How many ounces are the crab cakes? How much are they? I'm from Maryland, and I've rarely seen a good 6-ounce or larger PA crab cake. The only good one I had was a 6-ounce one over-priced at $30.

Our crab cakes are 4 oz broiled or fried and they are $14. Hope to see you soon!

And I don't say this lightly -- it's the only one that competes with my own. Then the pizza showed up. Sourdough crust -- light, crisp, perfectly blistered. A cheese blend of mozzarella, ricotta, and grana padano that actually tastes like something. The white pizza? It's not "good for around here." It's just good. Period. Fun atmosphere. Friendly staff. Zero complaints. I came to review. I left impressed.

Today was a snow day, and I finally had the privilege to join a group of friends for a fantastic lunch there, and boy was it good! Started with a cold glass of water and a Honey Lavender Latte; what a great way to warm up on a frigid winter day. My close friends had a Caramel Pumpkin Latte and a traditional Café Latte; nobody was disappointed with their drink of choice. There were so many great options on the menu so my gal pal and I decided to do what any good friend would do...SHARE! OUR SELECTIONS: Brotherly Love Hash (a breakfast hash inspired by PA famous favorite a Philly Cheesesteak). This beautiful concoction was made up of ribeye, cooper sharp, hashbrowns, scrambled egg, sriracha mayo, philly roll on the side $16 SKILLET *AND* A medium pizza appropriately named "The Forager". A perfect crust topped with roasted garlic, mozzarella, mushrooms, caramelized onions, and creamy Gorgonzola crumbles. $22.00 Very welcoming staff, sparking clean, and marked with touches nostalgic memorabilia around the restaurant. Consider it a "must" for those living and also visiting the downtown York. Everything that was walked past us as it left the kitchen made me want more, to see more, and to return more so I can try EVERYTHING once, if not, twice Definitely gonna return for the wings as they were not only smelling like the perfect wings but also looked equally amazing and delicious. Thank you, Mia! We will be back

Edgard ( I think I spelled that correctly) is still in the kitchen working his magic! Friends ordered the chicken tacos and shrimp tacos. Served in warm, soft flour tortillas, they are always a hit. DH ordered a smash burger which he said was good, but needed a bit more seasoning. I was I. Heaven with the delish marinated roasted chicken. Someone asked me what it is marinated in; my answer was: it's marinated in deliciousness! True! Served with choices of sides, my chicken came with a salad ( always fresh ) and plantains. So delicious and such a great portion! I remember when the owner talked about expanding and opening another place and I am so happy he is getting rewarded for his hard work. If you haven't been to Rocoto, do yourself and your tastebuds a favor and get there soon!

Here's the issue, the machine said there was no more chicken for the day. I'd driven about 40 minutes to get this chicken and for there to be no more, I was kinda irritated. Someone behind the counter heard me and went through a whole explanation of how the system doesn't recognize that they hold some chicken back from the system so they don't run out because it takes a long time to cook. So, I was able to get the chicken but I was now in a bad mood. We ordered a lot of food! chicken and fried rice, a side salad, lomo saltado, It wasn't bad, but it didn't blow my mind either. My chicken was really overcooked, likely from being made and held. There was only one sauce offered with the chicken. A yellow sauce that was very mayonnaisey. Everything was served on paper plates and boats. They only had plastic cutlery. I got the vibe that even though there is seating, this is a takeout joint.
