The experience was fantastic!! First off, like most people, I was a bit hesitant. I was contemplating selling my car on my own or selling it directly to a dealer. Both of which, had major cons. My friend mentioned Carkibo to me. I gave it a try and was fascinated by how fast and efficient the process was. Seriously, the best idea ever!! read more

Carkibo - Franco sold my car :D - Car Dealers Near Me - San Jose, California

I had a Jaguar I needed to sell quickly for a down payment on a new car.  However, after visiting 3 car dealers, they were basically giving me peanuts for the car.  Carmax was slightly better, but nowhere near what KBB said the car was worth.   I know, I know, it's a Jag and shouldn't be worth much, but not as low as what the insulting offers these dealers gave me.   But it was tempting since I've sold a car before and it was a real pain. Having to run ads, and talk to strangers.  Several didn't show up for their test drives, wasting my time, and there was one where I feared for my life.  Who's there to protect me if someone just steals my car with me in it? Then a friend told me about Carkibo. Their agents do all the busywork and take on the risk, and also guarantee to get me more than dealer trade-in?  What do I have to lose?   It turned into a shockingly easy experience!  Wayne was my agent.  He's kinda cute, but that's another subject.  At the inspection, he was friendly and knowledgeable about the car, but he still went through all the details with me so he could represent the car well.  I signed the title and handed over the keys.  Less than a week later, he sold it and gave me a check for $1500 more than my Carmax offer.  Count me amazed! I mean, holy cow, who wouldn't want to use Carkibo to sell their car?  I didn't have to do any work and I made more money.  What a no-brainer!  I'll definitely use them again when I'm ready to sell my next car and send them all my friends. read more

I'm so glad I found Carkibo! It was like a blessing in disguise because I went to the dealership and they gave me a pretty low offer compared to KBB and Edmunds just like I expected. I decided to keep my car until my friend told me about Carkibo. As a woman, I don't like the thought of meeting up with strangers and dealing with negotiations face to face. My fiance tried to sell it but couldn't find the time to meet with buyers because he was always busy with meetings and traveling for work. I was really impressed with Carkibo customer service. The agent was friendly and he walked me through the entire process. They literally took care of everything from the inspection, test-drives, and paperwork. I wish I would have known about Carkibo earlier. Thank you Carkibo for taking care of everything for me! =) read more

Me: Seller I sold 2 cars in my lifetime both were over 8 years old and 120,000+ miles. If you've had a car for such a long time, with so many miles. It has, a few, perhaps many issues. I dread the experience of driving to multiple mechanics getting quotes for brakes and other problems, and getting the sticker shock of how much it is for a simple fix. I'd rather just sell the car as-is, without the fixes. On the other hand, I know that I won't get very much money if I sold it as is and it would be much more difficult to sell. I heard about Carkibo from a friend that head a great experience. I reached out to Carkibo and Wayne helped me. He was my car savior! The process was simple. Give him the car and some paper work, which took all of 10 minutes. And that was IT. No untrustworthy mechanics to deal with, and $800 brake replacements. No shopping for prices. I didn't even have to wash the car. All of that taken care of. The expenses were all paid for from the proceeds of the car, and I didn't have to come out of pocket for anything!! Not only that, there were things that I would not have fixed, that was fixed and added alot of value to the car. Such as: car lamp lights were foggy on the inside, post shine those looked brand spanking new. The other was a key mark on the passenger side door, which was buffed and painted. The last one was, interior liner was falling off, and that was patched and fixed as well! Let me tell you, after seeing the car in that condition, I almost didn't want to sell it! After all of that, the car was sold in 2 weeks and cash was settled the next day. Net Net, 10 minutes of effort, no cash up front for fixes, the car looked beautiful, AND I got 2k more than I would have if I didn't do the fixes. I would recommend it to all my friends and family and would definitely use it again. read more

After all of the positive reviews on here, I thought: what a great way to sell our 2007 Outback. If only that were true. I submitted an inquiry on their website, and waited. And waited. Finally, 5 days later, I get a call back when I'm traveling. He apologizes for the long delay, saying they've been fundraising. I ask him to call my wife who's at home in California. No call. After a few days, my wife calls them. They claim they had called her back, but ask her to send them the details again (why -- didn't they already have them??) . They say that they're not very interested in cars with over 60,000 miles, but they'll make a case-by-case evaluation. Ours had 80,000. So my wife send them the info: make, license, and mileage. She gets an automated email reply, promising a response. Never heard back. Finally I gave up and posted it on Craigslist, and sold it in 4 hours, for more than Carkibo estimated it to be worth. And with no commission to them. Maybe Carkibo works for some people. I found them to be completely unresponsive, so bad that I actually joined Yelp to write this review. Is that what a selling experience is supposed to be like? read more

I had heard about Carkibo from a coworker when we were discussing trading my car into the dealership when I bought my new one. I had sold cars in the past and knew the time and effort it would take, so I decided to take the hit and trade it in for a lower price. He told me to not do anything until I talked with Tom with Carkibo. We called him right away and he explained the whole process immediately and with such enthusiasm. I was still a but unsure but decided to give it a chance. I set up a meeting with Tom two days later and he and the mechanic came to my job to inspect the car and take pictures, which was great for me! Tom gave me the information packet and explained exactly what it was for and what information I needed to obtain in order for them to complete the process. Within a week, and six test drives later, I received a call from Tom that they had an interested buyer and their offer. I agreed and it was done! The money was transferred quickly and I had no extra paperwork to send in. I couldn't believe how easy and fast Carkibo was able to sell my car. It was extremely convenient for me, especially with my long hours during the week. I definitely wouldn't have found time to go on six test drives, let alone within one week! I would recommend this service to ANYONE who is looking to sell their car but may not have the time to invest, or looking to trade their car into a dealership. Their customer service and professionalism earn 5+ stars from me. read more

We were looking for a car online and weren't having any luck. Lots of sellers online were misrepresenting their vehicles or would not respond timely to inquiries. With CarKibo our questions were answered quickly and accurately by our CarKibo agent. Once we made contact, we set up a test drive and our Agent even called us the day before to follow up. We enjoyed our CarKibo experience and would definitely use them in the future when buying or selling cars and won't hesitate to recommend CarKibo to friends or family. Thank you CarKibo! read more

You know how selling your own car is a painful experience of lowball offers and flakey contacts? Imagine not having to deal with that. Carkibo did all of the hard work for me. I just had to give them the information I had on the car, a key, and let them do their thing. They dealt with rejecting lowball offers, finding legitimate buyers, the test drive, and all the arrangements short of my showing up at the credit union for the check (buyer took out a loan). Even when the buyer made things a little more complicated and wanted additional mechanical inspections, they dealt with it and just kept me up to date as necessary. They were able to negotiate for more than my minimum which I'm pretty happy about. Money well spent, the car's gone! :) read more

My first experience with them, and, for me, it's the best way to sell a car. I don't like negotiating, and usually "give away the store." Tom did a great job working with potential buyers, and then a lot of negotiating with the eventual buyer and their credit union. Glad he had the skills and the patience for that!! Got about $4,000 more than trading it in to a dealer, and no more work for me! What's not to like! p.s. I bought my new car using a car buying service, and they couldn't give me more than what a dealer would offer.Again, Carkibo wins! p.p.s. This turned out great for the buyer as well. They went to a dealer for essentially the same car as mine, and the dealer's initial price was way, way, way over the market value for this car. I do believe in capitalism, but used car sales can be crazy! I'm happy the buyer and I both got a decent price. I would definitely consider using Carkibo to buy a used car. read more

As a buyer from Carkibo, the overall experience was Great! Honest people to deal with. Tom has been always around to update me with all the steps he has been doing to finish the transaction. Trying to do his best to finish the deal as smooth and as fast as possible. I didn't sell my car through Carkibo, but actually I bought an almost new Camry through them. I would recommend them either way, if you are a buyer or if you are a seller. read more

through word of mouth, I found carkibo, and so glad I did. I was trying to sell my 2003 Mitsubushi Eclipse that I had for 10years. But I had difficulty trying to sell it on my own. So I resorted to carkibo. Vince was my agent, and he was amazing. The whole process was seemless and I didnt have to worry about anything. He took care of everything for me, and got me exactly what I wanted for my car hassle free. I strongly recommend carkibo if you are looking to sell your car. They are extremely pros at what they do and you will get the piece of mind you deserve knowing that your car will sell. I was told my car will sell in 1 week, and it sold in 5 days, and this is why I gave them 5 stars.... read more

I got to know Carkibo from a tech meetup a little more than a month ago when I just bought a brand new luxury car and wanted to sell my 2012 Toyota Camry. I contacted Carkibo and Tom reached out to me. They explained their business in detail and I was like why not give it a try, they won't steal my car anyway. I let them check my car, handed over car documents and then the car was off to go. They handled all the selling work and I got their sell check within three weeks. I'm satisfied with the final sale price which is $2500 more than a dealer's offer. The whole process is hassle-free. I paid them 5% of the sale price and I think it's totally worth it. Tom kept in touch with me during the three weeks and he even did some body work on their expense to help with sell. Overall, great business and I'll come back again in a few years. read more

Carkibo is the real deal guys! I worked with Wayne to sell my car and he did a great and professional job Although my car was kind of older, Wayne was super motivated and goal oriented. He was very flexible and worked with me even when I was out of the country It all started with the initial car review. Wayne was very open and honest about the Carkibo process. After signing over the title, he worked with me to get the car ready for sale by fixing minor issues after inspection. All this while, he was continuously updating me via text and sending me pictures of the car. He is amazing in knowing what the car buyer wants and what the car seller needs to do to prep the car for sale Before Carkibo, I had the car up for sale for over a month. After many annoying no-shows and low ballers I decided to give Carkibo a try. Totally worth it!! My car was sold in 7 days and received check shortly thereafter! The car was sold at market price and I am happy as it was totally hassle free for me! If you want to sell your car completely hassle free with professional service, use Carkibo. It is the only logical decision! You will be surprised at how much more money you will get as compared to the other offers out there. All in all, Carkibo is amazing and 5 stars is a must! I will recommend them to all my friends! read more

A week before moving to a foreign country, I found Carkibo and contacted them. They totally understood my unique situation, and were willing to accept this opportunity. In this short time, they inspected the car, advertised and brought buyer for test drive. When I left the US, the car had not been sold yet which made me very nervous, however, they kept my car in the secure parking (under roof) and even sent me the picture where the car was and how it was taken care of. So nice! Then, just 3 days after moved out, they finally sold my car with the price they mentioned at the beginning. They sold my vehicle for $3k over dealership, which is about 19% higher than the dealership. Amazing!!! Since the beginning to the end, their support had been great and trustworthy. If you have questions, they contact you right away, and if you need, they send you pictures. Although I am far from the US, Carkibo definitely makes me comfortable. It's very reliable company. Vince and Tom were my contact person and they and their team are absolutely the best! Highly recommended!!! read more

I wouldn't recommend any other way to sell your car! Carkibo made the process seamless. As a professional, I did not have the time to market and be available for test drives. I could have sold my car to the dealer--for literally half the price! When a friend told me about Carkibo, it sounded too good to be true. The experience was fantastic, Wayne and Tom were both very easy to work with and went above and beyond to make sure the process was convenient and smooth. It really is an incredible service! read more

My first experience with Wayne of Carkibo was when I purchased my 2008 Honda CR-V. As I wrote in my review, the experience was total professional. Well, when it came time for me to sell my 2007 Civic, I figured that I would go with Carkibo because of the success with my first round with them. I couldn't be more pleased with the follow ups and continued dialogue about what was happening. Wayne always kept me in the loop about test drives, possible buyers and finally, a buyer! The transaction was easy and I absolutely will refer Carkibo to all of my friends who are looking to either buy or sell their car. Thank You!! read more

I recently purchased my Acura SUV at the end of the lease because it was worth more than the buyout price. My intention was to sell it as soon as possible. But like many people, I was simply too busy to list the car and meet people for test rides. I also don't like the haggling on price part of a car transaction. Carkibo was the perfect solution for me. With very little time and effort, my car was sold in just a few days. I also think I got a top price. I recommend this service. read more

I actually bought a car that was being sold by Carkibo. Wayne was very professional and honest throughout the process. The seller had filled out the title incorrectly which created a delay at the DMV. Wayne followed up with me to provide additional documents and made sure the DMV accepted the title. He also refunded me a portion of the DMV fees after the sale, as he had promised to do. I would definitely work with Carkibo if you have a car to sell. They appear to be focused on cars newer than 5 years old with less than 60,000 miles, but that may be negotiable. read more

Well,,,, it sounded like a great idea. i called them to see how it all worked and they asked me to email my cars info to them and they would call me back with an estimate and a time when they could send someone out for the inspection. I emailed my info and then,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,nothing,,, I never heard back from them. I put it on craigslist and the first person to come to see it bought it. Glad i saved the money. read more

Carkibo sold my Civic within a week and got me 60% more than KBB! Their experience was seamless and all I had to do was schedule the car inspection, handed them the keys and got a check not even a week later without dealing with the buyer or meeting any strangers. This is a great new service in the Bay Area aiming to take the pain out of the car selling process and they are truly professional. My agent Wayne kept me updated throughout the entire experience so the communication was awesome! I highly recommend Carkibo to anyone who needs to sell their car because it is a convenient service. I will sell my next car with Carkibo again! read more

We had a fabulous experience with Carkibo. We were able to sell our car quickly, easily, and most of all, safely. We got a great price and everyone was happy. And the buyer got a terrific car. We will absolutely recommend Carkibo to friends! Thank you! read more

My husband & I were looking to purchase a small, reliable & fuel efficient truck for his daily commute to work. After searching on our own & dealing with unpleasant sellers (to say the least), we came across a posting by Carkibo. My husband spoke to Tom, who facilitated the scheduling of our viewing & test driving of the truck. We live in Fresno, Ca & drove to Dublin, Ca where it was being sold. I DID NOT mind the drive since the Carkibo rep, Vince, met us at 8pm (accommodated our request). We test drove the truck, were given a detailed Carfax report as well as presented with all the documentation to show the maintenance done in the last few years. Needless to say, my husband & I loved the truck & purchased it on the spot. It was such a hassle-free transaction. We both highly recommend Carkibo to auto sellers & buyers. Thanks Tom & Vince! read more

my wife recently decided to get rid of her old car. selling a used car is never easy, especially a used German one (mini cooper). we didn't want to go through the headache, so we first tried dealer and hoping they could take it, at a reasonable price, based on blue book number. what dealer offered is anything but reasonable. so we decided to sell it ourselves. my wife started to look into how to sell it on internet and she came across Carkibo. working with Carkibo is very easy and they sold our car in a few days. they got a mechanic to check out the car, we told them the issues we know, which is minor actually. they worked with buyer for test drive, we didn't need to come back home. the best part, the price is what blue books says it should be. this is completely fair deal, for us and for buyer. I give them 5 stars. I will recommend them for anyone I know who will be selling used cars. read more

First time meeting Wayne, btw, Wayne work for Carkibo, he was very nice and helpful. Wayne help me with all the paperwork and show me everything about the car. Carkibo is the best place to buy car. Let me tell everyone why, I like Carkibo. Carkibo did all the research for me and even give me a list which I won't even know where to look if i plan to buy a used car. The list contain the original documents from the previous owner, all previous work on the car, Carfax Report and Inspection Report, like if the car has any damages or engine problems or any kind of issue. Wayne is a very honest and straight guy and he will tell you the truth. I would buy another car from Carkibo because I trust this company and they're honest and straight forward and they take their time making sure the car which they sold is in a good condition and they will not sell a lemon car because Carkibo believe that everyone should have a good running condition car and want everyone to be happy with the purchase. I recommend everyone should buy used car from Carkibo if you don't believe me, try them for yourself and you'll know what I am talking about. Once again Thank You CARKIBO...I LOVE MY BMW 328I - CHEER CARKIBO. read more
