Good turned bad. The food was not the problem. The problem was when a big Waterbug crawled on the wall coming down on the table. Cashier said exterminator just left 1st lie. I took some of my portion. Returned and spoke to the owner and help. Told to bring my portion for 1/2 refund. I explained the entire story about the bug. Owner said night time extermination. Renigged on the refund and gave another non-chalant apology. I said be aware I will be calling the health department to come. Should made it fair after the incident about the 1/2 food refund. Gave no resolve only a cheap apology. When you are in the mist of eating and look up and see a bug coming at you. How can you act so non-chalant about this. Health Department called and a customer just left asking what occurred. I shared. This is to say word of mouth works. This place has some amazing service. We sat inside and they were just over the top nice. The walls have all sorts of decor. I haven't had Captn Ds since i was a kid but it lived up to the memory. We had fish, spicy fish, shrimp, okra, corn and fries. Everything was delicious. The fries were ok and the mac and cheese was fuming hot, almost unedible for like 15 mins. As a kid I used to love getting Captain D's on the weekends. The fried fish is still my favorite. So I saw this place on the map and had to stop in. This location looks clean upon entering. The food was good and I like how they still offer tartar sauce. But the wait is a long wait. Maybe worth it for the comfort food and that it was on a weekend. But harder to be here during the weekdays when you're in a hurry. read more

Ok I'm not going to lie....I watched numerous reviews of the lobster rolls and I ended up here. The lobster rolls for $3.49 was worth it for the bread itself. Obviously it's not real lobster. But the bread is sooooo good. The rolls are tiny. It can fit on the palm of your hand. This particular one, I wait at the drive thru for about ten minutes. Inside dining room needs cleaning floors look like they never been mopped. We waited 25 minutes for our order.

On a Sunday afternoon, not crowed, clean and service was good. The food was fresh, hot and good. I didn't care for the fried pickles. They were oily and not sure what they were fried in meal or flour but they were white and not gold brown. Everything else was good though. Make sure if you tap to pay, only tap once because the machine was saying not accepted but it actually was, and I had 3 withdrawals for one meal, shaking my whole head. Asked for a military discount and got 10cents off 2.99 but not the entire 18 dollar meal. SMWH. Atmosphere was quiet. read more

Came through tonight and blonde head girl was amazing and excellent at her job she was running drive thru and front of house by her self .. She was great she took our order and had a great attitude and a pretty smile .. she's good at her job she's really a keeper she made the trip because last time we came at night the other older woman had a nasty attitude but blonde headed girl really made us have a great time and the food was good and hot!! Paid a visit to this location tonight. After waiting over 10 minutes in the drive through we received sub par food. Our chicken was hard and flavorless. As we waited we watched the drive through attendant slump over and play on her phone. We watched another worker clean a pan about as fast as a snail going through glue. They didn't check on us at all during this time. I remember a light and crispy breading that all the chicken and fish had. Super yummy. Sadly, Long John's has ya beat. I placed an order through DoorDash. This is the second time I have place an order for delivery and did not get what we ordered and paid for. The employe who answered the phone was very rude to start with, blaming it on the delivery driver, but they did not bag up the food, the employees did! I asked, just to make sure, that the missing item was ordered, it was, the employee admitted he did not put the item in the bag. As I was trying to ask another question the female employee got very loud with me and I asked if they were going to get written up for not doing their jobs, wow she got even louder, I hung up. Their food is good, no doubt! But be careful when you order the food, they are very clever as to sneak more into it to raise the cost of your food. They will ask you if you want some extra butterfly shrimp which cost more. Just say no thank you. And ask for water, not soda or drinks, they cost too much. read more

I went here this evening and I was so excited because everyone hyped up this place. At first, we were going to the drive-through so I looked at the menu online and decided I was going to get the grilled shrimp salad. Afterward, we just decided to go inside, so I go inside and the meal wasn't even on the menu so I wasn't sure if I should order the grilled shrimp salad. Anyways nothing else looked that appetizing so I just ended up getting the grilled shrimp salad because I asked the lady did she have it and she said yes. I received my food and went back to my house. I opened the plate and the shrimps were stuck together on wooden sticks, not mixed in with the salad and they didn't even look cooked. They just honestly looked like they were each flipped over the grill once or twice. Then my bread was alright but not worth it. I could go to the supermarket and get way better bread. Then my salad was hot and soggy. At that point, I was just angry because my meal was a disaster. But at first, I calmed down and tried to give them the benefit of the doubt by trying their food.
