They are efficient and my car was washed very thoroughly with lots of bird shit and snow. For $3 more, you also can get the interior clean and vacuum. Overall, the soap water initially was using a pressure spray and water was washed by a water hose (lower pressure). But it was gentler than the machines. They ensure to clean the top of my SUV as well which is nice. The interior windows are also cleaned up so I love that small detail. Total price for a SUV (exterior and interior) cost $35 and I gave tips as extra. They take CASH only. Will come back.

I was a little confused at first about where to find this place -- it's located in P2 of the parking garage at 131 Dartmouth. You have to get a parking ticket but he validates it for $5 for 4 hours (usually it's $11 for just 1 hour) - now that I know that, next time I'll try to take advantage of it on a day where I can spend a few hours in the Back Bay. As far as I could tell there is just one guy working here so it's probably a good idea to call ahead or plan to spend at least an hour or so in the area. The guy was really friendly and clearly takes pride in doing a job well done. I don't think you can find someplace cheaper than this, and the quality was as good or better as places where I've paid quite a bit more.

The PPF work was subcontracted out, and the quality was poor. On my Range Rover, the film around the rear tailgate was left with a wide, unwrapped edge and an exposed seam that started lifting and trapping dirt within a few weeks. This is a straightforward area to wrap, and it contradicts what I was told before booking -- that edges would be hand-cut and wrapped with no exposed seams as much as possible. When I asked for a repair, the owner Rogelio's answers kept shifting: first that the shop no longer works with the subcontractor, then that some parts "can't be wrapped," then an offer to just add more ceramic coating on the edges. Only after I mentioned I might leave a review did the owner offer to have the panels redone -- and framed it as costing him $1,500 to make me happy, as if a defective install was a favor. The part that ended the relationship for me: when I couldn't find my XPEL warranty confirmation (it turned out to be in my spam folder though I doubt I can utilize this warranty ever), the owner proposed issuing me a Lumen warranty for film that was actually XPEL -- in other words, a warranty from a different brand than what was installed and paid for! I told him I don't want to be sued, and he says they will never be able to figure out. I declined. Whatever the intent, I'm not comfortable with a shop that would suggest that, and I will take my car elsewhere for the repair, having learned my lesson.

They did make a mess of a parking lot, as what happens when you do that type of thing, but my neighbors started crying because the dirty water was running on to the freshly painted lines. I let them know and the guy turned around and came back and did a spray down of the entire dirty area in the parking lot right away. My only recommendation is if you get a mobile detailing, just put your car in a spot where the nearby area can get dirty for a bit until it rains so your neighbors don't also cry :) I probably should have parked at the very end of the lot, so it's more my mistake than theirs, but they took care of it right away.

The self wash is the better value, but I found that some of the self-service bays leave faint scratches on my car so I usually stick with the no touch. But the last few washes haven't been great. $22 bucks for a wash and the top of my car is still dirty. I probably won't use them again.

FYI, the undercarriage wash starts right away, so be sure to drive in slower to get a better clean. Rest of my wash went well. After the wash, I took a look at the car and it seems the top of the back window area was still a little dirty from suds. I did also attach a photo from the roof of the car, which looks absolutely pristine and ultra reflective. I went in with a pretty dirty car that had dust all over, old water stains on the roof, and some streaks of mud/dirt on the doors. Save for that spot on the top of the back window, everything else looks very clean and I'm pretty satisfied, especially knowing the bottom of my car got a decent cleaning from the salt during the winter months. I'll be back again.

When we dropped it off, i tried to explain how the front license plate frame attached to the bumper and they stopped me and said "oh we deal with these all the time." When I picked it up, it was on incorrectly, and I'm glad it didn't fall off because it wasn't properly installed. In the end, they fixed what was requested, but I still question the attention to detail. Not consistent.
