The car was registered with the apartment complex and was parked in an appropriate spot there. This tow company is run by scammers. They tow your car, and then do not allow you to pick it up for two days and charge you for the two days that they are not open and that you physically cannot even pick your car up if you want to. And they absolutely did not verify with the apartment complex regarding this, because nobody was working at the apartment complex at those hours. And if they had, they would've found out that the vehicle was registered and was parked appropriately. Mars towing should be ashamed of themselves, horrible business, and horrible way to do business.

This company towed my car while it was legally parked in my…read moreown assigned parking spot and then refused to release it to me over the holiday weekend -- leaving me stranded without transportation for days. It's one thing to make a mistake. It's another to double down and hold someone's car hostage when they know they're in the wrong. The level of unprofessionalism, indifference, and flat-out lack of basic customer service is astounding. Towing companies already have a reputation, and this place lives up to every single stereotype -- predatory, disorganized, and completely unconcerned about the people they inconvenience.

I spent a lot of time researching for my first car I was going to get with payments attached. I was…read moreso excited to have a car with power windows for once. After researching I found that a Mazda3 would be my best option. With terrible credit at the time I was pretty short on financing options, but I decided to give Manheim Car King a try. I test drove a blue mazda3 and when home to deliberate. When I came back the dealer convinced me it was this grey one i was driving, I swear it wasnt. But after much questioning and some cocky guy in the office figuring out my financing and up selling me the shittiest warranty ever, I dropped $2000 on a down payment and drove off the lot. ONE week later, I heard a knocking. It got louder and louder, I took it to a mechanic and when I told them I just bought the car they told me to turn right around and go back - the engine is shot. Honestly, if I knew a little more about cars I wouldn't have bought a Mazda3 with a hitch on the back installed as this is not a towing car, but I digress. I took it back and they refused to help me. Refused to trade in or return. After screaming in showroom and telling them I would smear their name all over the internet they said I was "one tough cookie" and decided to pay for half my repair. Still cost me little over $800. 3 years later I have replaced the normal wear and tare, on top of a new TRANSMISSION, ENGINE, CLUTCH, STARTER, and the A/C doesn't work anymore. To name only the main things. I thought I was getting a great deal at $6000 - but with interest and repairs I have spent more then I would care to admit on this piece of shit and refuse to do anymore. I am now looking for a new car - and my advice to all of you is to not only research the cars you want, but the place you are getting it from. DO NOT go to a place that gets their cars from auctions if you can afford. Its a crap shoot and I'm terrible at gambling. The only thing this place did for me was get me a high interest rate loan that then repaired my credit a bit so I can now trade this hunk in. I still owe on the loan - but its so bad I'd rather cut my losses and be done with it.

They have two lots, and when I was interested in a car at the Manheim location, they brought it up to Harrisburg for me to test drive the next day. I drove off the lot in a beautiful low mileage used Audi. Everyone I dealt with at the dealership treated me with respect and I felt they were honest and truly helpful- sort of the opposite of the stereotype of used car salesman. They earned my loyalty and my praise, so I wanted to recommend them to others. These are good guys who really want to put you in the right car for a decent price.

My husband didn't listen to me and went there. Looked at 2 trucks. One was completely rusted out underneath the truck. I doubt it would pass inspection. The truck he got from there has had thousands of dollars of getting things fixed. To now fix it will be 4k. His truck has now been sitting in the parking lot for almost 3 years. Unless they have gotten better which I doubt. I live across the street. I would never buy a car from there.

Bought our daughter's first car from them, a convertible Saab, about two weeks ago. Had a few…read moreconcerns but was assured by the salesman Amir that it was nothing. There was a 30 day warranty on the window so I wasn't overly worried. We were also told that when they acquired the vehicle, they had it inspected and a new inspection sticker was put on. Since then, the car had been sitting on the lot all winter. We bought the car the next day. Filled out the paperwork at the finance office, drove to the dealership and signed the paperwork for the car and it was then we found out there was no warranty. Amir informed us that it was because the car's price had dropped because it was on sale and that voided the warranty. I figured it's a 30 day warranty, it's not worth arguing. Bad decision. Two weeks later, I'm looking at $2,200 worth of repairs. Now I realize buying an older used car there is going to be some issues. What I did not expect were some of these issues making the car dangerous to drive and never would have passed inspection like they said it did. So we called Masic and asked them why a car they said was inspected has things wrong that would have been prevented it from passing an inspection. We were told by the owner, after some blame shifting and excuses, that he would check into things and call us back. Over 24 hours later there is no call back and when we call him, we are clicked over to voicemail right away. THE THING THAT REALLY BOTHERS ME IS THAT THEY KNEW THE CAR WAS FOR A 16 YEAR OLD AND THEY STILL KNOWINGLY SOLD US AN UNSAFE CAR. One of the many things wrong were failed front sway bar links. If you know what that means, you know just how dangerous it is for anyone much less a new driver to be driving that car. According to Amir, it's not his problem. No, the car is now our problem, but we are going to do our best to make sure this doesn't happen to another family. Read other reviews, we are not the first to get screwed over by this place. UPDATE: The owner did get in touch with us after reading the reviews we posted and after we filed a complaint with the better business bureau. Considering the timing of the call back and the fact he was so concerned about us changing/updating his reviews, I doubt we would have received that call if we had just let things go. However, he did send us a check for the repairs that would not have allowed the car to pass inspection in agreement we would update the reviews. So here is your update Dario. ** That check does not change the fact that you are selling lick and stick inspected, unsafe vehicles. It does not change the fact that you still employ Amir who is knowingly selling these unsafe vehicles to teenagers and others without a care in the world. It does not change how I feel about your shady business and certainly is not going to stop us from telling everyone and anyone what happened to us and advise them against buying anything from you. A small check issued in an attempt to save your own a-- from some unfavorable, yet accurate reviews is not the same as doing it because it's the right thing to do.
