This place is about quantity not quality, portions are huge but doesn't have a good taste.

She engaged in conversation with me, as I am not from Jersey and helped me with the menu clarity. There is no parking lot here, but alot of street parking. Inside is very clean with a gender neutral bathroom and some cute decor. The prices are decent. Dessert pieces are a little pricey, but very big. They do have soo many sweet treats. They also have specialty turkish sweets and others such as cheesecake, dubai chocolate, parfaits & other things that I do not even know the name of. I wish i could try them all without getting cavities haha. When I come back to Jersey I will definitely be coming back to this cafe as it is a hot commodity to me!

I wish I had tried this muchhhh sooner-- 1st time; Tried the Iced Caramel Voltage. It was sooo good, perfectly sweet and the quality of the coffee was well roasted. 2nd time; Tried the Iced Crème Brûlée Latte. Also very delicious, they mix vanilla powder into the milk and it's so flavorful! My friend tried the hot Biscoff Latte and also absolutely loved it-- Sooo many options on the menu and sweet treats to choose from (it can get overwhelming!) My only note is that they only had one person running the shop both times I visited and there was quite some traffic for one person to handle. The other time visiting, they were mostly out of select coffees, decaf, etc by Noon and limited w milk stock.

I remember they had a small room off to the right and there was really no one in that room, and then I realized it was an acai bar where you can get an acai bowl. In warmer weather, they have an acai bar, which is such a cool option to have inside a cafe. It is closed during cold months. My friends got desserts and coffee, and I got an acai bowl and some plain tea with almond milk. The acai bowl was not huge, but it was definitely very good and very filling. I loved the granola. I got acai, granola, fruit, and nut butter, and I really liked it a lot. I was full and happy because being vegan and gluten-free, there are not a lot of options for me later in the evening. While we were sitting and eating, we noticed there was a small prayer room in the back. We were curious, so we went in and took a look, and I thought it was really nice that they have that space as part of the cafe. It looked like there was a holy book, I believe the Quran, and there was a small, quiet area where someone can sit and pray. I thought that was such a unique and lovely touch to honor someone's religious convictions. Overall, I loved this place, and I plan to go back the next time I'm in New Brunswick.

The Pink Coconut ($7.50) was delicious and very refreshing, and honestly not a bad price at all for the location. The pistachio milk cake ($8) tasted like a pistachio version of tres leches, it wasn't my personal favorite, but still enjoyable. The pistachio ricotta cake ($8) was the standout for me; you could really taste the nuttiness and the ricotta, and it was beautifully done. We also had the baklava (2 for $5), which was reasonably priced and decent, though a bit harder than I prefer. Overall, this is a must-try spot with great drinks, lots of space, and solid desserts. My only small wish is that the food wasn't served in to-go containers, but I understand it since the setup seems more self-serve. Still very much worth a visit.

This café has a golf shop and simulators for all the golfers out there, but that wasn't my thing. I came for coffee and Matcha. Coffee bar is pretty an aesthetic. Barista was nice. They served two kinds of Matcha from Japan. I went for the Matcha from the Kagoshima region with almond milk. It was pretty good. I could taste the Earthiness and it was smooth with only slight bitterness. Not the best Matcha in New Jersey. (that goes to Ooika as they fresh mill their Matcha every day and grow it in Japan) but I wouldn't mind having another one if I were in the shopping plaza.

That's when I stumbled across Hidden Grounds Coffee House... and let's just say, this place is not so "hidden" once you find it. I ordered the smoked salmon and cream cheese toast, and every single component was fresh, high quality, and dialed in. I added avocado (highly recommend), and it just took everything to the next level. Simple, clean, and absolutely delicious. Then came the honeybee latte, hot and wow. Whatever they're doing behind the scenes with this coffee, it works. Perfectly balanced, smooth, and honestly one of those drinks you think about later in the day. This is a non-negotiable order. And because discipline is overrated on a work trip, I added an almond croissant. I should've gotten two. It's filled with something magical, I'm not even going to pretend I know what it is, but it's rich, flaky, and completely worth it. If you're anywhere near Hidden Grounds, do yourself a favor and check it out. This place knows exactly what it's doing.

Very happy to have a Hong Kong style Cha Chan Tang restaurant right here in Edison, NJ. While there are a few places in NYC, its nice to see Jersey finally get one too. The stars if today were the appetizer dishes. The rice noodles with the special peanut sauce was 100% the best and exactly what you'd expect when you order that dish. The squid and popcorn chicken were both amazing and fried lightly but with a great crispy texture. The small pineapple bun with butter was delicious. We actually had it as a starter and again for dessert. While we loved the apps, the baked rice with pork chop and pepper steak rice bowls were just ok. They weren't amazingly flavorful, but they were still tasty with heavy portions so the value was there. We had HK style milk tea and topped off our meal with their special creamy french toast. Overall we left overly full and didn't have to pay too much. Wow Cafe is very affordable and the staff is very friendly and fast to cater to your needs. We got a small pineapple butter bun ($1.99), Rice noodles roll ($5.99), and crispy popcorn chicken ($8.99). They were freshly made and hot when I got it, and I didn't have to wait too long to get it. You can't mess up the rice noodles and popcorn chicken, and they didn't. The rice noodles were chewy and flavorful thanks to the sauce. The popcorn chicken was crispy and good flavors as well. The small pineapple butter bun for $1.99 was not worth it for the price. Small and nothing special. The drink I got was just okay... it didn't feel like it had much flavors. Parking was uh questionable since I'm not from the area. It looked like there was some parking in the front but very limited. We end up circling around and found they had parking in the back lot. The inside of the restaurant was well decorated. It had walls with names of some cities in Hong Kong like Central and Mongkok. I found it cute and reminded me of Hong Kong just a little.
