Everything else I found were either unreasonably priced or a marketing ploy, which is my biggest pet peeve. I drive all the way from Brentwood just to see Maria, she is absolutely worth every ounce of that drive! Her knowledge of skin care I'd put up there with my Dermatologist who's arguably one of the best in LA (use to be Chief Dermatologist at John Hopkins). My appointment time was 11am. And by 11:07am, I was already undressed by your instruction and on your spa bed. Does the above clear your confusion? I booked an appointment with Maria Andrea for 2 people; however, while heading to our appointment we had car issues. We immediately called and of course no one answered, so we left a message. Maria called back 5 minutes later and was so mad and rude that she didn't even let us talk. She said, "you are trying to make this my problem, when this is not my problem." I've never posted a yelp review before, mainly because I've never felt the need to or thought it very beneficial. After referring quite a few people to her I had a friend yelp her to see what she was about. I realized a lot of people do check out review sites like this to help them get an idea of what they may be getting. That's when I decided to take some time because I do think everyone would benefit from seeing her; here's my experience. I originally only came in because my boyfriend had surprised me with a "spa day" after a stressful work week. I have fairly oily skin and will easily break out from stress. It was never to an extreme but I've never had clear skin. I had tiny under the skin pimples all over my cheeks on my chin and on my four head, I then had a few normal white heads that would always come and go-at any given time I at least had 3 and then of course the pesky blackheads- All of this was easily covered by makeup. I was reluctant to go, I had only had one facial before and it was awful, I broke out right after and they never really went away. She didn't give me any information about how I should take care of me skin once at home or reasons for my acne-just said that was my skin. I wanted a nice complexion without the help of make up. After a total of three visits, spaced every 3rd week, I have absolutely clear skin! In my first treatment she surprised me with how knowledgeable she was. I didn't tell her much but she accurately guess what types of food I was eating and how I was taking care of my face. I came home with a face wash she recommended and added a few of the dietary suggestions. Within a week I could see a slight differences. I booked another appointment and kept up with my new routine. After time and treatment my skin became clear. From relatives to coworkers as well as people I meet for the first time comment on my great healthy looking skin.
