Placed an online order for delivery, which sends you to a third party delivery service (door dash). Was delivered someone else's order. Contacted door dash which said they would place the order for redelivery. The store cancels it. They try then to refund and the store wouldn't allow them. So, then I call the store and speak with the manager who tells me there's nothing they can do as it uses the third party for delivery. She tells me that they don't have the authorization to cancel the order and even though I had the text on my phone stating otherwise, she still denied it. After the run around, nothing was resolved, I never received the original order, and lastly I won't be refunded. But, hey, at least I received Dorothy's italian subs! Sorry Dorothy! read more

there's only two place I always go to in Easton Maryland to get food and one them is the best sandwiches shops I've ever been to. I always get the Bobbie which of course if you love thanksgiving you'll love this sandwich. it comes with turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and mayonnaise. I can't get enough of that sandwich. It's that good! also I think it's come to a point where I might be going to Capriotti's a little too much which can be a good or bad thing depending on how you look at it, but the best part about that is there are a few employees that know my name by heart and say it every time I enter the building as well as what I'm getting or taking off the sandwich which makes the experience more special. the service is always great and I'm in and out of there pretty quickly. read more

Made an awesome find of Capriotti's Easton at 106 Marlboro Ave #4, Easton, Maryland this week for lunch! Had no idea there was a Capriotti's here and I'll pull over at any time for a Capriotti's fresh Turkey Sub.  This one was no different than the rest.  Freshly made turkey, outstanding bread and whatever condiments you want.  This location offers Delivery and is open at 10am each weekday.  What a great find. If you're in the Eastern Shore area or heading there, this location is only a couple of miles off of Hwy 50.  Definitely check them out at 106 Marlboro Ave #4, Easton, Maryland!  So, so, so very good! read more

So I went here today and haven't been there for some time. But I got a small Italian, actually the first time ever getting a small sub usually only get a medium. And.... Total trash, I mean I was so disappointed that someone could sell me this sub for $10 such a freaking joke. There were-literally three pieces of meat on the sub, three.. then there was a practically unripe tomato and l,t and pickles. Whoever owns this, scam should shut it down because next time, I'm going to drive to Ridgely and get myself a Foster's sub because they smoke Capriottis. I wanted a cheesesteak and this place was one of the few that had it listed on their menu. I came for an early dinner and the place is empty, but this is more of a lunch spot so I understand it. One of the reviews on here said the cheesesteak was all bread and no meat so I opted to go ahead and get double meat and cheese. There was plenty of steak on the sandwich and with the amount of steak, I think I would have been fine without getting double meat. It was pretty good, however I didn't realize you have to tell them you want onions and peppers, they do not come on the sandwich unless you ask. I thought that was weird since it lists them in the description on the menu. I would come back and get another cheesesteak. Very good! read more

The good news: the Italian Sub was good as it came. The bad: the website directed me to order--as it happens, via Yelp--and I did. I waited to pick up the order, and when I tried I was told they had no order despite that I got email confirmation. I placed a new order, which was filled promptly. Not impressed at all. Ordered the "Bobbie" sub ($8 for a small) and as it's turkey with stuffing, one would assume it would be served warm, if not hot. Instead of refrigerated. Got this type of sandwich, the "Gobbler" at Wawa, which is significantly better, and served warm. The floor is filthy, the soda machine sprays everywhere, and the cashier seems apathetic. I've been a customer for at least 8 years. It's very disappointing to see the place go down-hill the way they have. 1. The place is very dirty. 2. The rolls are much narrower and shorter. 3. I had a survey coupon for a 9" sandwich. I was told it's no longer valid. Ridiculous!!! 4. In addition, the lady making my sandwich, kept laying the meat and cheese on the wooden board. I'm very sad to put this review on here. I have only had great experiences at this place. I feel it's worth the money for good food. Until recently I ordered the Bobbie which is freaking amazing, but this time I had more stuffing then meat and the meat that was on the sandwich was dry. Horrible customer service!! Ordered 2 turkey subs online and after arriving 20 minutes later they tell me they ran out of turkey and that someone is going to get some and they give me the option of getting a refund or waiting until the person gets back with the turkey, well I came all the way there for my food so I wanted it. 20 minutes later I finally get my subs and not a single person apologized for the wait or anything. I would like to take this opportunity and apologize for the recent Craig L. review. That review was posted under a false account. I have had nothing but bad experiences at Capriotti's Sandwich Shop. From the lack of red wine vinegar to the slow service, it has been dissapointing time and again. I tried to give them another chance recently and ordered a roast beef sub. The roast beef was shredded and lacked good flavor and texture, not to mention, they only offered oil !!!. Not happy. To add salt to the wound, it took a year and a day to get the bloody sandwich. Just as an FYI, the following sub shops are better: WAWA Jimmy John's Subway Royal Farms 7-11 U5 Gas and Sub shop High's Jersey Mikes Firehouse Even the BBQ place on RT 50 is better. Great food. I had the cheessteak and it was very good. The service is very poor and the manager is terrible and very rude. The place was dirty. Their were five girls standing at the counter doing nothing and the customers were cleaning off their own tables. Also it is very slow. Their were only five people in and it took us 15 minutes to be served. They had four cashiers and one person was making the sandwiches. Sad the subs are great but poorly managed. The place also feals like a chain restaurant instead of a sub shop. I would suggest calling in your order and picking it up. read more

I ordered two 20 inch cold subs,one chicken one roast beef for a luncheon. the sandwiches were mediocre. The day I picked the sandwiches up the kid behind the cash register was unqualified to do even that. I asked "How much did I owe. He told me and I proceeded to write a check. I Asked how to spell the name and stopped and said never mind here is a card I'll copy from it. He stood there and watched me fill in my check stub and check. I handed him the check and he looked baffled and asked the girl what he should do with it. She went in the back room came out and mumbled to the boy, and they both just looked at me. I asked if my sandwiches were ready. No answer, another trip to the back room and then I'm told "We don't accept checks anymore." The manager followed her out this time and said nothing. well Mr. C. I love the food here and come there all the time. But 90% of the time I come they are always messing up my order and dont put the right toppings I ask for. I live about 20 miles away so when I get home and the topping are wrong that makes me really upset. Now I have to check my food before I leave to make sure everything is right. read more

As a native Delawarean, I've always loved the vegetarian turkey sub from Capriotti's. Here it was good. The only thing that disappointed me was the bread wasn't as crusty as the subs I've ordered in northern Delaware, where Capriotti's originated. I called this evening to place an order and was put on hold. I don't mind holding but after 5 minutes, I hung up and called again. I was then able to place my order for a slaw-be-jo. My order was taken, I was told how much it would be and that it would be ready in about 10 minutes. I drove in to pick up my order, went inside to the counter and was told "we don't have any roast beef tonight". WHAT?? They couldn't have told me that when I placed the order??? I thought I knew what a real turkey sub was from those "other guys" but that was until I ate at this Capriotti's. This was no ordinary sub, with the first bite I felt like I was transported straight to Little Italy. From top to bottom this sub was second to none, the bread was like a fluffy pillow of goodness and the turkey was unbelievably moist and delicious. It was also extremely refreshing to see their fantastic choice of toppings, of which most are a staple of any Italian sandwich shop. I've talked enough about the food, what really set this place apart from their competitors was the top notch, A+ service. I was greeted as soon as I entered the restaurant and through the entire I experience I truly felt like the staff cared about my order but more importantly, cared about me as a human being. It completely changed my attitude for the rest of the day. I don't quite know how that man with two names is even still in the competition of a sub place.
