Very responsive, tech savvy and with great customer service. They have been to my office and were there at the appointment time and were very professional and informative. Prices are very reasonable. On one occasion I went to their office just before they were closing with a laptop with a non-working screen. Eric started working on it at that time in front of me and was able to get it working with a small fix. He handed it back to me and did not even charge me for his time/service. I highly recommend them.

Pricing was very fair and clear. I can't say enough good things about this company. Don't hesitate to contact them if you need help making your home more hi-tech. I used this service for 5 years. I paid my bills every month on time and during the 5 years of…read moreservice there were no big issues. I recently sold my house and no longer live there. I called Central in May and was told I had to wait until the contract expired before I could cancel (after Aug 29 2016). During my call in May there was no mention of a "cancelation letter". I call Central this week to make sure I was no longer getting charged for the service and now they tell me I should have sent in a cancelation letter back July. Since they did not receive a letter with my cancelation request they started a new 1 year contract for a house I no longer own. Shocked, I asked the customer service rep if I could pay for the 2 months Sept & Oct, she said no. My only options for a house I no longer own - 1) cancel now but I still have to pay the full 12 months or 2) they will let me out of my new 1 year forced upon me contract for a small buy out fee $200.! Buyers beware, if the service is so good, why do they feel the need to trick you into a new contract. Read the tiny print. Since my initial review of 1 I was contacted by Central and we have come to a mutual agreement. I like the fact they were willing to listen to a few suggestions. The top one being, contact the customer 45 days out from contract renewal and discuss options. I hope they decide to make this adjustment. Thank you Jimmy for your help.

Their customer service is the worst! I had no problems whatsoever when it was FrontPoint but as…read moresoon as it changed to Alert360 things went down the hill. FrontPoint always provided the panel's battery replacement and new sensors for free, forget about it with Alert360. Whenever I tried to contact them to get assistance or to talk to a representative it took me about 30 minutes to be able to find a phone number to call them. Once I had them on the phone their assistance was of no help, some of the agents were even curt and didn't see to care about my issue. For financial reasons I had to cancel the service, last thing I remembered I was told with FrontPoint that there were no contracts and could cancel at any time without problems. Well, since moving to Alert360 it seems that one is under a contract since you have to give them 30 days notice to cancel or else you will be charged. Since I cancelled at the beginning of September they charged me for the month, ok that's fine, but I gave them my notification before October and guess what?! They went ahead and charged me for the month with no service! Ha! I called them twice to get the charge refunded (the woman that answered was pretty rude by the way), last agent I spoke to told me the refund should've been made right away on my first call! He said the refund would be posted in my back account within 5-7 days...it's already half month and no amount has been refunded so I had to dispute the charge which is still in process. Please don't trust this people and their business practices, they will screw you up any chance they get and you won't see a penny if you are asking for money back! **UPDATE: I received a call from one their representatives on October 29 telling me they had sent me a check on October 16 and I should get it shortly. Well, it is now November 7 and I still haven't received any check yet. I submitted a review at the ConsumerAffairs website and the BBB. My bank is also disputing and investigating this issue. I still don't recommend them and wouldn't go back to them even if their service was free... **UPDATE (11/22/24): The company called me to tell me that the check they had sent went back to them due to them missing to write down the apartment number (you would think they have the complete address since they're a security systems company! The irony!), fine, I gave the correct address and the agent says they'll resent the check. Next day, I received another call saying they couldn't send the check since they don't have the complete address! This company is just joking with me at this point! What type of training is the staff getting? They don't know how to write down notes in one's file??? It's ridiculous, a joke and a waste of time! My bank still dealing with the dispute (about two months ongoing now!) which they shouldn't have to...shm. I have updated every single complaint I put out there about this company (Google, Yahoo, BBB, Consumer Affairs, Yelp, etc.) so people will realize the kind of business this is and to PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AND FIND SOMETHING BETTER!

At least one place told me I wasn't a "high dollar thus as valued customer". I remember those places, always. I called Empire and within 5 days they had a wonderful gentleman come over and give me an estimate. Side note, all stereo places prefer you buy their equipment before they install it. Empire did all my installation needs within one month and didn't complain that I only bought cheap ceiling speakers. The whole job was on par for pricing and the amount of work was well done and quick. Finally, I have Control4 so they were able to automate my theatre experience. I have had one issue, my router went down and for some reason the receiver I bought in NC lost it's IP information. While I had to pay for the service call, Empire had someone out within 4 days and not only was it fixed within 10 minutes, the installer showed me how to fix it! In summary, if you want good AV (Audio / Video) equipment and installation for your home in a timely manner, reasonable prices, and by good people, give these guys a shout. You'll be very happy you did.
