Another dinner at Captain D's and another dinner of watching my husband eat his dinner while they remake mine because the kitchen staff didn't listen to the order taker that told them that my salmon dinner needed to have NO bread or hush puppies because I have gluten allergies. My husband called Joe, the owner, the last time we were in and he said that he would speak to his staff. I guess it didn't work. I ordered a fish family meal with broccoli and when the girl read it back to me she said okra I corrected her to make sure I wasn't given okra she was laughing and talking with another employee this was on 5/30/24 when I got the food I asked again broccoli right and not okra & was told yes broccoli. I GET home 20mins later and there's okra with my family meal I call and speak to someone who says he's a manager and he Takeshi my name and says I can come back and get the large broccoli. I called the store GM on his (937) area code number left him a detailed message and to please call me back for my refund of the entire meal no one in my family eats okra but today it's 6/16/24 he never returned my call and I just left Captain Ds and the manager Maliah was rude and short with her words she refused to help me because I didn't have my receipt from 3 wks ago but I called spoke to a manager and left a detailed voice mail to the GM who ignored me . I give this place a 1 start because customer service is everything in doing any kind of business you want to treat your customers with empathy and respect when thighs go wrong with meals it was a $38 family meal that got ruined with no healthy green veggies on Memorial Day! I was at this Caption D August 13 at 3:00pm their service ok this time it was worse we tried that garlic fish and shrimp and coleslaw hush puppies. The coleslaw was warm and nasty. I didnt care for theirs new item on menu. Wasted money. The Manger came out from he kitchen with a gun on his hip. Trying to get someone headset to work. I won't be back . If I could give this 0 stars I would... Waited 30 minutes for a Sampler Plate...Staff was HORRIBLE. One young guy didn't want to take orders, another guy said this Isn't my job..Other young girls running in and out of Captain D's that use to work there.And A long line of unhappy customers.To add more the poor little manager girl kept her composure but failed to Apologize on this lonnnng wait ... I would like to say more about this place but the drive thru and lines inside are always too long I don't go here much. That could be a good thing for them? The drive thru literally takes 10-15 min to get your food even when they are not busy. The food is good. Basic greasy Chicken/Seafood menu. Decent choices of sides. Just left this restaurant. The cashier with rainbow hair was very professionally and friendly. The young man that should me my food was quite but professionally. Didn't l im e the way my hush puppies look so asked to have them exchanged. The lady cook was professionally and re did them. Thank you. After waiting about 15 minutes part of our food finally came. The server that brought our food said the rest would be out shortly, but it never came. After waiting a little bit longer I had to go up and ask for the rest of our order. We also ordered macaroni and cheese and it came in a tiny little cup which was about one mouthful. We are very disappointed with the service. It seemed like they were more interested in serving the drive-through then they were the dine-in customers. We have eaten there many times and this is the first time that we really had a problem but it makes me wonder whether we want to go back there again. read more

This is the closest Capt D's to where I live. They offer the full Capt D's menu and everything that I have ordered here has tasted good. Presentation was typical for fast food. The prices are typical for a fast food seafood restaurant. The restaurant is always clean but the furnishings are showing their age. Service is always friendly and fast unless you go through the drive through. Then it gets a little slow. But it is pretty much just another fast food fish place. Not bad but not exceptional. read more

As far as fast seafood this is my place to run to. It's fast good and reasonably priced. They have a bit more variety than Long John Silvers and other fast seafood places. The staff at this location is pleasant also. Shrimp and fish yummy. read more

Ordered a 2 piece fish with mac and cheese and a salad, and the Ultimate Seafood Feast with okra and slaw. I asked for breadsticks instead of hushpuppies. They showed me the dinners but I didn't pay attention and didn't realize they had given me hush puppies instead of the bread sticks. The hush puppies were hard and dried out on one side of each one and my mac and cheese was mushy and I couldn't eat it. I emailed to the email address on the receipt and told them about my food. I was doubtful about hearing anything. I received an amazing email from Amanda Ruby that same day at 10:38 PM. She apologized and offered me credit for 2 new meals. All I can say is wow what fantastic customer service. I have always liked their food and am happy that they cared about my experience. Way to go Amanda. read more

I went to this location tonight and ordered 2 Southern Style fish tenders meals. When we started to eat our meals we found chicken tenders mixed in with our fish. We contacted one of the young ladies delivering meals to the dining room and explained the problem. We were asked if we wanted the fish meals and said of course, that is what we ordered. She left and after a period of time with no one returning with the remainder of our fish dinner I went to the counter and contacted another employee who came to our table and investigated as we had separated the chicken from our meals. The young lady took the chicken back to the manager and he sent her back out telling us it was fish. Having tasted both the fish and chicken I asked to speak to the manager. He refused to come out and speak with us. I asked for a number to their corporate offices and was told it was on the wall outside. I was also told the name and number on the wall was the same manager in the back. Needless to say I left extremely aggravated and receiving only 2 partial meals. I formerly enjoyed Captain D's but I will not go again. read more
