Not good, absolutely the worst pizza I have had in a long time, the crust was thin and soggy tasted like they didn't give the yeast time to activate, the sauce tasted like salty watered down tomato paste and the cheese wasn't cheese it made the pizza so greasy I couldn't eat it. The pizza is good - specialty pizzas are very good. The Greek Salad is excellent! Large portion (usually) and not expensive.

Food's fine. Can't complain about that unless you're one of those "wipe every slice of pizza with napkin"-type people. However, I sometimes find their ability to deal with customers desperately wanting. Yesterday, I placed a delivery order. They dropped off the food and left. A few minutes later, we discovered that the order wasn't completely correct. I called them up, only to be told that because they don't charge extra for sandwich toppings, they couldn't do anything to rectify the situation(as if I had called to get 50 cents back for some forgotten onions and tomato). All told I wound up with a sandwich I didn't particularly want but had paid for(although not the toppings, apparently, of that they were very clear). By the end of the call I had the conflicting urges to commit arson and to apologize to them for their mistake. This review might seem extraordinarily petty--and to some extent it is. But I consider this incident to be just one of many examples of the thoughtlessness that is endemic of their customer service. It seems like every other time I deal with them they do something to bug me. At this point, you're probably asking yourself "Why does this idiot keep going back to this place?" To that I can only respond, the pizza's pretty good. read more

Their white pizzas are so delicious and well crafted, that I have become a white pizza lover. They also make a Brooklyn style pizza that is better than 90% of the pizzas I have had in New York. If you don't try some of their specialty pizzas, then you are trying not to be happy. I have never had a bad pizza here, and I eat here at often. read more

I'm allergic to cheese and I ordered some pasta, stating that I didn't want any cheese on it, which isn't super complicated. They smothered it and not in grated mozerralla or Parmesan but in slices of what looked like kraft singles. They did fix it no problem, though. The sauce was basically ketchup and the pasta was smothered in it. Also the sausage I got with it was over cooked, dry and pretty flavorless. I have no idea about their pizza (again dairy allergy) but from what my family has told me its pretty sub par. There are tons of other cheap pizza/italian restaurants a stones throw from this place go to one of them. read more

Has there been a change of ownership here or are they having a hard time finding good staff? I called to place an order for the delivery and the man who answered the phone couldn't understand me, and passed me off to a woman who was very difficult to understand. I repeated my order several times and when it arrived (45 minutes later after they told me 25), it was the wrong order. Love this place! The fastest delivery I've ever had and that is consistent! One time my phone kept cutting out and the delivery guy came to my house personally to take my order, although I do live fairly close, it was very nice! The absolute worst experience I have ever had. My order was wrong twice: originally, & when they "fixed" it again. When I spoke to the manager/owner the following day he told me that he had put in their computer system "never serve [me] again." So because I informed them that my order, that I paid for, was incorrect twice, they will no longer take my order? Really? I did not yell, nor did I disrespect anyone at Spizzico, so I do not understand why I was treated with such disrespect--such disregard. When I said I was going to call the "Better Business Bureau," the manager told me to "call the police." I'm still not certain why he continuously told me to call the police. I promise I will tell everyone I know to Never patronize Spizzico. Ever. read more

They have the best pizza around and the delivery drivers r always cheerful and efficient.

This used to be a great place. And then it wasn't. We usually go to New Wayne Pizza, and we love them. But there have been a few times in the past couple of years when they've been closed so we've tried Spizzico's again, and we've been disappointed every time. It's just never right. The person who takes the order over the phone always repeats it correctly, but what we end up with is never what we asked for. Last time we asked for a white pizza with chicken, bacon, and ricotta. There was no ricotta, but we sure were charged for it. Tonight we asked for half bacon, half meatball, all extra cheese. The gentleman who took the order repeated it back to us THREE times. What we ended up with was a pizza that had bacon AND meatball on one half and just cheese on the other. Ew. We won't be going back. read more

This is the best pizzeria on the mainline. It is conveniently located next to the Wawa. They are open during snow storms and power outages. The staff is efficient. The sauce is great! Wow, they have lasagna and delicious manicotti creeps too. They are always consistent. Definitely order a Greek salad- it is excellent. Love Spizzico!! read more

Spizzico DID have the best food in town, but NOT anymore! Ever since the original staff (the cooks, the manager, and even the person on a phone) left, the food from this place became literally un-edible! We did give them 3chances to get it right, but todays order was it - the pizza was not cooked through, it had absolutely no taste, and the chicken wings (which we requested to be Mild) had HOT sauce poured all over them (not the way you make them, anyway), and there were no Blue Cheese and celery. We will stay away from this joint from now on, and so should you. ACME frozen pizzas are 10 times better than theirs. read more

Just had the pizza for the first time tonight because my gym, Club La Maison, uses them for events. WOW. As close to my personal fav, Circle Pizza in Avalon.This is the best pizza I have ever had on the Main Line. And I have lived here for almost 40 years. Just get the plain. It doesn't need any frills. Red pepper flakes, crushed black pepper and a cold soda and you are good to go. :) read more

Pizza was good but didn't arrive for almost an hour and arrived cold. We called and they said, we're sorry the pizza was cold but there is nothing we can do. No sorry, no nothing. I used to order there all the time when I first moved to the area. The food was okay. The guy that normally answers the phone is pleasant and easy to talk to. Then one day I called and a man with a thick accent answered the phone. He sounded very busy and distracted. I was patient with him. When I tried giving him my order, he kept getting interrupted. He then said that he couldn't understand what i was trying to tell him. I said the order several more times, then he REALLY got mad. He started shouting and cursing so naturally I hung up. He then called me back a few minutes later and left me a four minute voice mail cursing me out and threatening to break my neck. I'm sorry but someone who has that a temper like that WITH HIS OWN CUSTOMERS SHOULD NOT BE WORKING IN CUSTOMER SERVICE....PERIOD. I will never ever order from here again. Furthermore, I will not recommend this place to anyone. Ever. I wish I could give a lower rating than one star. read more
