I thought this is odd seeing as I am within a private lot. I was like hmm maybe i forgot to take this off prior, then I look around me and every other car his this cheap flyer on all the cars. The funny thing is our garage does not even offer this service so what is going on here. Well you see the parking garage next door has this service, I have seen the banner a few times but did not think anything off it. Turns out they sent somebody over to the next door garage to plaster every car with this annoying ad. Lucky I did not have to walk that far to throw it in the trash. Funny thing is when I get back to my office I have a few people stop by complaining about the same damn flyer! Well just about everybody is annoyed with this flyer. I work long hours and don't want to come out of the office and deal with somebody tagging my car with papers. Yes my car might be dirty, yes it might have bird poop from parking under a tree, perhaps there is some left over dust from construction but i will take care of it on my own time. Don't jam your flyer into my window now making dust smudge marks cause Noooow I do have to wash my car, the dust is not all uniform anymore. ...... Side not, I actually wash all my own cars anyway... I had my car washed in my office [benefits team organized the car wash for our convenience] using "exterior only service" by the crew and they had not removed/washed off specs of insects off my hood. When I pointed out to those, they said that this package does not presume they will rub them off. I would need a "full clean package" to get that work done. If I run my car in the car wash biggest specs get removed for sure. Hand wash should be a step from there, right? Also, the bottom part of my car - front bumper have been dirty with smudge and soap and the crew was very slow and apprehensive to finish the work. Also they were 30 min late and I was rushing to get my kid at daycare. Bad experience. Just saying - the quality can be improved... i asked our benefits department that they switch the provider. read more

Couldn't be more disappointed in this company's professionalism and service. I confirmed an 830am appointment, where my car was to be picked up from a designated garage, cleaned, and returned by the time I got home from work. When I returned home, I had an uncleaned car and was out $35 because I had to pay to park my car in the garage for the day. Save your money and sanity. Find a different service provider. read more

I recently found out that Car Care comes to my work location on a regular basis, so I figured I would give them a try. They explained the various services that were available and gave me a bottom line quote for what I wanted done. Among other things, I had the interior detailed. Having neglected the interior of my SUV for several years (rugs and upholstery), I was unsure of how much they could do. Boy was I surprised when I got my car back. Just redeemed my Eversave voucher at the Longfellow Garage. With my voucher expiring within a few days, I was glad I could get an appt on short notice. They were supposed to call me the day of the appt to confirm someone would be there to service my car, but they didn't call, so I had to call them. Minor inconvenience, but everything ended up working out. Yes, it's a little weird/inconvenient going to the bottom of a parking garage, but for $49, I'll take it. My car came out nice and clean, though I suppose it wasn't that dirty to start with. Just a word of caution--in this garage there are bars that hang down from the ceiling less than 6 feet high on the floor where they clean your car. If you're over 5' 7" you have to duck while walking around down there. Seriously, who designs a garage like that? read more

The guys over at 800 Technology Sq Cambridge went above and beyond my expectations! I had a nasty etching/stain down the side of my car and they were able to get it out and leave my car looking spotless. The service they provided beat any detail service i'd had in the past. Today I went to the Car Care located in the 4 Emerson Garage in the West Side of Boston I had purchases a Living Social deal back in January and desperately needed my car detailed! My car was beyond filthy- with paw prints and fur from my 2 dogs (one being a German Shepard that sheds A TON!!!) My car came out squeaky clean and I feel like I am driving a brand new car again! Chris who did the detailing at this location was extremely kind to me and went above and beyond in his service. I also was able to meet the owner Kevin. Kevin personally spoke to me and was very thorough and friendly. I am happy with my service and will be returning when the need arises again (which it will quickly with these pups!) read more

I just got my car detailed from Lance at cambridgepark drive while I was at work. They show up to my garage every Wednesday and I decided to give them a try. I have to say he did an amazing job! It wasn't just the quality of the work they performed but the professionalism he portrayed and the attention detail when performing his duties. My car is black so you know that everything shows up on that car and when I came back to see it, it looked like it just came out of the dealership! I scheduled an interior/exterior cleaning using a LivingSocial coupon at the Emerson garage. I had appts at MGH so it was conveniently located right across the street. Bismuth was my service person and did a great job, very cheerful and accommodating. I had seen signs previously that indicated parking was paid for if you were getting CarCare services. It turns out that deal is not presently active. Having my car parked in the garage for 3-4 hrs would have cost me $30 which I wasn't counting on (patient parking at MGH is just $10) Bismuth was very helpful in getting the parking fee waived which I must say helped with the tip!! I took advantage of a Boston Deal's discount to try out Car Care. Let's start with the fact that my 1999 Mercedes Wagon has seen better days as it's never been garaged and my 150lb, long-haired dog travels everywhere with me. Suffice it to say there was dust, dog hair and years of grime (including dog slobber on the window sills and door panels - inside and out) that my weak attempts at the car wash rarely even put a dent in. The Car Care folks did an incredible job! They did a complete interior detailing, leather treatment, carpet shampoo and a hand-wash and wax. The car hasn't looked this good in many years! I've bought a voucher from Livingsocial to get my car detailed. Once I had the time, I called and schedule an appointment, the person who answered the phone was cordial and gave me the address to which location I should go to. I had decided to read the reviews for this place before I go in and I confess I got a little worried of what would be my opinion about it. The day I got my car there I was welcomed by Bismal which was very nice and cordial throughout the whole time. He explained what would be done, told me where I go stay to wait for the service (went to starbucks on cambridge st). When I came back my car looked like new!!! I couldn't believe it, it was super clean, smelling really good and the best I paid a really good price for all of it. WORST CAR EXPERIENCE EVER. I wish I could show you the pictures that I sent to their customer service after I got my car detailed. It looked like all they did was vacuum and spray the outside with water. I got one of those deals for a 99 dollar cleaning. This includes a car wax. OK. definitely did not get a wax. They didn't even touch the cupholders. and vacuum underneath the seats? NOPE. Now tell me. Aren't these the three main reasons why we get our cars detailed?! If i wanted a quick vac and my car sprayed down, I'd do it myself. I tried to talk to customer service about it -- and all I have gotten is miserable people who don't give a crap about what kind of service you got. They just tell me to go back and get my cupholders cleaned. what they don't understand is it was the WHOLE DAMN DETAILING that was crap. Nevermind that but I don't trust my car getting detailed there again because it is the bottom floor of a parking garage and who knows what they will do to it after my complaining? On top of it all -- you have to pay the parking garage for however long your car is there being cleaned. So on top of the money I paid for a crappy car detailing -- I had to pay for my car to sit there for 2 hours, which in boston is another 10 dollars. TOTALLY NOT WORTH IT. read more

Sent an email to make an appt for the following day AND called the owner. Got a confirmation for an Exterior detail.. Showed up at 7AM (the time the workers were supposed to be there) Workers didn't show until 8:30 (traffic was the excuse) I made it somehow. I was the first and only car there. They took my keys and info and said 1 hour or so. Came back two hours later car had not moved and 5 other cars had been serviced. Called the owner, Told him I was dissapointed. He said he would calll and get my car in immediately and he would do the interior for free. Came back 3 hours later and the car had not had it's wheel brite done. Saw the interior was not done either but the workers said it was DONE. Paid my 75$ and left a meessage for the owner on his cell phone. Considering calling the BBB. VERY Dissappointing read more

Sam did a fantastic job on my mid-size SUV at the Emerson Place location (MGH). He got a year's worth of sand, dirt, kid stains and other residue out of extremely hard to clean surfaces. His communication was great as well. I highly recommend him and Mobile Car Detail and will be back again after beach season next year. read more

Today I took my 10yr old car for my traditional spring cleaning. I got the group on deal, it included a Wash,wax,vac,shampoo,tires & glass. I also asked if they can do what they can to get some stains out of the back seat. my kids drinks don't always make it in there mouths. The guys there where easy to talk to as I told them what I wanted done & they gave me a detailed explanation on what kind of chemicals they where going to use on the inside of my car & the process of waxing the outside of the car. I also asked if they can do anything about my rims that where pretty bad. When I came back few hours later to pick up the car. right away I was surprised how different the outside of the car looked as they did a great job restoring my rims. the inside looked better then I could imagine, as you couldn't tell that kids spent any time in the back seat. over all I was satisfied with the work & costumer service that was provided. the one draw back was the actual parking garage its old & crammed from all the cars that where parked. read more

Twice I set up a specific appointment time to get my car washed. Twice no one was there to receive the car. Complete waste of time and the people who answer the phone are useless. The guy said he would call me back when he found someone to wash the car. No one called back but there was a note on my car when I went back at the end of the day to retrieve it asking me to call them! Terrible business. read more

I purchased a BuyWithMe voucher to have my car detailed. An email address was provided, so I tried to schedule via that route first - no response. A couple of months later (before it expired), I reluctantly had to take the vehicle in on a Saturday to the Longfellow Place location. I expected it to be busy, but had an appointment. I called about 5 hours after dropping it off and was told it was next in queue. Finally got my car back after 8 hours! I could have forgiven the inconvenience if I'd remotely gotten what I paid for ($20 extra for SUV, no less). The service is located in a parking garage; my car was parked in a particularly dark area when I arrived and everyone was packing it in for the day. When I reached daylight, I was beyond disappointed to discover that what took them 8 hours might have taken me 2 and I'd have done a better job! The interior received a very poor vacuum job, half-assed surface wipe down, and was left with very streaky windshield. The exterior was fine, I guess, with the exception of wax streaked across the windshield. I thought this might be a convenient place to return as it's adjacent to my dentist, but I will never give them more business and want to ensure that others avoid the headache and rip-off. Apparently, they cater to the members of local sports teams who live in the building, so the rest of us peons must receive shabby service. read more

After spending a bunch of weeks in the woods this summer i decided to do the $99 car detail deal. I dropped my car off at 8am on a friday as they requested, and no one was able to give me any sense of how long this process would take. I clearly asked many times that they call me as soon as the car was done. SIX HOURS later, no call. After hassling with them I was told that they had "texted the guys to see if it was done". Five minutes later I got a call saying they were done and leaving for the day so they were going to leave my car UNLOCKED IN A PUBLIC LOT in downtown Boston!!! I rushed to get back to the lot to find a job that I could have done myself at a gas station vacuum kiosk. Pathetic. Piles of dirt in between the seats, in the door handles, smears of mud still on the interior doors, white specks of exterior cleaner on the windshield, PATHETIC. When i called the man who answered threateningly told me they were only human, and that he would "come meet me right now". Yeah right i'm going to meet some shady angry sounding guy alone. I asked for a refund, and he refused. NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE, TERRIBLE ALL AROUND and they will steal your money. read more

I used an offer from Living Social. Found that the best way to arrange the appointment was to email Kevin; the address is Car.Care@rcn.com. Kevin was very responsive, including on a weekend, and I was able to arrange to take my car to one of their parking garage locations, in this case, 4 Emerson Place near Mass General. The garage has excellent signage which directs you toward their P2 location, and the Car Care team met me with open arms. They were very welcoming, we agreed on the services needed, and the car was ready when they said it would be, roughly 90 minutes after I arrived. At one point they even let me use their office desk and chair while I worked on emails (and yes, there's no cell service from their wash area, so I used the garage elevator to go up to ground level to reconnect with my cell service periodically). My Prius is 99% clean and beautiful as a result of their good work; only when I got to the daylight did I find a few areas they missed, and if I had returned, no doubt they would have fixed them, but it was my choice to not do so this time. Otherwise, I'd rate them at 5 Stars, and I will definitely return. read more
