For a party of two, the portion size was just right--not too little and not too much. We also ordered the garlic noodles, which are our absolute favorite! The service is always great here, which is why we keep coming back.

This place can get busssssy but its worth the wait! We always come here when we're craving a seafood boil, this is our go-to place. The Cap't Loui Special sauce is so doggone good, there's no other sauce we would choose. I highly recommend getting the corn, garlic noodles, or noodles in the bag as the sides. You will not be disappointed. Their adult capri-suns are also very delicious. They seem to be pre-mixed so there's no alterations allowed. I will forever recommend Cap't Loui and will always come back!

You can never go wrong with a good seafood boil. This restaurant is located in a great plaza with other various food options around. I've been here a couple times, once for a takeout order, and the most recent visit with my friend. My friend and I were promptly led to our table and our server came directly over to explain the menu. I went with the 1/2 pound snow crab and 1/2 pound no head shrimp with sausage as my side, while my friend ordered the shrimp, mussels, and boiled eggs. Our bags came out after about 5 minutes and we dug in. I love how a corn and potato is included, however I wish it was multiple small potatoes instead of one big one and that the corn was a bit larger (but that's just me being picky). I had the Cap't Loui mild sauce which was the perfect flavoring and heat for me. I would definitely suggest this place for anyone looking for a tasty and affordable seafood boil.

Shrimps was the only tasty thing everything else was not that good. Inside looks decent and clean. Service was good. I wouldn't recommend getting crawfish from this place.

This is a great seafood boil spot , my wife's personal favorite. They also have $1oysters on Tuesday's. The seasoning in the boil is great and the garlic noodles have a lot garlic. The service is great and very accommodating. They have a bar and a few booths with music . Recommend if you're looking for a good boil.

This place is so good! One of the best seafood boil spots in Gwinnett! I love that this is the only place that has live clams, can't find them anywhere else unless I make them at home. The sauce is so good, add in some garlic noodles and it will always make your me perfect! Their oysters are also pretty fresh as well. You can't go wrong if you come here. I order from them on uber when I can't make it in to the restaurant and even then my food comes perfect with delivery. They also have fun adult capri-suns and a very well stocked bar.

Cold hard corn Calamari I'm not sure what's was going on here Soft crab watery fried hard

Nasty food almost un-eatable. That was not calamari The corn was hard and cold. The soft crab was so tiny, watered down and fried. Fries and fish were ok. Wasted my $30.00

First seafood boiler resto that offers lunch special! There were 6 mussels, 5 shrimps and 2 boiled eggs in medium Cap't Loui sauce. The meat was fresh and the sauce was garlicky, but not too spicy even though it was medium. I also ordered garlic noodles, but the taste was kind of bland. Great portion for one person during lunch thoughm

Went on a Friday afternoon for the lunch special. You can pick 2 seafood and 1 side for $14.95 from 11:30-3pm on Mon - Fri excluding holidays. It is quite spacious inside and only a few tables were taken, but we had to wait longer than expected for our food. I got the clams and crawfish with Capt Loui seasoning, mild spiciness, and a side of garlic noodles. There were only a few pieces of seafood, so it wasn't filling but very good flavor. The garlic noodles are so simple but so yummy with the sauce!

This place is packed. It's a cool little spot to get affordable seafood. And the waitstaff is super friendly and honest. I tried to order soft shell crab and the guy that was helping us looked at me and said do not get the soft shell crab lol. Truthfully, I think you shouldn't get anything that isn't part of the seafood boil. The fried items I ordered, the fish basket and po boy were very underwhelming. The fish felt overcooked and under seasoned. And I had to douse it in the remoulade. I did also get raw oysters which were good and apparently they do an oyster sale on Tuesdays so I will probably be back for that! Bathrooms were a little gross but I think it's just because so many people are passing through. They also have this handwashing area that was a little gross. Pretty good overall if you just don't get any of the fried baskets.

My partner and I stopped by Cap't Loui's in Duluth yesterday (January 11) around 2 p.m. We enjoyed the food here previously and prefer it over the Decatur location but unfortunately, this visit was a rough one for us. We ordered our usual: garlic noodles on the side, with our main entree being crawfish, potatoes, sausage, and head-on shrimp cooked in the Cap't Loui sauce at a hot spice level. The food came out super fast, which even our waitress found unusual. While everything tasted good initially, things took a turn a few hours later. Both of us ended up with food poisoning. It's now almost 3:30 a.m., and we're still awake, suffering in serious pain. For a meal that wasn't cheap, plus a generous tip, this experience was absolutely disappointing. I hope management reads this review and is proactive in ensuring quality and safety remain top priorities.

I attempted to order the crab and spinach dip with the garlic bread like I typically do at other locations, and my server told me if I were to order it with the garlic bread, it would be an additional charge and I would only get two. I was shocked. I've ordered that and other locations, and that was my first time hearing that I would be charged extra to swap out the bread and then on top of that only receive two pieces. I ordered the Texas redfish pontchartrain with mashed potatoes. I asked if I could add cheese, and I was told yes; however, when it came, there was no cheese, and our server took so long to return, I didn't even bother. In addition, by that time I was already turned off with the bland fish that had several bones, minimal sauce, and overcooked shrimp. I was extremely displeased. I wish I would have just stuck with a fried dish, such as the chicken tenders and shrimp. That would be a safer choice. Both the fried shrimp and chicken tenders were pretty good, but know that they have a kick. The brownie dessert was pretty good. It was actually the highlight of the evening after a disappointing meal. I will never return to this location.

I recommend coming on a non peak time like weekday night if you want to enjoy a very laid back and server attentive with friendly customer service. Amy (sp?) was super helpful and friendly and brought the whole experience together. As far as the food goes, the seafood boil was fantastic! We ordered combo B and added a crab, pound of shrimp, corn and noodles a la carte and the portion was generous and enough for some take home doggie bag so I could share with my wife and kids at home. We went with the Cajun butter hot seasoning sauce and to be frank at first it was a little spicier than I expected but as we dug into the meal more the spice level balanced out and it was a truly fantastic and memorable meal. I might suggest mild or regular spice level for those who do not have a high spice tolerance. We ordered a pitcher of the premium draft IPA and we really enjoyed ourselves to seafood boil and a pitcher of fine refreshing ice cold brewskies! 5 star night, 2 thumbs up experience, and a solid 5 star for Mama's Crawfish and Wings of Suwanee!

We decided to try out the seafood boil as well and opted for one of the premade combo B because it had our favorite green mussels. The craw came out easily and whole, the corn was sweet and so juicy it ran down my hand. I ordered a side of cream noodle to go with the boil. The noodle price is more expensive for a side but the amount is enough to split. When we stopped by it was a Thursday evening, and the inside was pretty empty, just one or two other tables while we were there. The restaurant is nestled between a few hotel/motels and not too far from the highway so I was surprised to find it wasn't super busy. I did notice they did quite a few take out orders. Inside is the standard seafood boil decor, think ocean and fishing. Service was very fast and our waiter was very nice. He kept coming back to check and see how we liked the food. We will definitely be back, i hope to try the wings next time!
