It's a sub place. I do like the different choices. I haven't tried Jersey Mikes just subway and Pleasant Pizza. So I don't really have much to compare to. But I would recommend and go back. I wish they had more than chips for side. I love to eat read more

Heard about this 16 hour slow cooked brisket sub on a CORNBREAD roll over the radio and of course couldnt resist stopping by and checking it out. Heading back home to Richmond, VA from Tampa, FL I was pretty hungry so I was concerned my hunger would be eating this sub. But it hit the right notes. Unfortunately I didn't get much corn from the roll hence the 4. If that bread would have tasted more like a cornbread then I would have totally given them a 5. On a different note... the staff was amazingly friendly. They greeted me all 6 of them the moment I opened the door and all 6 of them said bye have a nice day. That was a nice touch. read more

Everyone is still in training but the service was decent enough. The sauce bottles are up toward the front than on the sideline. I'm glad we have a good amount of seating here. I look forward to trying some new besides my favorite Italian sub. I would advise you to eat in because the sandwiches taste sort of chewy the longer it's wrapped up. TRASH!!! I ordered a large Italian sub & a medium "club on a sub" combo (both fully dressed) w/Mac & cheese. My first red flag was them forgetting to give me the Mac & cheese (which wasn't worth it). I should've thoroughly checked each sandwich before I made it home because what I DID NOT get was my "club on a sub"... Instead, I received 2 pieces of bread w/ham & cheese in the middle, that's it! The Italian was fully dressed but was lackluster both in taste & presentation. This location will definitely be a one-time visit & I was too busy to turn around for a refund. Had a huge catering order (somewhat last minute) - the staff, especially the manager, were amazing, helpful, got everything ready on time and even helped me load it into the car! Taste was as expected, but it's hard to enjoy a meal when you had so much time stolen from your evening. Restaurant was not well stocked with paper/plasticware either. I was driving back from Georgia with my dogs on a hot afternoon and decided to stop in for a bite and to rest. My boyfriend and I decided to eat outside and sat the dogs outside with us. An employee saw and offered me a large cup of water to give my dogs. I appreciate that gesture because it looked as though she was on her break but took the time to provide my babies with cold water. This is a franchise restaurant, so there isn't a lot of ways for them to stand out. We got welcomed to Firehouse and had our order taken. It was after lunch time, so there wasn't a crowd. It took 20 minutes or so for our food to come out which is a long time when you're hungry, but not too out of bounds. All in all a good meal on the road. read more

It's just okay. When you are traveling and there are only the "usual" fast food spots, this is a nice "healthier" break from the norm. Not my go-to spot for sammies but it will get the job done. I do appreciate they have the under 500 cal sandwiches now. I got the hook and ladder and I do love the dressing they put on it. Have to be in the mood for a hot sub tho. We ate at Lumberton Firehouse Subs on our way North on 95 - we arrived at 6:30 pm and it was moderately busy. We were greeted by the counter staff when we entered. The young woman who took our order was friendly and efficient. Our order was ready quickly and was brought to our table by yet another friendly young woman. The young woman who had tKen our order stopped by to ask if everything was all right - surprising for a fast food establishment. The sandwiches were, as we assumed they would be, delicious. The store was clean. Quite frankly, I dont understand the negative reviews. This was a welcome break in a long day. We'll be back on our way home! read more

I fucking love this subs man. 6 inch, 12 inch...3 inch, don't make a shit, I want it. And man when I cum here, I get it. Love the excess meat they always provide me with. Dark and Light meat options are always available, I'm a fan of the meat being hot, but in the end...it's up to you. I only had to cum once to know that I'll cum back for more. Even though this is a fast food chain you would still anticipate decent, friendly service. Not so much the case here when I recently popped in on a cross-country road adventure with a friend of mine. To be fair, the food was good - every bit the quality you'd expect from Firehouse. In my opinion, it's one of the better "sub" shops, and you pretty much know what you're going to get. On this visit I ordered a club with some chips. The employees, though, were pretty much duds and not at all friendly - kinda turned me off. This store is pretty much in the middle of nowhere, though, so I'd imagine if I lived and worked here, I'd probably not be too happy about it either. If I ever made the same trip again and needed to stop for a little sustenance, I would opt to not go here based on the service alone. Too bad.... read more

Unbelievable. I waited 27 minutes for a medium sub. The restaurant was not busy at all. I was excited about the sweet tea--that i absolutely love. went to take a sip of my sweet tea and it was unsweetened. I told the lady working cashier and she just shrugged it off. Not to mention the restaurant was completely dirty. Manager on duty did not come out to apologize about the wait or clear up anything about what was happening. There was a mother with a little boy who have been waiting for 35 minutes. Completely irresponsible of the manager. After such a long wait I managed to get a refund without my food. Terrible attitude. Placed order with app. Despite my email confirmation there was according to manager no record of my order when I arrived to pick it up. Further his attitude despite seeing my email was it must be my fault. While he kept saying the order didn't come through another employee handed him the order slip from their printer. This location (Lumberton,NC) is a sorry excuse for a FireHouse Subs! The manager stayed on his personal cell phone throughout our whole visit. I ordered an Italian sub with no Italian seasoning and added peppers. But I'm assuming since he was so busy with his conversation, he couldn't be bothered to get my order right, then disappeared for 15 minutes so the cashier made me a new one. And after being in the facility I can see why they have a health score of 92 (the grading was a bit lenient if you ask me). The floors were completely sticky, the trash is overflowing, the drink station was a complete mess and WHY would you be sweeping the kitchen WHILE AN ORDER IS BEING MADE?? I tried the new brisket with the cornbread bun. Usually I like trying foods I know but, I decided to try something new. Worst mistake. The workers was so busy talking and goofing around, they didnt let me know my food was ready. My food was sitting on the counter for over 10min and no one let me know anything. I deliberately sat down and watch to see if they would call me to get my food. By the way, it was my first time eating from this restaurant franchise. Secondly, the sandwich box had sauce from the sandwich on the container. It looked messy and nasty. Thirdly, and finally, the sandwich look like someone just threw it in the container. The sandwich was soggy and looked disgusting. It looked as if someone taking the sandwhich, dumped in a bucket of water, and tried serving it. *Not not literally but figuratively* I went back to have my order re made. This is the first and last time eating at this restaurant. People from all of the world travel on 95 and this was by far the worst experience I ever had at a sandwich franchise.
