If it's on the corner of Tucson Boulevard or closer...beware. They must think you're on your way out of the city and won't have time to complain. Condiment bar is fantastic!!! One of the toppings was an interesting cucumber/mushroom relish with a slight soy sauce flavor. Lots of salsas to choose from - we tried them all and they're killer. Interesting atmosphere with flamingos galore and other things decorating the inside. Gives it somewhat of a party and fun feel. Food comes out in a timely manner even when they are very busy. Prices are reasonable. Give it a try, I think you'll like it. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. This was a good compliment to the burrito. I noticed that my family went again last night! I know that the torta was also good. I really don't think you can go wrong with most of the menu but I only tried the potato which had chunks of cheese, sour cream and bacon. Hot, fresh and delicious. The first thing I noticed was how heavy the bag was with our orders and when I opened it up, the portion sizes were huge! Everything was very tasty, cooked and prepared to perfection, and both of us finished. What a great first impression. Fast forward a few days, we were craving a repeat so we returned and did the same order as our first time. Yes, the bag was heavy like the first time, but sadly that's where the similarities end. My taco was very tasty, but the enchilada was a disaster. I ordered the enchilada with shredded chicken, but my ordered got messed up, and instead of chicken, it was filled with cold shredded cheese that wasn't even melted. Honestly, it was kind of gross. So disappointing. If the cheese were at least melted, and the enchilada warm, it might have been edible, but the lukewarm tortilla filled with cold shredded cheese was a huge disappointment. Yuch. The beans also were nothing like the first time. They had the texture of being left in a blender too long. At least the soda's were ok, but their ice machine must be too small because both times, our sodas only had a couple ice cubes that melted by time we got back to our hotel. Overall I'd have to rate Ramiro's disappointing due to the inconsistency we experienced. They definitely can make outstanding Mexican food, but it seems they can't do consistently.
