I just moved to this area and I tried this place; I had would consider like a Korean fusion burrito, and the pickles were very delicate and not overpowering the gochujang sauce was actually pretty mild and easy on my stomach. The Matcha latte was also pleasant. I'm looking forward to trying other things on this menu. ‍‍

First time at Carla and it did not disappoint! Found myself in LA on a Thursday evening and took advantage of the moment. The burger was perfect, I absolutely LOVED the chilis in it. BK sandwich was crispy and so flavorful. And the salad was BIG and creamyyy. Staff were very friendly and helpful with ordering. The dimmer set mood lightning is great for dinner. Not too crowded during the 6pm reservation but it was packed by the time we left. Parking - leverage the massive Target garage across the street. There is an entrance on 3rd street or La Cienega.

The matcha is made to perfection! Not too sweet but still very rich in flavor. I usually can't finish my matchas cause it's too much but this one was so good I drank all the way down. The guy helping us was so nice and patient when explaining the menu. We ended up getting the breakfast burrito and loved it! Will def be coming back for that combo.

Being this expensive should be a crime lol a sandwich should not be $20!!! The matcha was filled to the top with ice and the top couldn't even close cos the barista filled it to the top!!!! I would not come here again for these prices The sandwich was decent...

One of the best breakfast spots in town. I had ordered to-go, and it certainly did not disappoint! Their breakfast burrito was incredible, along with their matcha cream top. The real star of the show was their French toast. Thin, crispy, egg-y, buttery; what more could you ask for? All the sauces they give you are made in-house and are great. Service was fast, and the food was fresh/hot when I ordered. Highly recommend!

3.5 Stars I bought the sandwich from Uber eats so I can't comment on the service or ambience for this one. The sandwich I got is called the tuna chop. It's one of their most famous sandwiches. I love tuna sandwiches so I decided to try it out. The sandwich features a generous portion of house-made tuna salad, complemented by avocado, chopped salad lettuce, tomato, red onion, cucumber, garbanzo beans, pepperoncini, jalapeño, red wine vinaigrette, yellow mustard, and garlic-basil aioli, all served on a toasted ciabatta roll. The bread was soft and crispy. I enjoyed the bread. While the sandwich filling had its sour, tangy and spicy moments which were nice, and it did taste very fresh, I was hoping that the flavors would come together stronger. The tuna itself didn't really stand out to me. It wasn't bad but I was hoping for something more. Plus I paid about $25 for the sandwich. I would try something else from here though.

Cute brunch/lunch spot on W 3rd! I came in for an early lunch on a weekday. Walking-in, I loved the branding and the vibe of the restaurant. A perfect spot for a casual and light lunch. For drinks I ordered the banana cream matcha. It was on the milkier side but it was still delicious, creamy, and had good banana and cinnamon flavor. However, I wish the matcha flavor was stronger. For food I got the garlic aioli chicken sandwich and it was great! The bread was crispy, the veggies and avocado were fresh, the chicken was juicy, and the garlic flavor was tasty. I would prefer if the sandwich was warmer though. Overall, a great spot for lunch and takeout. I would be definitely be coming back to try the other drinks and food!

we got both the garlic aioli chicken and tuna shop sandwich (and shared both which i love doing sometimes haha). both were pretty good! the chicken sandwich was really yummy from the garlic aioli sauce they used, and though simple ingredients, it was still good. the only thing was that the bread was a bit hard to bite, like yk when it's a bit dry, but it was okay. the tuna chop sandwich was really flavorful, especially since they have a lil salad type mixture they put in it. it had a bit of spice to it. the bread on this one wasn't as hard, but it's bc the tuna made it softer lol. i think i liked the chicken sandwich slightly better out of the two- it was good but lowkey wasn't as flavorful as i would've liked. these sandwiches were good! i just feel like ive had better, so im contemplating giving this a 3 or 4, it's in between. initially, i wanted to try their caesar salad wrap- that's def one of their most popular items. but we've had it from other places so ig we wanted to try something new. they also have smaller breakfast items and toasts. there's a good selection of matcha and coffee too! we didn't try it though, but maybe next time. the aesthetic inside was really cute, there's a good amount of seating though it wasn't that large of a space. i'd say there's a decent amount of vegetarian options or tuna!

3.5 stars. Garlic aioli chicken sandwich was good, not life changing -- it definitely used to be stuffed more before they opened this location if you compare my photo to theirs back when they had the pop up. I think the place was just a little too overhyped for me. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't the experience I had hoped for. The prices used to seem high, and still do a bit, but other places are catching up with inflation. 3rd street is always a hellish place to park, but I walked over after a doctor's appointment so didn't have to fight for a meter.

    Tuna Melt Toast

I came here this morning & tried matcha for the first time. I got the "Banana Cream Matcha" & it was so good. It wasn't too sweet or too bland, literally the perfect blend. I also ordered the "Tuna Melt Toast" this toast was INSANE. It was hot, fresh, & absolutely delicious. The customer service was amazing as well. The guy at the counter was super sweet. I will definitely be back & I highly recommend this place.

    Chopped Salad. Very good.

My co-worker loves the sandwiches from here, especially the ciabatta bread that they are made with. She was ordering lunch and asked if I wanted anything. The Chopped Salad sounded good, so I requested it. The salad consisted of chopped romaine, iceberg, tomatoes, cucumber, red onions, garbanzo beans, topped with sliced avocado and sliced pepperoncini. It was so yummy I didn't notice that she forgot to give me the dressing until she finished her sandwich and realized it was still in the bag. LOL! No biggie because it really didn't need it. Next time she places an order I'll get one of the sandwiches so I can try the ciabatta bread. The only complaint is that the delivery time was longer than indicated, which was most likely the fault of the delivery service used.

    Turkey Bliss 100/10

I have been a fan of Carla Café's incredible sandwiches from their first few drops to now. I truly believe they make some of the BEST sandwiches in the city and I am extremely picky about my sandwiches. I Postmates almost every day and it holds up so well. There is no doubt the TUNA CHOP is one of the best sandwiches of all time. It's so tasty. No notes. Absolutely perfect. But....it's time to give the TURKEY BLISS the attention it deserves. This is the best turkey sandwich (not cold cut) in Los Angeles. There is no doubt in my mind. Incredible flavor from the fresh roasted turkey, pickled and relish, the Parmesan cheese, it's tangy and fresh and so flavorful. If you are not into garlic, ask for no garlic aioli and it is still incredible. This is a top sandwich!
