Carlos has some menu items from the old Aegean restaurant in the Sunvet mall. They make the pizza and have the salad dressing for the Greek salad. Some of the employees also have moved over here. It is nice to see some familiar faces. It's nothing fancy, but has traditional pizza place seating as well as a restaurant side with a bar. It is a great place to try some of your old favorites or to go when your schedule is busy and you want some "real food" to eat quick. They have a parking lot which is usually easy to find parking unless the dance studio in the building has classes.

Chicken Parm slider... comes with two, but the bread is definitely a few days old. It's $9.50 ..

Chicken Parm on the old roll isn't worth the calories. Had the baked clams which came with 6 and were chopped and very good. $7 wines for happy hour everyday! Horrible. Undercooked, super thick , overly cheesy with hardly any sauce . What a waste. $34 for Large Pizza half meatball!!

Cool spot with a Manhattan vibe "behind" Main Street in Patchogue…read more The reason this is key is because, since they face out to the firehouse and residential areas, parking USUALLY isn't a problem. There's a small lot that's free and you can park on Jennings. (sorry residents). We went on NYE so had to park several blocks away. No biggie. The inside is dark and cool with a city-vibe. Ample bar space and 1-4 tops an some banquet seating that lets you look out over the street. We were greeted right away by what turned out to be our server and seated promptly by the windows (we had a reservation). Also greeted by a gentleman that we think might have been her dad. The young lady hustled all night and managed the crowd well. We never waited too long for her to check in on us and she was very helpful with selecting wine and clarifying menu items. That being said, THIS IS A SMALL PLATES JOINT. People expecting full-sized portions should adjust their expectations accordingly. We did, however, order the Trastavere seafood platter (medium) which came as a tower and seemed impressive. Two types of oysters (large and medium) were presented; briny and fresh and pretty damned tasty. There was also a ceviche and tuna tartare that was, unfortunately, a bit unremarkable, as was the shrimp cocktail (though the shrimps were pretty hefty). The American "black caviar" was a nice way to commemorate the meal. Nutty with a pop of salinity but maybe something you can skip. We meant to order the Carne e Formaggi but got the Gamberetto instead which was fine as it was pretty tasty nonetheless (made with shrimp but it almost tasted like smoked salmon). Virgola Manhattan was good but pretty standard. Follow-up drink of dirty Manhattan was blissfully salty and cold. But back to the menu: we are unsure if they have an actual kitchen back there which would also explain the small plates concept and oyster and chilled fish options. The bruschetta was tasty, as mentioned, but it seems like they cut and toasted the bread and topped it with the crudo. The other bruschetta options featured ingredients from other menu items that could be re-purposed for multiple dishes. Smart but expect this. We plan on returning and trying the charcuterie board (mix and match cheeses and meats) and some cocktails. Overall, a nice night out and a nice option for dining and drinking around Patchogue. Cheers!

Finally remembered to visit here Monday when my brother and sister in law flew in from Oregon…read more Holy cow everything was amazing!! The wine, the flatbread, the bruschetta you name it. The owner made rounds to make sure everyone was happy and was looking for honest feedback-which was really cool. The music was really good as well. It's a pretty intimate spot but they can hold decent sized parties-it's great you can make reservations a head of time. The chairs are so comfy!!! They have a nice amount of options for both appetizers and mains. For sure, not your average wine bar. The flatbread was so yummy! The potatoes were good but pretty typical. Loved the dressing on the greens. My burger was perfectly cooked. They also had a wide selection of wine-something for everyone. There was also beer and cocktails on the menu. You can tell a lot of thought was put into it all! I'll definitely be back to try some other things.

The bar area is reminiscent of someone's basement bar and the dining area is loud with a very poor lighting design. The food itself is a joke. Very small portions and ridiculously expensive as well as being poorly prepared. We started with the white anchovy appetizer which consisted of 3 toothpicks with an olive wrapped in an anchovy, something you would find in a martini and not an appetizer. The lamb chops and the fish of the day were both overcooked and appetizer sized, but with entree pricing. The carrot cake dessert wasn't even a cake but a dried out cruller sitting on some cream cheese. The wine list was nothing to remember and equally overpriced. We won't be back.

The restaurant was busy, and they offered valet parking, which made arrival easy. When we arrived, our table wasn't ready yet, but the staff kindly asked if we wanted high-top tables by the bar, which we declined. The bar area is quite expansive and has a cozy feel, so I'm not sure why I didn't recognize the restaurant from my previous visit. Once seated, we were promptly approached by our server, who took our drink orders with promptness and friendliness. One thing that hasn't changed is the restaurant's lively atmosphere. Its noisy and can be difficult to hear each other, especially if you're sitting near a crowded table enjoying sangria. The lively ambiance is part of the experience, but it does make conversation a bit challenging. For our meal, I ordered the Lobster Meat & Shrimp in garlic sauce, which I found to be very flavorful. My partner ordered the Chicken Lemoine, and she enjoyed it very much. Overall, our dining experience was pleasant, and the service was excellent throughout the evening. Sangria 71, I will most definitely return for Happy Hour.

I even left work early to accommodate the scheduled time. We arrived at 6:25 and were told it would be "just a minute." By 6:45, nobody had come to help us, update us, or even offer us a seat while we waited. We were left standing awkwardly near the entrance of the restaurant the entire time rather than being invited to sit in the party area we were there to view. The communication beforehand already felt rude and dismissive, so this experience unfortunately confirmed the lack of professionalism and customer service. It was especially disappointing considering we were looking to book a large event and spend a significant amount of money there for a very special occasion.

The meat and cheese boards have these peppers that provide the perfect acidic bite to cleanse your pallet. The pesto gnocchi is homemade, tender and fresh with herbs.
