This place is the king of pizza in Alden. Every pizza I've had from there has been very good without fail. Wings are ok, and I end up having to wait extra for them. The subs are pretty good, especially the Cheeseburger sub, that is my favorite. Both the White and Red sauces are delicious and flavorful, with high quality cheese to compliment it. I'm at a two week training near here so I stopped here for lunch today. It's $7.85 (plus tax) for a 20 ounce pop and two slices of pizza. They had six different kinds to choose from which were inside their turn style. I asked for a slice of the white pizza with onions (they had some without onions) and a slice of the pepperoni with cheese. The white pizza was excellent! I used to love this place but it's gone downhill fast. Got it yesterday and pizza was undercooked as were the wings.

Surprised about the mixed reviews... I had a great experience getting take out yesterday. I placed the order before heading out and the pizza was ready just on time. The staff were all super friendly and the prices are cheaper than all of the places I usually go to. The pizza itself is just my style, doughy, cheesy, saucy, thicker crust and delicious! Since moving to Gen Co this the closest to Buffalo Pizza as we can get. This is located on the outskirts of Erie County in Alden NY. We sauce is good and the pepperoni is perfect. They have other locations in Monroe Co too. But this location is close and our "go to". Just really good local pizza. Also perfect if your from out of town and camping at Darien Lake State Park. My only preference is wishing the wings were a little bit crispier. But other than that. Keep doing what your doing what your doing. read more

A year ago I would have given this place 5 stars! However the past few times we ordered the pizza was soggy in the middle. I love my toppings, however they add a tad too much onions and olives. The onions slices are usually too thick and don't cook as well. Their wings are decent and the service is always good! We still go and get pizza there but have started rotating to another local place too just because in my opinion Carbone's isn't "to die for" with the issue of soggy pizza. read more

I order from here quite often and I never had anything bad to say about this place, except for last night. We had ordered 3 subs ( Assorted, Cheeseburger and a Royal) and a double order of Mild wings extra crispy.... The hamburger was soo undercooked that my BF had gotten ill all night from it. The Royal was Mushy and the Rolls and all sub rolls weren't even toasted( asked for extra toasted). The wings were extremely spicy and the skin was rubbery. Called them to speak to a manager and to no avail... This place needs more of a MATURE staff. Was offered a Free order of Double wings.... but what about the subs that were disgustingly UNDERCOOKED?? So as my weekly Saturday pizzeria adventures continue around the WNY area I decided to do and eastern suburb pizza stop for a change. This week I landed at carbones pizza, it's a small little place located in the village of Alden. I ordered my usual, pepperoni, sausage and onion and when offered double dough (they offer it here) to start off the dough was thick as expected and tasty. I wish the crust had a bit more crispness to it but since this was my first stop I had no idea what to expect as far as their pie standards are. I'd ask for it crispier next time.The toppings where larger in size than the normal, that's a plus and there was a decent amount of toppings on the pizza itself. The sauce is where they lose points. I like flavorful semi sweet sauce. Here it was tomato canned sauce tasting like (sorry to say) with basil and Oregano sprinkled in WEIRD to say the least! I suppose if I was passing through the area and was hungry I may opted to try a sub or something and maybe just maybe a slice. read more

Carbone's Pizzeria organization in Alden is terrible. Doubled billed me provided proof and still no credit. Had a credit waiting for me. They lied saying I called placed order after speaking with Dorothy so called manager that I would save my credit for later in week. Fake news staff says I used my credit for pizza. Wasnt for me but my elderly pastor and wife. Comes down to they lost my statement of double charge and never really wanted to replace my food. All talk no action. Horrible place. Bought a pizza about 6 months ago I'll never and haven't gone back reasons had to wait forever and all the help was just young kids joking around and finally got my pizza took I home the dough was all burnt, so took it back no refunds or another one offered. Today I ordered a steak sub. I asked for half to have lettuce tomato and onion. The boy that answered the phone told me they can't do that. They would have to put the lettuce tomato and onion on the side. I asked him wouldn't it be more work to put it on the side than just to put it on the sub? He insisted that it needs to go on the side and I insisted that I wanted it to be on my sub. Needless to say when I went and picked up the sub today there were 3 additional pieces of foil in my sub bag one with onions wrapped in at 1 with lettuce wrapped in it and 1 with tomato wrapped in it. What a joke. It's too bad these young kids have never heard of the words customer service before. Food was good. Very busy. The staff was friendly and worked quickly to serve as many people as they could. Even though the line was long, I did not have to wait too long to pick up my order. While they did not fill my order because they didn't put sauce on my chicken finger sub, they were very quick to offer to make a new one, correctly, but I just asked for a to go cup of sauce and they were more than willing to help in that regard as well. read more

Considering the area, I was very happy to find such a tolerable pizza place. I've only had their pizza and wings so far but neither left me with any complaints. Their pizza is cooked well with a sauce that isn't overly sweet and crispy crust (best part of pizza). Prices aren't bad either. $26 dollars for a sheet cheese and pepperoni is perfect for a weekend dinner when we don't feel like cooking! read more

By far my favorite pizza and best steak sub around. I may be a little biased, my hometown favorite. Soft sloppy style pizza your gonna want to fold. Excellent cheese and the oregano in the sauce is a refreshing refined addition. On to the steak sub. I'm a regular customer here. We order at least twice a week. I'm over their very poor level of customer service which seems to rely heavily on the whims of the kids they have working here. Twice, in the psst, I've had complaints about pizzas I was given. Im a fool for continuing to go here after that but it's a quick option and on my way home from work. Both times, first an over-cooked pizza and the second a pizza that had apparently been handled roughly and throw in a box with all of the ingredients shifting to one side. Both times I was promised a call back by the manager and was never contacted. Either the manager doesn't know what their staff is up to or simply does not care. I called tonight and have called late before and they know us so they will let us know they close at 10 pm and want assurance we'll be there to pick up. Today I called at 9:20 and was told they were closed and the girl said I could talk to the boss. When I questioned further the story changed to they close at 9:45. I was then offered the option to order a medium pizza. When I pressed further and advised I come her often they were closing. I'm over the piss poor customer service here and will not be ordering from here again. read more

When I moved out of Alden I could not find a pizza place that could compare to Carbones. They have the best pizza and chicken finger subs. They don't have any specialty pizzas other than white pizza but what they do have is delicious. read more

Carbone's is hands down the best pizzeria in Alden and quite possibly the best place to eat in town. I've ordered from Carbone's around 10 times now and the food is always amazing. I typically order a mini pak which is a large pizza and 20 wings on the pizza I get pepperoni and banana pepper and wings half medium half BBQ extra extra crispy. Carbone's has some really good pizza the one day my girlfriend or a small pizza I ended up eating the entire thing on her. It was a cheese and pepperoni and mushroom pizza and usually I'm not a fan of mushrooms but for some reason I just could not stop eating it I haven't had their wings but every time I stop and everything seems to be very tasty looking so if you're and all that and and you're looking for some pizza give this place a shot I don't think you'll be disappointed. read more
