In July I called for hot tub repair. On August 24, the technician came out and looked at our spa for 5 minutes. I heard NOTHING. After 2 weeks, I called. I was told they were looking for a replacement part. Two weeks later, they asked my husband to come pay for the part. Two weeks later, I've heard NOTHING. It is now October, and my hot tub has not been repaired. Oh -- and they don't answer the phone on Fridays or weekends.

I drained it down to 24" and refilled it. was clear for a few days. I have changed my filters many times, vacuumed with robot vac and hand vac. I have tried everything. my water remains cloudy. I have had my water tested a few times and have done whatever I was advised to do but still not clear. Before last year my water was crystal clear even when I first opened it and when I would have my water tested, I would be told it was almost perfect. I followed your instructions to a T. But now!!! I am always happy with the people and service but very frustrated and disappointed with this water issue. I don't like looking at my pool and not seeing the sparkling crystal clear water.

Rays pools did such a terrible job installing a liner in our in ground pool, I think a monkey could have done it better. The liner leaked around the light almost immediately, and little folds or ribs developed on the liner on the bottom of the pool. We had to remove the liner they installed drain our pool and reinstall it ourselves as rays pools was no help, offered no help, offered no refund, ray just stood by his half assed work that a group of 4 years olds could've done better. The workers were loud noisy pigs too, left their cigarettes and trash all over our enclosed porch seating area. Again stay away this company is a headache and the owner incompetent. Finally this fall, I re-checked regional listings for a Buck Stove service provider and found Hall's Pools Spas & Fireplaces. They've been in business almost 30 years; not sure whey they weren't listed before. They are an official Buck Stove dealer as well as for several other brands. What a refreshing experience! The initial phone call, I had a friendly staff member who provided several options about scheduling and whether to bring the unit in or have their staff come to the house. We brought it in (its very small and semi-portable). The in-store experience was great--the staff quickly examined the unit, patiently asked questions to understand exactly what the problem was that we were experiencing, and gave me an estimate for time and cost, and waited for me to confirm yes, that was fine. I already felt good, but then whoosh, they called the *next day* to say the work was completed, the fireplace was good as new! Different people on the return visit but the same level of knowledgeable, polite friendliness. They reminded me we live in their service area and the charge for them to come out (vs me dragging the unit to them) is nominal. Now the unit is working great and we are so happy to have a working fireplace again!
