (since he doesn't like mushrooms, even though I LOVE mushrooms), the chef was willing to switch the sauce with the one we both loved. Highly recommend their sirloin and airline chicken! The week of the event, Amy and her assistant came out to my private resident venue (yes - my covid venue) and scoped out the best spot for the buffet line and serving stations. She dropped off the linens for us prior too and was willing to pick them up after the event was done. On the day of the wedding, Amy offered to get my husband and I our plates so we didn't have to stress about waiting in line! HOW AWESOME! Seriously they went above and beyond. Also, to top it off... they have the option of doing late night pizza delivery... which we did and it was amazing! 10/10 recommend them, and sooo glad I did my "Covid wedding" because it was better than my original plan thanks to them!

At our wedding my husband and I offered our guests BBQ meatballs and a cheese and cracker buffet for appetizers. The meatballs were absolutely out of this world, and huge! I heard so many of our guests raving about them (myself included). For dinner we started with a salad, which was delicious and came with different salad dress choices. The entrees we chose were Italian herb chicken breast and Italian meat lasagna served with roasted redskin potatoes and glazed carrots. Everything was just to die for! The chicken was the best I've ever had, and I was elated to bring home the leftovers (of which there weren't many). Dan also set up multiple soda stations for us, which I was so grateful for because I was thirsty the entire night. I appreciated being able to get a drink whenever I wanted/needed to. When we originally tried the food it was just heated up for us to sample so it wasn't as fresh, although, it was still good but the day of the wedding it was excellent. We got the roast beef, grilled chicken and crispy fried chicken with bourbon and BBQ sauce. My favorite was the crispy fried chicken. The roast beef was very tender, was a huge hit as well. This used to be Rico's Deli and it's in an office building, so a bit of a weird location but it's open to the public. We arrived around 10 am on a Sunday and it was completely empty and quiet. I think the original concept/idea was to have a place where you could either get grab and go items for a quick lunch, or get a sandwich or other meal quickly on a lunch break, without having to interact with anyone if you didn't want. We ordered on a tablet and then the person working brought our food out to us. There is seating in the atrium of the building which is just off the cafe area. I was surprised at the prices--I paid $9 for a breakfast box with scrambled eggs, potatoes, and choice of meat, and we also got the silver dollar sando for $6 (breakfast sandwich made with egg, cheese, and sausage on little pancakes). The amount of food I got in the breakfast box was crazy, especially for $9. I think it was 4 scrambled eggs, two large housemade sausage patties, and a good amount of potato. Everything was super hot, fresh, and well-seasoned. This hidden gem is worth seeking out! I'm definitely coming back to try some lunch next.
