I purchased a 2013 BMW X5 from the folsom location. The vehicle was priced well after a long search of similar vehicles in the area and when I arrived on the lot, the salesmen were very friendly and had absolutely no pressure in their presentation. Simply asked if I needed any assistance and offered me the keys to test drive with ease. The purchase process was very simple and after making the decision to go ahead with the purchase, I was out the door within 15 minutes with the keys in hand. Within a week of purchase, I drove the vehicle 700 miles to Phoenix and while I was there, I had a BMW shop perform a full inspection on the car. It passed with no significant issues beyond normal wear and tear. The only issue that I have had in the 2 or 3 months since purchase was the check engine light came on for a pump that pressure checks the fuel tank to verify no leaks. A simple fix. With any used car lot that is not a major car company lot, you take risks with your purchase, but I was pleased with my interaction with the sales representatives and with the purchase. Great at selling :) Bad on keeping promises at time of sale . :( When I got my Ford Sport Trac I told them there was a noise coming from breaks , I also told them sounds like they will run out pretty soon . Seller made a note and compromised to replace of that was the problem of the noise . I came to the shop , ( brakes are at 3mm already, point where it's recommended to replace ) still safe to drive but it's already recommended to replace . They simply didn't want to replace since noises are normal on all cars ( that's their excuse ) I got my car with the promise of a break replace if that was the motive of the noise . It was and to the point of being replaced Few words make sure you detail everything you get at the point of sale . If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. I want to warn anyone thinking about buying from Triple Crown Auto Sales -- don't do it. Save yourself the headache, the stress, and the thousands of dollars you'll lose dealing with this place. I bought a 2013 Audi Q7 from them on September 5, 2025. When I looked at the car, I pointed out that the oil change was overdue and that the gas gauge didn't read correctly. Their employees assured me they were salaried (so there's "no pressure") and said their service department could handle any issues we found. They agreed to fix the gas tank, so I trusted them. Big mistake. The first night we brought the car home, we found a massive oil leak--oil all over our driveway after one family trip. I called immediately. Their service department said they'd take care of it when fixing the gas tank and that they'd "make it right." That promise meant nothing. When they finally looked at it, they told me it needed $4,000 in repairs for the oil leak. They offered to "help" by knocking off $1,000--on a car I had literally just bought from them for $11,000. They knowingly sold me a vehicle with a major oil leak and then tried to spin it like I should be grateful they were "helping." When I spoke to the sales manager, he was rude, condescending, and completely unprofessional. He mocked me for not knowing how to inspect a used car and told me a story about his dad buying a lawnmower that broke the next day -- and how that was "just how life works." Comparing a broken lawnmower to an $11,000 vehicle purchase is insulting and absurd. He actually said to me: "What did you expect from a 12-year-old European car with 100,000 miles?" Here's what I expected: honesty, basic decency, and not to be sold a car with a catastrophic oil leak. The manager even admitted they only check safety things like brakes and lights before selling cars -- because that's all California requires. So yes, they'll sell you a car that leaks oil all over the road and driveway and call it "normal." I brought up the safety hazard of oil spilling everywhere, and he brushed it off like it was no big deal. Triple Crown Auto Sales clearly doesn't care about customers, families, or safety, only profit. I will never do business with them again, and I'll make sure everyone I know avoids them. Two friends were planning to buy their daughter's first car there after hearing what happened, they've changed their minds. This was a chance for them to stand behind what they sell and show integrity. Instead, they chose arrogance, excuses, and blame. If you're considering buying a car here don't. Every time I think of Triple Crown and the piece of junk of a car they sold me in March 2025 I get angry. The engine had to be replaced within 2 months of purchasing. We did get a portion of the money back after reporting them to the Automotive bureau of investigation and the better business bureau. I still lost money, time, energy which created a lot of frustration which I can't get back dealing with those grifters. They are all snakes, conmen, smooth talking liars selling less than standard vehicles. I wouldn't recommend Triple Crown to my worst enemy..save your money and time. I got my first car here and it went to 200k miles with minimal issues over the years. And that was such a good experience that when that car was starting to go, I decided to come right back to get my next car. They were so nice and helpful too, letting me test drive (probably too many) cars to find the right fit. They have great warranty options too. Then someone had stopped me on the road this morning to let me know brake lights didn't work (which I idiotically forgot to check when buying the car) and I stopped in and they fixed it for free in less than half an hour. **BUYER BEWARE, YOU WILL GET A LEMON** My daughter bought a car from Triple Crown Auto in October, 2024 and not even 1 week later, the transmission went out. She was given the run around with getting the transmission replaced with them, as she had a PRco warranty, however Triple Crown told my daughter that they had to bring the car back to them for the repairs. She was not given the option to bring her car to any other shop of her choice, otherwise she would have taken the car to get repaired at the manufacturer dealership. After the transmission was replaced, not even 2 weeks later she was having the same initial problems as she did in the beginning. She was told again, to have the car towed back to Triple Crown where they had the car for over 2 weeks. Ultimately, they told her they can't replicate the problem, so there was nothing for them to fix. Triple Crown Auto is horrible! I would not recommend anyone purchasing a vehicle from them EVER!!! read more

Upon arrival no one meet us outside I had to look for a salesman who after finding one looked bothered to help us. Zero customer service skills. My wife purchased a 2011 Lexus RX 450 H from this dealer. They charged her top KBB price. Both the inside front tires were shot, the tires on the back were out of date, the car needed an alignment Cost for new tires and alignment was $1100. They sold ithe Lexus to her without the second key fob, cost was $400. All the plastic clips in the engine compartment were missing which should've been a red flag as those are super inexpensive and easy to replace. We have been having electrical issues and pulled the battery out of the trunk and realized that the dealership had put a battery in half the size and placed it on a brake pad to raise the height of the battery up. The battery has a a brand new date code on it. Not only did it create electrical problems but also was a Heath hazard had the brake pad rubbed away the bottom of the battery. $150 For a new battery . I called the dealer after my wife bought it and asked them to give a credit for the tires or the key fob and they refused. I wish we would've found the battery out sooner as we would've never bought this vehicle from triple crown. They deserve three thumbs down read more

Although, they helped me with that... today I went to buy a new car from another dealership.. (I was going to trade mine in) only to find out that this car is basically salvaged. I was very disappointed with my recent visit to this dealership. We drove 2 hours to go here to buy a certain car and so when we got there we found the car we wanted but, the salesman didn't seem very interested in selling it to us. We blue booked the car and it was priced $100 over high blue book. I talked to the salesman about it and he told we go by blue book and the price is the price and that they have been doing that for over 25 years. No deals No haggling. I even explained to him that I would be happy to pay blue book price but not over blue book and not high blue book. I feel like they could have came down a little on their price even $500 and we probably would have drove away in the car but nope they would rather lose my business. Needed a car for teen daughter. Had looked and test driven a couple from private parties but still hadn't found the right one. A friend, my hair stylist, suggested Triple Crown Auto Sales in Folsom. She said she had purchased 3 cars from them and all had gone well. Worked with Brad. Purchased a used Toyota Corolla with just over 155k on it. I was not aware that Triple Crown does not negotiate price. The price they stick on it is what you pay. I paid about $700 more than I was hoping to based upon Blue Book and Edmunds.com research but the price was still within budget. Took car to dealer next day for service to start fresh since we did not know the history. Changed the spark plugs and did an oil change. They noted that the timing chain gasket was 'seeping'. I called Brad, sales person back, because even though we purchased 'as is' he said to let them know if anything was wrong because they want happy customers. Brad referred me to Chris in service. Made an appointment and took it back to Chris to check out. Not leaking and apparently 'seeping' is common in high vehicle cars. Dealer had noted it as a 'caution' item. Chris confirmed not in a condition where vehicle would lose fluids. Spoke with another trained mechanic friend who concurred and also did a bit of internet research to support the conclusion. Very happy they were willing to take a look at it even though sold 'as is'. I think it is a bonus that they have a service facility on site. Sales experience was smooth. Reason not 5 stars is because I think price was a little higher than should have been based upon research at Blue Book and Edmunds and because I didn't know no negotiating on price at all. That being said, still think overall fair deal and that the condition of the vehicle is good and their service was great. Appreciate willingness to take a look a mechanical issue discovered even when sold 'as is.' Easy process to purchase. The people made me feel valued as a customer. Came in here tonight with $5000 cash ready to buy a car.. For a car dealership they don't seem interested in selling you a car whatsoever. Guy told me they don't make commission so they don't negotiate. From the previous reviews it sounds like this is a common occurrence. They call it a "no pressure dealership" but the reality is that their employees just have no motivation to sell cars. Most likely because they don't make commission.. If these employee would've shown even the slightest amount of interest in selling me a car they'd have my money right now. You practically have to beg these people to let you buy a car. No pressure? I just got back from there about an hour ago. It was my first time at this location. And am looking to buy my first car. When we first got there it took a little while before someone came out to talk to us, which is fine cause i prefer to look around before having sales men pester you. My boyfriend and i went to look at a vw jetta for $6000. On kbb it says it should be worth about $5,400. My boyfriend test drove the car. The ac wasn't working and the tint on the back window was a poor job. The back window was hazy, which made it a bit difficult for me to see through it, if i were to purchase the car. Also, the car wasn't as clean on the inside as you would expect a car at dealership to be. There were leaves in the car and some in the seats, kinda like you would see from getting in out of the car during fall. We asked if he would come down on the price a bit, but the sales guy said that they had been in the business for 25yrs and don't haggle or anything and KBB is not up to date with it's information. I went here first since about 5 years ago my husband bought a car here and it went well, I now know it only went well because we happen to get one of the supervisors who we went to high school with so he was really nice to us. This time I got Alex, who was really short in his tone and rude. He also gave the line "we don't haggle because we have been in business for 25 years and this is how we have always done it" such BS! He basically jumped on me like a pit bull when I told him I had a trade in that may have a problem with the transmission, geez he needs to calm down! What used car dealership doesn't negotiate a fair price?? and how does being in business for 25 years answer the question as to why you do not negotiate? This concept is so ludicrous! I research massively anytime I make a big purchase and they are way above the high end quote for Kelly Blue book prices. If Kelly Blue book is so outdated according to Triple Crown, why do many of the other used car places use it? There is absolutely no urgency to sell cars at this place and they act like the customer is working for them. I went in at night and was ready to BUY a car, Alex rushed me along when filling out the credit app. and seemed bothered if I had a question and appeared to be irritated that I was moving "so slow". He was extremely rude! Another man came in ready to buy as well and was buying a more expensive vehicle and it was night and day the treatment that man got, I was rushed out so that they could attend to that customer, probably because he was buying a more expensive vehicle. Alex said he would be working at the folsom location all the next day and that was a lie! he was not. I waited till noon the next day for a call to see if my approval came through, I got no phone call. I ended up calling the Folsom dealership and Dan answered the phone. The bank we were waiting on had not approved yet so he asked me if he wanted me to run wells fargo, I said yes, he failed to tell me that that would put another hit on my credit! He said he would call back when he found out anything, he did not call back. I went into the dealership at 3:00 that afternoon to check in and Dan did not even stand up to greet me from behind the counter. He said that wells fargo did not approve the loan, so I guess when he found that out he just didn't bother or care to contact me (Wells Fargo is not the only bank in town) He did not even take the time to give me a reason, it may have been because the vehicle was such an old model 2002, sometimes that happens. I told him I have the ability to put a larger down payment and would that make a difference in getting approved, he quickly said "no". He said he could run it with other banks that would charge 25% interest, I said no way would I pay that or would I have to pay 25% interest! I do not know what planet he is from but yes it does make a difference to put a larger down payment, he just didn't want to deal with trying to get me financing and I make a really good salary and have a fair credit score. Dan was condescending and very rude! He really fits the mold of a sleazy used car salesman. I will NEVER be back to this place and I would recommend you stay far ,far away. The ending to this story is the very next day I worked on getting financing on my own online, got approved at an 8 percent interest rate,not great but not 25% interest DAN! It took me all of 10 minutes to get approved. I went to Hertz rental car sales in Roseville, and it was so easy! I highly recommend it, I bought my daughter a really nice Toyota Yaris with only 38, 000 miles on it. Hertz takes about 2-3000 dollars off of the kelly blue book price ( I checked and they really do) so they do not haggle but you are getting a really good deal and they actually give you a logical reason as to why they do not haggle. One of the salesmen even offered to beat the interest rate that I had been pre-approved for. The process was quick and easy and they were friendly. I did not know about the Hertz sales place, but I will be back andf you know since they are a large rental car company that the cars are well maintained and are up to standard on maintenance, etc. So there are way better places to go to , I recommend staying far away from Triple Crown Auto! Read the other reviews about how rude they are and re search vehicle prices, you will see that they are way over priced! Bought 2007 Nissan Titan a few weeks ago. Love truck!! The window on the drives side wouldn't roll up or down. The promised to fix it and did. Chris in the shop is very polite and goes the mile. Ok so about a week ago the AC goes out on my truck.. I call in and again Chris was very helpful. It's a used truck and we'll sh1t will happen. I called in right away and he was very accommodating. I bought a used Mercedes over two years ago that I loved! I sold it because it started having a problem that the Mercedes dealer could not figure out. That wasn't anyone's fault just a glitch! So I bought a 2007 Honda Pilot with 63,000 miles on it! I took it to my mechanic and he said I scored! That said the car started having issues! In 40 days time Chris...the mechanic, had to fix little maintenance issues 5 different times. I was not charged once! They gave me a loner car every single time! Now my car is like brand new! This company has shady business practices and I would advise you to avoid them, here is my story: I have my car for sale on Craigslist and on another website. Today(05/13/2010), I received a call from "Ryan" ( (916) 801-6046 ) a guy posing as a private buyer. He acted very interested in my car, but said he couldn't meet me at my location because he had to pick his kids up. However, he said he would be in Orangevale area and asked if I would meed him at Madison and Greenback. I said sure, I had no problem with that and I had no reason to think anything of it. I exchanged several phone calls with this guy and as I got near where we were suppose to meet, he calls and says he is running late. He asked me if I would drive across the street to Triple Crown Auto that Alex and Dan were expecting me... I said sure. At this time, I was not sure what to expect. I started to assume it was a scam, but I was thinking maybe these were his buddies...(ignorance on my part) I pulled up and I ask for Alex or Dan; however, they were both busy, so another guy named Colby comes out takes a look at my car. He runs the VIN and says, "give me your keys, I need to take it for a test drive". He takes off in my car, leaving me standing in the parking lot not knowing what is going on. While he is gone, I call "Ryan" and he says, "I am on my way, Alex will take care of you until I get there". While Colby was on the test drive, I went inside to Triple Crown's office and waited for a few minutes, no one acknowledge me and more less ignored me. At this point, I figured out there was no Ryan and I should have just left. However, I figured I had already invested an hour of time and gas, so waited and see what they offer. 30 minutes after getting there, Alex finally says something to and says he just got off the phone with the owner; he is low balling you at $2,500, but if you drive to the other dealership in Roseville, the owner is there. When he sees how clean your car is he will give you at least another $500, maybe even $1,000... This place is just shady. Furthermore, the sales representatives were dressed unprofessionaly, wearing saggy Dickies and Chuck Taylor Converse... I suggest you stay away. read more

Another time I wish I could give a company zero stars. The staff seemed friendly and helpful when I bought my car but it turns out they are extremely shady and downright rude. I spent over a year paying off the balance of my loan and then found out my plates and VIN did not match. I ended up replacing my rear axle and was told (by my mechanic) the axle was not original to the car. I looked it up and he is right. The CarFax Triple Crown gave me says the car had never been in an accident or had any damage, so why would it have the wrong axle? It has been an ongoing battle to fix this. They insist it is my fault and refuse to answer my questions or respond to my Better Business Bureau inquiry. They refuse to respond to all BBB inquiries. They are also operating without an occupational license from the DMV. read more

Purchased a used Acura MDX from this dealership in Folsom. I also purchased a 3 year extended warranty on the vehicle that was offered through a third party provider, at the dealership. The car started showing signs of a problem after purchase. I took it to two different mechanics and was told by both, with pictures and video of the issue, that the engine had carbon build-up in it, and that the car needed a new engine, it was having internal engine failure. I contacted the warranty company and one of the few exclusions on the policy is carbon build-up, so the new engine is not covered under the warranty I purchased. As a used car dealership, asking a premium for their vehicles, they should have had the car thoroughly inspected by a reputable mechanic prior to advertising it for sale, and this could have been caught. Or they were aware of the issue, and sold the car despite that. Either way they do not thoroughly evaluate their vehicles prior to listing for sale. I would suggest, if you want to buy a car from here, to take it to your own mechanic and have them check the entire car from top to bottom. read more

i spoke to someone over the phone about an AD i saw on autotrader.com And they said they had the car but when i went over there to see it. The car was no where in site. They didnt know where the car was and they were not even sympathetic. Bad Customer service and they tried to sell me another car. I wonder how can you not find the "CAR?" do not buy any cars from them. read more

I had the worst car experience when dealing with this dealership. The salesman I was dealing with was very rude & sold me a car that had nothing but problems, I even overpaid for the vehicle. They should not be in business in my opinion. I would never buy a car from them again. read more

I got a 2009 Nissan Cube from this rip off lot , it had transmission issues and they said , bring it back we will fix it , they had it for 2 weeks and they said they fixed it and guess what ? not fixed , so I returned the car and they gave me my down payment back , but they never paid the bank so I'm 46 days late and my credit is being affected and the current owner has gotten multiple bay bridge tickets and it is still registered to me ??? ... the worst dealership that I have ever dealt .. stay away .... save yourself the headache ... they don't care about their customers ..... read more
