Hey I usually enjoy my visits to Wendy's be I love their sandwiches for breakfast and dinner but today was an experience I don't think I could ever forget. I ordered a sausage and egg with cheese croissant and proceeded to the drive thru. I thought I misunderstood the total amount I was being charged and thought that she gave me back too much in change. When I asked I was told that there was a special price for the sandwich I ordered which was a pleasant surprise. But after I took my second bite and about choked to death I realized something was wring. The egg appeared to be wrapped in plastic and I bit right thru it and about swallowed was I was chewing on. I took pictures and hope this site allows me to share them. Has anyone else ever seen this before. Well there goes another place I can depend upon for a good meal. Every time I come to this Wendy's they are closed/not open yet. Wasting my time and gas to come to a place of business that's supposed to be open at 6:30am is getting tedious, it's after 7am and yet again they weren't ready to open. I just realized that this review was never posted so I am doing it now because trust me... nothing has really changed at this store since then. This store is still partially operating in the "we can't get enough people to work to open the dining room full time" so sometimes it is open and sometimes it is drive-thru only (which means a really LONG wait in line). Anyway when I wrote this review a couple months ago, I had ordered inside because the drive-thru line was so long and it always takes way too long to get your food. Even though it looked like they had 8-10 employees in the back... the lobby was a mess! You couldn't even reach the tea dispenser without stepping into about 1/2 inch of sticky water mixed with a red liquid (probably Hi-C). I don't think the drink machines had been cleaned in days!! When I got close, you could actually smell the soured smell of the overflow tray in the drain part of both machines and you could even see the disgusting accumulation through the grates. A customer complained about the floor liquid preventing him from reaching the tea because he would track it back into his car... the manager told him "we are doing the best we can, its only water"! Last time I checked, water is not red. After that customer left, the manager was telling the others in line... "there has always got to be somebody that complains about everything". I have tried on numerous occasions to contact the corporate office to hopefully reach the franchise owner aboit different issues but this is one place that you won't reach anyone! I guess corp or the owner doesn't really want to hear feedback issues. Oh well, food places are getting fewer as you stop off in Lumberton. I gave Wendy's (multiple locations) a shot and they have messed up my order almost every single time. I ordered a taco salad and they gave me satine crackers instead of taco chips. Ordered a Caesar salad the previous day and they did not even put dressing or give me dressing for the Caesar salad... Oh! And they gave me a SPOON to eat my salad with, NOT EVEN A DANG FORK!! Yesterday, I ordered the deluxe hamburger with no cheese from the value menu for a late lunch at 4pm. I added sliced apples as a side from the menu. My meal was about $2.55. As I drove off, I saw cheese on my sandwich but luckily it didn't melt right away so i peeled it off. The apple's skin was tough. It wasn't bad for a meal under 300 calories. read more

I would not order anything here. i went in the bathroom first. Both stalls lacked locks with signs to knock first printed, laminated, and stuck on each door. TP dispenser was hanging by one bolt. Likewise the soap dispenser at the sink. Paper litter everywhere. My choice to not risk ordering was confirmed as I walked out with my feet sticking to the floor at each step. Wish I could give it 0 stars. This place has the Slowest workers I've ever seen. Sat in the drive through line (at 3pm and not a busy time) for 25 mins. We finally get to the window and sat there for 10 before the person was ready to take our order. We pull up and no one else is in the line. Sit at the window for another 10 mins waiting on our order. Never once did anyone say sorry or anything. They were just like " here's your shit now go away" type attitude. These are the same workers that demand $15 a hour? Lol for what? They had a full staff as well (1 was outside smoking and one was going back to his car for his phone) during the time we sat there. After a long wait, was given half of my order. When my wife reminded the staff that this was only half, she said "I know." After looking at each other for a few minutes, my wife repeated what was ordered. After this, I suppose a light bulb went off and the staff realized that there was more to the order. I visited this store after 11:00 on Saturday nite and was charged over $9 for a double stack and a double with two cups of free water. I can get this same meal at at any Wendy's for around $7. Why the differences in the price? Not only was there a price difference but the person at the window was a troll! I have never come across a more disagreeable person in public service. The emphasis should be placed on service. With the closest to I95, one would think management would have their warmest, most competent staff to serve the public. Shame on you Wendy's! Very nice sandwich. Had the new Chicken Pub sandwich on the pretzel bun. Very nicely cooked and tasted wonderful. Side note: please put half as much sauce on there. Efficient service. Order was completed as expected. We had a special circumstance where our 4-year-old had brought his toy compass into the restaurant and then inadvertently left it at the Wendy's. We didn't realize that it was gone until we were several miles down the road. We aren't from Lumberton and we were just driving through. We called to ask if they had seen it. They had not. Then a few minutes later, they called us back and agreed to hold it for us until we returned two days later. When we returned, they were super nice and got it back to our son. This place has the rudest employees i have ever encountered! They advertised all over their windows and their menu board that small frosties were .50. I waited in that line that was wrappez around the building and then when i got to the intercom they told me to hold on. So i did. When ahe finally came back she mumbled some stuff that i couldnt understand so i proceeded to place my order. 5 small chocolate frosties. She said we are out of frosty mix and i asked dont you think you ahould put a sign on the window stating that you are out before people wait in line for nothing? Anothet lady got on and says its against company policy to pull the sign down cause it is their promotion. I didnt tell them to take it down. I told them to put a sign up saying they were out right now. She says that all wendys are out and that that was the first thing she said to me. I wasn't thoug.
