Parking was fairly simple (street parking) and it can get busy based on where it is on Cherry Street, but we didn't have any issues. The dinner party comfortably sat 16 but I think they could have sat a couple more if they really wanted to. It was a family styled table and you got to talk with people you didn't know and just have a great time. They put together such an amazing spread for the cost and know that this is a hidden gem people need to appreciate more! The typical cafe hours are limited and don't believe they're open on weekends, but I can't wait to continue to come here and try more of their menu items.

The building was renovated in a clean and updated materials. The fish pond was a unique addition to the reception area! Single stall bathrooms were what we were pointed to for this venue - clean with the typical bathroom amenities but no additional necessities, at least in the women's restroom. Large windows in both room allowed natural lighting, seating was circular tables accommodating 10+ seats. Uncertain if the organization or Goei provided those. Bartenders were kind and friendly. I order my cocktails neat, so I'm not certain if there are mixologists or masters of their trade. Overall, great service.

The food presentation was good, except for the cheap dinnerware it arrived on. We were excited to eat. Unfortunately the food looked better than it tasted. The bbq glazed beef brisket was 2 large squares of what could only be described as dry pot roast cubes. The 2 crab cakes were delighrful to look at but were barely warm on the outside and cold in the center with a funny taste. The chicken breasts had a tangy salsa/chutney on the top but the chicken smelled off and tasted odd. The green beans were a deep emerald green but undercooked. The orange colored au gratin potatoes were rather gelatinous and lacking flavor. The dinner rolls were standard - cold and dry. The salad was standard with 2 dressings. It took 1 hour for them to serve 180 pre-plated dinners. Totfally unaccepable all the way around. I woukd never recommend this caterer.

We worked with Melissa Lottes who was very friendly, flexible and resourceful for our event. She had great recommendations for needed external vendors, was very prompt in responses to texts, emails and phone calls and just a great person to work with. Her staff the day of was very patient with us as some things changed last minute. The food was delicious and exactly what we ordered, their timing with our event was perfect and they were very gracious allowing us to store our guests' desserts until time to serve. The lot across the street is unpaved and we came home with mud caked shoes. My partner and I were both disappointed in our food. I had the perch, which would've been OK except the plate was swimming in a runny mayonnaise based sauce. The fries fish and slaw were soaked with it. I asked for a small plate so I could quickly move the food off of the sauce. When I asked for tartar sauce, they stated that was the tartar sauce. I suggest if you order the perch, ask for the sauce on the side. The naan dip had very little taste or seasoning. It had a horseradish sauce that was bland. When my partner asked for more horseradish, they didn't have any. It is a nice location with a beautiful view of the golf course.
