Burger was barely warm. Fryer was "broke" so no frys. Dr Pepper was out of syrup. Diet Coke was flat.

We had to stop by Love's for a phone booster and decided to go ahead and eat at Carl's Jr. Walking inside it seemed so quiet without people ordering or sitting at booth's eating, but while this Pandemic is going on, it seems to the new norm everywhere. The booths were all closed off and there was number posted up to show customers where to stand, keeping everyone 6' apart. We skipped lunch and now was starving for an early dinner. My husband and I ordered 2 Western bacon cheeseburgers with fries. One with a large sweet tea, the other with a chocolate shake. Then my son got spicy western cheeseburger with fries and a large coke and his girlfriend (the smart one) chose a chicken strip kids meal that comes with a cookie and a small drink. Good price for four people, after paying we went over to a side wall with a bar with no stools to wait. While we ordered other customers started showing up to place their orders and stood as directed by the signs. After about 5 min. my husband's name was called and he eagerly went to pick up our bag of food that looked like it held way more than enough for four people. Back to the tahoe, my son started passing out the food. As soon as I held my burger I knew I wasn't going to be able to finish it AND the fries that came with it. This burger is big enough to be split between two people along with only one side of fries. Then I took a bite, the beef patties didn't have much flavor but the bacon and bbq sauce made up for it. I took out some ketchup and put in on the fries...the ketchup, even being the Hienz brand tasted nasty. It may have been going from the bbq sauce to the ketchup, I don't know but no more ketchup for me. My husband handed me the rest of his fries and all I could do is give him the "I'm so stuffed" look. He then offered them our son, who turned them down too. A lot of the fries went into the trash. Mental note: The food is great for a fast food place BUT if we ever go to a Carl's Jr again, order one burger and one order of fries and split it. It's the only way to save your gut. Hey I just met you And there's no Hardee's But here's an exit So Carl's me maybe? You don't find too many Carl's Jr. this far east although a lot of people wouldn't consider Oklahoma to be East at all. It's much more of a western state than it is an Eastern State if you think about it. But anyway I used to really like Carl's jr. When I lived in California, anyway. But since then I've seen the error of my ways. It's basically the same thing as Hardee's but for some reason Hardee's seems to taste better LOL. Your gf says the same thing about me vs you. The best thing about Carl's is definitely there sexy commercials and I can never give them one star because of those commercials. But the products are just not great and so two stars is all I can give. However they are cheap and cheerful - with tasty chicken and regular Burgers off of their cheat menu (I said cheap, but apparently my voice dictation wants to cheat on me with the girls from these commercials) did come in handy when we stopped here, as we split both of them, and it hit the spot for a few more hours of traveling. read more

2700 OK-33, Guthrie, OK 73044 FOOD POISONING. My nephew had a cheeseburger 3/23/23 evening and has fallen ill. Poor baby has been throwing up and mom is and out of the bathroom duration of evening continued into this morning.. I feel terrible seeing as though he is so young- horrible way to try and travel to a family planned gathering. This will easily add an extra day to this trip, and extra hotel expenses, ect. No comment so far from store but I cannot believe an establishment that has served for many years and countless people would be responsible for this. I understand this is probably not the standard, but perhaps if you valued your employees they would take the proper precautions to prevent this from occurring. Needless to say the entirety of our family will be avoiding Carl's Jr from this point forward. read more

Horrible food. Ask for burger cook fresh it came out so cold it didnt even melt the cheede. I ordered extra cheese and wastnt on there. The crisscut fries were stone cold. I took my time to patiently explain to them how I wanted my sandwich to be made, which they said they would do, and got it almost perfectly exactly wrong. Imagine ordering a pizza with everything except black olives but when it arrives, it has only black olives on it. It was as ridiculous as that. read more

I HATE this location. I ordered a GUACAMOLE bacon burger 3 times here. Each time they forgot the freaking guacamole! !!!! What the freaking heck! Its the first word i said, its the whole point of ordering that burger. I obviously want guac or i would have ordered a bacon burger, but i didnt. I ordered a GUACAMOLE burger. GGGUUUAAACCCAAAMMMOOOLLLEEE! How hard is your job!? I never had this issue with any other location but this one take the award for rude employees and crapy, unfinished, cold, undercooked, stale food.. This place is hit and miss. Some days they're great, others I just want to slap the attitude right off the employees face, and show them how to make what's on the menu. The worst part about this one is the employees attitudes or like they hate their job, the good part is there are actually a couple of employees who are very friendly and SORT OF make up for the others mistakes. read more

This has to be the worst Carl's Jr location I have ever experienced. Went there at 1am for a burger and milk shake. It took them 25 minutes. Given the restraunt was relatively busy considering the time. The employees were rude and short with me when I asked for ketchup. Fries are awful. They have been cold to mildly warm the last 3 times I've eaten here. Burger was way over done as well. Need to close this down and build a McDonald's ASAP read more
