The bartop was jam-packed, as was the indoor seating, so we opted for an outdoor table. We were politely greeted by our server Kate, who was friendly and professional. Her wine service skills were impeccable while uncorking a bottle of Rose'. I had the Friday Fish Fry Perch and the GF had seared Ahi Blackened Tuna app. The Perch was great, and the Ahi was good also although we expected it to be more on the rare side. We enjoyed our outdoor dining event as the Midwest Summer weather was perfect!

Consistently busy over the years and for good reason. I've been here a few times and I've never been disappointed with the service or the food. It's a dark, cozy little restaurant bar but with so much character and history. Service is friendly and efficient. I love that the food I've ordered here has always exceeded my expectations with the seasonings and quality of ingredients used. Reasonably priced too! If you don't have a reservation, you may end up waiting for a table in the back area at a high top but it's a great opportunity to enjoy one of their great drinks in the meantime!

It was absolutely massive, loaded with cheese, ridiculously rich, and every bite was delicious. The cheesy bacon cracks were downright obscene in the best possible way. Pure indulgence. Great food, great drinks, fair prices, and portions that don't mess around. You definitely won't leave here hungry.

It is a ln old school, classic vibe. I enjoyed all the sports decor and memorabilia on the walls. Right off the bat, one of the things that stood out to me was how incredibly affordable this place was! Looking at the prices, I was surprised that you could get a burger here for around twelve bucks including fries. That's like fast food prices. Most restaurants charge way more than that and don't include fries, so this place is an amazing bargain! We got their cheese balls, which were cheese curds. These were not bad. I do prefer a more beer battered curd, but I didn't mind these. I also got a bacon cheeseburger called The Loser. In reality, it tastes like a winner. The bread bun is amazing, so soft and fresh. The burger is juicy and flavorful. It's also not too crazy big where all the toppings fall apart. The fries were also crispy and tasty. Our server was also very kind and attentive. She gave us sugar cookies at the end of our meal, which was a nice treat. Overall, I enjoyed coming here. I would come here again to catch a game and enjoy a drink and some bites. You get a decent burger that is also a good bang for your buck.

Well, because it's not! Inside the place was hopping with a nice crowd of people. Still was able to get in and seated immediately. Place decorated for 4th of July and wasn't gaudy but fun. Lots of wood and you can sit at the bar if you want. Nice selection on the menu but since it was Friday we ordered the fish. Hubs had the fried cod and I had the baked. Portions totally filled your plate and were very good. Fried cod came with lots of fries which Hubs said were tasty and the baked cod came out served with rice and vegetables. Cole Slaw wasn't good but that seemed the only real issue. For some reason they served a slice of marbled rye with the fried fish but I don't think that's necessary. Prices for fish were really good and I think if you had gone to a higher end restaurant you would have paid around $10 more for the same dish. Overall a good experience and I'd come back again if we're in the area.

My family was flying back home on a Friday night and I had to pick them up from the airport in Milwaukee, so I needed dinner somewhere nearby. Final Approach has an all you can eat beer battered cod special on Friday nights, so that was my choice. I went with potato pancakes for the side. Both the potato pancakes and beer battered cod were fine. I've had better versions of both elsewhere. For an all you can eat option, though, it was more than adequate, especially by the airport as it would be busy enough without the AYCE option. Likely I'll try somewhere else if I find myself in the area on Friday night again.
