Disappointing experience and unprofessional behavior during a simple price negotiation. I want to start by saying I am sure many people have had good experiences at AutoSense. Unfortunately, mine was not one of them. I left feeling disrespected and disappointed, and I am sharing this so others know what to expect. The y were very helpful at first, but things changed the moment we started discussing price. Before they ran my credit, I tried to negotiate the vehicle price a bit. When I made my first offer, the owner, I believe his name was Dave, immediately shut it down and asked if I was serious. He tossed the Blue Book value across the table and insisted the truck was worth the high end price. What surprised me even more is that the truck has been listed for over 250 days, which usually suggests there is room for discussion, especially for a vehicle with an accident reported on its history. When I pointed out the truck's issues, scratches, leaking struts, delayed gear shifts, and possible transmission and differential concerns, he dismissed them and said it was still reliable. He then raised his voice and told me I should have done my research before coming in. He also made several unnecessary remarks, including telling me that if I wanted to price cars however I wanted I should "go get my own million dollar license and sell cars," and asking why I did not just try buying something closer to home. At one point he suggested I should look at a cheaper Jeep "if I could afford it", and much more unnecessary things said before I walked away. I was not trying to lowball anyone. I simply did not want to spend over $10,000 on a truck with those issues and a reported accident. I was prepared to talk financing and even increase my down payment if the conversation had stayed professional. I understand people have bad days, but there is no reason to treat a customer this way. Reviews like this are meant to help other buyers understand what kind of experience they might have before making the trip. If you are planning to shop here, I sincerely hope you are treated better than I was. Be cautious if you are considering the 2013 black Nissan Frontier currently listed at AutoSense. Buyer tip: Always test drive thoroughly and consider having any used vehicle inspected by a mechanic before committing to a purchase. Bought a truck from here 5 years ago should have done the Carfax. Had problems with it all throughout the last 5 years dropped well over 10,000 into repairs. Trying to sell it now come to find out the odometer was rolled back. This is fraud and I'm looking into filing a complaint. read more

If you decide to return the used car, you must return it to the dealer within two business days by closing time (unless the contract gives you more time). You must return the car under these conditions: With no miles in excess of what the contract allows. (The contract must allow for 250 miles.) Tom told us we could return the truck with a restocking fee of $750! after taking the truck home it made a terrible noise as I pulled into my house. I put $60 of gas in the tank and I barely got a half a tank it's a V8 and after thinking about it that doesn't make a bunch of sense for me to purchase this vehicle. As the California law states in the first paragraph I have a right to return the truck as he said yesterday when we purchased it. Now he claims he submitted the paperwork to the DMV and I'm stuck with the truck. Not right! He completely lied during the purchase of the truck! Thomas been doing this for years and he definitely knows what to say but will not follow through with the commitments he's made. I will contact him again to discuss this law and I'm hoping he will do the right thing by California state law! read more

We drove in the lot with our red Cadillac and he immediately said that it was badly leaking oil. The owner of Autosense convinced us that we should get rid of it quick but could only give $5000. We bought a Pilot that he claimed was a great car but has major issues that aren't covered by the insurance. We drove by the lot and the next day the Cadillac was for sale for over $7000. He couldn't have repaired in that short of time. The pilot we bought had to have AAA jump start us on the way home from buying it, it doesn't fire two of the cylinders, the engine mounds are broken, and the oil is mixing with coolant. This top part is an edit. After posting this review I read through others reviews. There is a lot more negative than I expected. I bought 2 cars from the dealership. Neither car has had any issues and were approaching the two week mark. Both cars are driven daily. One has over 600miles driven since we got it and it's working great. It's a used car. It has issues. It's gonna have to be put in the shop for some repairs and maintenance soon. But this isn't my first used car and I expected this. Maybe I got lucky with my interaction at Autosense...but two cars and a trade-in feels like a lot to get lucky on. I traded in my truck and bought two cars at Autosense. It was a refreshing experience. Friendly atmosphere. They aren't pushy about trying to sell you a car. You won't feel swindled after an interaction here. I got the best deal I could have possibly gotten for my trade-in without selling private sale and it was hassle free. My fiancé and I had been looking for a car for her and something more fuel efficient for me for months. The people at Autosense were thoughtful and helpful in getting us both exactly what we needed while sticking to what we wanted. We got a better deal than I could have ever expected. We had some small issues with the cars before deciding to buy them. Not only did we get a better deal with the minor inconveniences, they had them fixed free of charge in a matter of hours. Bought a work truck for my husband. That night driving home he had to stop TWICE to work on it. Today will make 2 days we've had it and my husband has had to work on it a few more times so it doesnt blow on him. He thinks the engine might have a crack. Bought my duramax about 18-22 months ago now from these clowns. 2 weeks later, what do you know check engine light comes on. About 6 months after that (with light towing thus far) the bulletproof Allison tranny popped in a drive through. After working on truck I'm starting to notice all types of crap. A lot of what seems to be pick and pull parts? I don't know. The truck seems to be a ticking time bomb. Well see what happens next.
