Owner Donna Miano hosted the Chamber, our Ambassadors and Government Dignitaries and gave us all a tour after our ribbon cutting. The upstairs is BREATHTAKING - ECLECTIC - did I say what a breathtaking view it has? The indoor/outdoor patio is amazing. The downstairs - all one level has a patio that is 100% oceanfront wonderous! Systems - like needing to hold a minimum of $1000 in your account for incidental spending that does not need approval. My request is that all spending needs to be discussed and approved. We are in the digital age. There would never be an instance where i can not be reached. But he's got old school "systems" that no longer holds water and may not be most efficient for modern digital/AI age. Yes WES BaeSSEMER did put in a very reliable trustworthy tenant -- but left it empty for 2 1/2 mos during peak rental season with almost no showing per our continuous camera recording and our door lock that notifies us when the door is unlocked, or a garage door is opened. While I had multiple people knock on my door to inquire about it. I sent these folks his way. He did have other properties he diverts prospects to. He told me this is what he does. That this would be a benefit for us. Though you could see how it also would not be. Incidentally all his listings that sat there previously for months got filled! There were previous reviews that questioned whether the property was actually rented or whether he just chose not to show it.

My family and I have been customers here for over 7 years The only down side is that the grouchy old people have banned skateboarding (yet you can ride your nerdy Razer scooters, Vespas, and giant OIldsmo-buicks up and down the very same streets that double as sidewalks all day long. A little hypocritical? Seabluffe has its own gated guarded access point on the coast Hwy (the only way to get in/out of Seabluffe) and beach stair access to the quiet Grandview beach. Two pools, and a spa make warming up after surfing quite nice The pool is heated year round to 84 Degrees F (29 C) What makes this place extraordinary, is that along all of southern California's coast, this place is the only incredibly sparse and park-like housing development The 255 units are spread out over 50 acres of rolling green oceanfront Eden; peaceful and quiet beach living. The location is right on the Northern border of Encinitas/Leucadia with Carlsbad. Because all streets are cul-du-sacs with zero through traffic, it's a great place for dog-walking and kids. If you're trying to rent a place in Seabluffe - just keep in mind that there are many owners and different agents managing the approximately 100 units that are available for short & Long term holidays The main office does not participate or get involved in the rental process at all . Your best bet is to search VRBO or www.homeaway.co.uk Many places are only rented by owner, and several agents manage a their own handfuls of Seabluffe homes. Oh! Useful tip. Make sure to never confuse this amazing neighborhood (Leucadia Seabluffe Village) with much nosier, "Leucadia Village" which is down in a noisy hole, miles from the beach, next Interstate 5. If this were my beach resort, I would find a way to put in a Spa at the other pool, and maybe find a way to make a cool zip line and water-slide down into the ocean. That stupid office building and tennis pro shop they have ont he coast hwy is also a waste of real-estate; I would bull-doze it and put in some kind of groovy gastro-pub and tap house. oh well.

The grounds were beautifully maintained, it felt safe, the pool areas were very nice and clean, the section of beach was amazing, there was warm water to rinse off with at the top of the beach access stairs and the condo was perfect! I initially feared the worst when we were told that the jackets were not found. Nonetheless, the owner of Cardo worked tirelessly and tracked down my daughters' coats. More importantly, the house was adorable. In the dense neighborhood of Normal Heights, this place has a secure off street parking space that was able to accommodate our Ford Explorer rental vehicle. Aside from no cheese grater, we had everything we needed to spend a week there without feeling the need to eat out for each meal. Communication with Cardo was superb throughout our stay. The emailed instructions related to security codes and standards were timely and clear. Moreover, the owner made it a priority to track down the jackets when my wife alerted him of the issue. With all of the fraud out there, we also appreciated the extra measures of security that Cardo took to ensure our photo ID matched the credit card. This company is responsive at looks after the customers that visit the properties they manage.

NEW OWNER ALERT! Cockroaches, raw sewage, broken toilets, syringes. Booked 2 bdrm 2 bath beachfront…read more8/24-8/31 for a family reunion at a neighboring hotel. Have been a customer for 17 years as have many family members and friends. Checked in, paid my balance by check and they cashed within an hour. Arrived in room to 2 dead cockroaches and a toilet which wouldn't flush. A live roach runs into bathroom and under sink. Told mgr Lily she called maintenance man who should arrive in hour or two. In the mean time, chased 2-3 other cockroaches killed one. Wife flushed other toilet to see if it worked and it overflowed on to floor and shower backed up spewing sewage. The smell was unbearable. Put down towels called manager she said she'd call plumber now. Went to get a glass in the cupboard and found a glass full of syringes. Obviously this place has not been cleaned. BROKEN TOILETS, LIVE AND DEAD COCKROACHES, RAW SEWAGE,SYRINGES were the issues within the first two hours of our family vacation. Plumber arrived and fixed plumbing. Still nobody cleaned bathroom floor or shower. And it reeked of sewage. We asked if anyone was going to clean up the roaches and the manager finally did. Manager tried to get us to stay with discounts and other rooms but they had nothing comparable and we were disgusted and really couldn't see ourselves staying anywhere in this place. We chased a roach and moved a chest of drawers and found RODENT AND COCKROACH FECES (see photo)Final straw was my son finding roaches climbing up from the drain in the shower into the pan. That's it. We never unpacked so we put everything in the truck and drove 2 hours home. Vacation week ruined. Family reunion ruined. I called the next morning and spoke to Lily and said I was driving down to pick up my refund. She confirmed that I would be getting 100% refund and that the owner was there and valued us as a customer and wanted a second chance. All I wanted was my money back I said. Drove 2 1/2 hours to be greeted by a check for half my total. So they kept $2400. Unbelievable. I will never give uLIARS on top of it Enjoy the photos. I have more and video to be posted. UPDATE. Owner called 9/12 and said he would be sending the balance of the refund. STILL NOTHING. After a month, I received a full refund. Not pleased with what I had to do, and was prepared to do in order to effectuate the full refund. They could have tried to make it right but failed. Sorry to say we won't be customers again.
