    Over the years we have purchased several new cars from dealers throughout the Sacramento region …read more.. none that I can remember as good experiences UNTIL we were directed to Auburn Toyota in 2012. We felt immediate trust in the representative (Lee) who "wrestled" our car from another dealer and finalized the purchase with no dealer markup as seen from others in the region. Today, 13+ years later we had an experience that exceeded our expectations once again. Our representative, Rocky Robinson, spent four months with us searching for the vehicle we finally decided upon. He was relentless in searching for the Highlander model, type and specific colors both exterior and interior. We were very specific about options and Rocky was able to grab a factory build and slap a preference on it. Two months later it arrived and Rocky finalized the purchase with the same professionalism and dedication to our interests that we had in 2012 ... again with no dealer markup. We were not going to settle on an alternative and Rocky persisted in meeting our requirements. He kept us well informed throughout the process. We also appreciated the professionalism of Finance Manager Chris Carew. He breezed through the paperwork needing our attention yet was welcoming to our interjection with questions about various items like vehicle security, maintenance, warranties, and eventual payment.

Auburn Toyota was the only dealer with not only one in stock, but one without Mark Ups or unnecessary ad-ons included in the Price. Most dealers didn't have one in stock; and the ones that did, wanted $5k markups or $5k in add ons, I got included at no charge at Auburn Toyota. Definitely worth the drive, especially since I came from Pacifica, just south of San Francisco. Will definitely be a repeat buyer here and recommend giving them a look before going local. They got me lower payments and int% after me

It was such a positive experience for me and the crew at Gold Rush Subaru did such an amazing job to make me feel comfortable while I was there. They answered all my questions and made sure I understood everything. It was the easiest car purchase I've ever had and I kind of felt like I was getting the VIP treatment during my entire visit. I made an appointment with Mike Carlson but I wasn't even sure I was going to buy an SUV that day. Mike did a really wonderful job from the moment I got there until I drove away at the end of the day in my new Outback. The whole process was relatively easy, from the test drive at the beginning to the financing option at the end. I didn't know a whole lot about Subarus when I got there, but I left feeling very comfortable with my purchase and new understanding of the Outback. Still a lot to learn with my new car, but I totally recommend Gold Rush Subaru in Auburn!

Because I still had concerns, I sought a second opinion from another shop (M45), where an additional issue was identified that was not caught during the original inspection. When I brought this information back to Gold Rush, the response felt more like backpedaling than accountability, followed by an offer to re-inspect the vehicle. Under normal circumstances that may be reasonable, but when you're dealing with transmission concerns and potential drivability/safety issues, it's frustrating to feel like you're back at square one after already paying for diagnostics. I understand diagnostics aren't always perfect, but confidence in the inspection process matters, especially when customers are making major repair decisions based on that information. I left feeling disappointed and questioning the value of the service I paid for. I'm hopeful management reviews situations like this and focuses on customer confidence and accountability.
