Keeping in mind time constraints travelers have, he prepared a menu based on the amount of time you had. You can also order a la carte, but why bother figuring out what's best, when the answers are the offering in the menu. I had some Euros to blow before coming back to America, so there I was in the airport eating things I had to google because the words were above my palate. My first round was an appetizer that consisted of thinly sliced fish with apple sauce. It had a FAR more enticing name. Interesting combination that worked. It came with three. I needed 10. My main course was the ravioli. It was slightly overcooked, but delicious. Lick the plate cream sauce. Last was my tiramisu. They prepare it in front of you by adding a little coffee cream to plate for decor. Part of the tiramisu seemed to have ice cream in it. While I was skeptical when I looked at it, the essence of a traditional tiramisu was present, and it was amazing. The entire meal from start to finish was 30 minutes. Obviously the portions were small, but they give you a few pieces of much needed bread. Overall, a great experience. Service was top notch. And upon returning, I will eat here again if time permits.

Within 30 minutes, measured on each table by an hourglass, you can have a starter, a pasta and a dessert. All of them very creative and well prepared. Beside this option also a rich menu is available.

Beautiful sea themed purse of art on each table. OMG. We did the tasting menu. Just drool over the pictures ... My only complaint? They did a five minute explanation of every course in Italian and then I got the 5 word English translation from my cousin's! I am sure I missed some fabulous descriptions lost in translation. But the food was still incredible.

We arrived at the airport a day early at 5 in the morning. Fortunately, this cute hotel is was no more than an 8-9 € taxi ride away from the airport, was highly recommended online, and was worth it in every way. Inexpensive. Clean. Modern. Amazingly friendly. We got to the hotel around 6:30am and the night doorman let us in and immediately let us tuck all our luggage away in a corner of the lobby. When we explained things to him, he told us that we could have a room by 10:00am. Until then he let us wait in the comfy lobby. When breakfast rolled around we went and enjoyed that. By the time we were done it was only 8:30, but the cleaning crew had cleaned up one of the rooms early and we were allowed to move in! This was amazing for us, as it allowed us to get back to sleep for a while, seeing as we had gotten up ridiculously early to make our imagined plane. The room was wonderful, and the check out was easy. They also set up a taxi for us for our trip to the airport the next morning. While they did not charge for this, you should know that a very early morning taxi ride costs double... According to the taxi driver.

At first when we arrived at Sofia's we were skeptical since the restaurant was completely empty (this was around 6pm). But then we realized that europeans tend to have dinner after 8pm (the restaurant filled up around that time). So don't hesitate to go inside if it's looking a little empty! What we had: Focaccia Bread - Possibly the best bread we had in Italy. It was made fresh and very well seasoned. Seabass carpaccio - light dish that was very well balanced. Duck ragu - omg this was beaut. Highly recommended Pasta with bacon? - pretty good as well but wasnt as good as the duck ragu. Duck breast with salad - cooked to perfection and all the flavors were very well balanced. Beef fillet - it was also cooked to perfection. The sauce complimented the dish very well. Overall, i wish we had the opportunity to eat here again rather than trying other restaurants that werent even half as good as this place.

As a Southern American trying to navigate Rome, I'm still completely confused. I cannot for the life of me figure out north vs. south or east vs. west in this city. Every street somehow looks historic, beautiful, and exactly the same. By 9 PM, after walking more than 10 miles today and standing in countless lines -- one for over an hour -- I was exhausted. I was close to my hotel and started looking for somewhere to eat. I had already passed Sofia earlier and really didn't want to backtrack even a few blocks. But after going the wrong direction again and somehow ending up right back near it, I figured that was a sign. So, Sofia it was. My ordering skills in Italy are still not exactly professional level. I really need a local Italian to help me. Yeah, I'm slow... remember, I'm from the South. I ordered the Mezza Maniche Carbonara. I mean, you can't really go wrong with noodles, cheese, and pork, right? A few minutes after ordering, they brought out this little appetizer-looking thing that I'm still confused about. It was this tiny little ball about the size of my thumb. I took one bite and it was absolutely delicious. Honestly, I'm not even sure I want to know what was in it, but at that point I was hungry enough not to ask questions. Then the pasta arrived. Drumroll... First bite? Absolutely divine. Rich, creamy, cheesy pasta with perfectly cooked pork mixed throughout. Fantastic. I devoured the entire plate, chased it down with a Coke, grabbed my glass bottle of water, and walked down the street carrying it like a Roman wino. Great food, great atmosphere, and a perfect little outdoor dining setup on one of Rome's tiny city streets
