Wow! Capital One Café is amazing! As Capital One cardholders, we've known about Capital One having cafes but have never thought to go. We were walking around the area earlier today & decided to give their drinks a go after reading a sign outside that said they offer free handcrafted drinks on Mondays. We decided to get an iced blueberry Ube matcha latte & an iced blueberry Ube latte. In order to qualify for the free drinks, you will need to fill out an online form and add the pass to your Apple/Google Wallet. This pass grants one free beverage/person every Monday, from 5/25/26-9/7/26 & you do not need to be a cardholder to participate. If you are a current cardholder (credit/debit card), you can get 50% off all drinks on any day of the week! Also on Thursdays from 3pm to close, lattes are $3.60 (6/4/26-9/3/26). The drinks were great! Honestly did not taste the blueberry Ube in either of the drinks we ordered but the caffeine was hitting! Haha. Neither of the drinks tasted watered down, which was appreciated. The cafe was huge, with two floors of seating available. They have private rooms you can reserve ahead of time, perfect for studying or for anyone looking for a quiet space to do some work. Being capital one members, I've never actually stopped into a cafe, been passed them plenty but today in the rain decided to come in. They do have a summer promotion going on where you can get a pass sent to phone for a free drink Mondays, normal deal for members is 50% off drinks. There's different promotional signs in the cafe. Cool social space, two levels, banking needs, atm, cashiers check printing self kiosk, financial offices, water dispensers. It's a great space, popping with people on work break, doing work in spaces, social hour etc. The staff at the cafe were all nice and fast overall. I found the Capital One Cafe on Boylston Street around the corner from my hotel and noticed they had reservable private workspaces that can be booked for up to 120 minutes per day. Reserving one was incredibly easy. I scanned the QR code, booked a spot for the next day, and received a text confirmation within minutes. While waiting for my reservation to start, I grabbed a matcha latte from Verve Coffee. It could have been a bit stronger, but it was good, and cardholders get 50% off beverages, which was a nice surprise. The workspace was comfortable and perfect for getting some work done. This place turned out to be a wonderful surprise! Once upon a time a Capital One Cafe turned up in Hingham where I lived. I didn't know what to make of it and given the name I thought it was a cafe for only those who did their banking at Capital One. I do not have a Capital One account or credit card and so I never set foot inside. That was my mistake. The Hingham Cafe location has since closed. Recently I was in Boston for my monthly hair appointment. I had arrived early and ended up with almost 30 minutes to spare (it is hard to judge what traffic will be like traveling into Boston). When this happens, I typically would stop in to Levain Bakery for a tea (iced or hot) but this time, I was looking to try someplace different. When I noticed this Capital One Cafe and with time to spare, I decided to go in to see what it was all about. To my very pleasant surprise I learned that it is a cafe open to anyone even if you don't do your banking with Capital One. The space here is large, bright, and airy with plenty of seating. There were two men at the entry who greeted me warmly. They are also there to help anyone who is a Capital One customer as well as to assist anyone who wants to open an any kind of CO account but there was absolutely no pressure. They simply greeted me and on I went to the counter. There is a long open bar where one orders. The morning I was there a friendly and helpful young man was working behind the counter. They had a selection of coffees and teas, iced or hot, and light food items. If you are a Capital One customer and pay for your drink/food with your CO credit card you get a discount on whatever you order. The Cafe opens at 7am. I was there about 8:30am and had my choice of seating. Given its prime tourist and shopping location I am guessing it gets busier later on in the day but that morning it was fairly quiet. Joy! I enjoyed my iced tea and read my book until it was time to go for my hair appointment. This was a comfortable space, the iced tea was delicious and priced fairly. It was an absolute delight to be here. This may be my new morning hangout whenever I'm in the area. Do not pass up a Capital One Cafe if there is one near you. read more

The croissant had some sort of orange zest it in, which was a pleasant surprise. My mom had the avocado toast and was expecting buffalo mozzarella because there was a sign that pictured the toast with the cheese, but was informed that it would cost extra. This is a nice lofty place, but honestly I don't get it. It doesn't have tellers but reps to answer any questions regarding the online app and possibly the ATM machine. I randomly walked in before my spa treatment next-door and saw that was the verve café to the right and there was no line, all the empty chairs and table staggered on two floors were occupied by people wanting to do some personal work or study. That's nice and all but I don't see how this is helping the bank other than getting any anyone to come in and buy coffee but there were enough tables to make this place a buzz and there weren't any chargers for phones. What a great find in the Back Bay. The inside is light and airy with plenty of tables of all types (couches, large group tables, 2 tops, etc.) and outlets (there are two floors, too). There's water and bathrooms available on both floors. The prices are high-average for downtown, but for those with a capital one card you get half off coffee drinks. I didn't get any food, but there's a decent selection of pastries and dry foods (granola bars, chips, etc.), with a few hot sandwiches. That's pretty much the only mention of Capital One here - people aren't coming up to you and talking about the card or anything. It's a great public space that I will likely return to! read more

I visited the capital one cafe twice in one weekend because their chai was so good (and cheap with my capital one card). The first time I visited I ordered a chai with honey lavender syrup, which was delicious but so hot that I burned my tongue and had to wait at least 10 minutes to drink. The next time, I tried chai with rose syrup and it came out at a more drinkable temperature. I also had one of their sandwiches, which was good but a bit small for the price. My one complaint about this location is that service was quite slow both times I visited. They seem to be understaffed, because they had two baristas working and one would take 2-3 orders, then go to make them. My experience at this specific Capital One location has made me question why I ever banked anywhere else. I have been a Wells Fargo customer for my entire banking life, but had no specific reason why. After learning that there are zero Wells Fargo ATMs in Boston (also moved here from California), I decided to come in to this location to learn about their checking accounts. Ashley was EXTREMELY helpful, patient, knowledgeable, kind, funny, and relaxed. She completely put me at ease as she answered my questions. She told me she used to teach banking classes online, and it definitely shows. Everything was done super quickly, and I love that there's a Peet's Coffee inside. I would love to see more work pods or even sound absorbing dividers not throughout the entire cafe bc the open format is beautiful but just more. I would like to be able to close the door for some of the zoom calls I have. Even with AirPods people can hear me talking and I get loud with the AirPods in. Even if they just had a glass window instead of the frosted glass that would be a little more ideal. While on the road I am been dependent on the Capital One Cafes workspace and some contracts have NDA's that really is not anyone else's business and could jeopardize my job. I am sure others may have the same issue. But the coffee shop staff and some the greeters at the door are just the best part of the day. read more

Honestly I discovered capital one cafes last year when they were doing a $1 drink promotion during the summer and was bummed when I had just missed it by a day! I was at first a little intimidated by the place because I had seen some locations around but assumed it was just for cardmembers like some delta lounge member exclusive deal but can reaffirm now that it's open to everyone!! I don't bank with capital one but I get excited now every time I pass by a capital one cafe and absolutely love coming in to do some work! The concept itself is such a stroke of genius marketing and advertising! The workers are all such welcoming and kind people and are present to sell you on their card if you're interested but it's never pressured! It's also nice because usually cafes give the pressure of if you're using the space, you have to buy something, but here I don't feel that pressure because they're just excited that you came in and just need to use their space which is exactly what makes me end up coming back and getting something anyway! As a chai lover, of course I had to try theirs which I give a 3/5. Which honestly for New England, is one of the higher ratings I've given. It had more flavor than most of the watered down stuff I've had around town and just a twinge of spice, but nothing exceptional. But the experience of coming here??? 5/5 so worth it, don't be afraid to come on in! read more

They noticed immediately the second a creepy guy had made himself too comfortable at my table and kept trying to question me when I was trying to work, and were constantly checking in and asking if I was alright and eventually were able to get the guy to leave. Compared to the locations in Seattle, this one is a lot smaller. There is a common area interior with some small meeting rooms towards the side. This was a 1st for me withdrawing money from the bank's ATM & having a full fledge Peet's Coffee & Tea in the same space. An inviting & communal space where you can bank, recharge devices, seek financial advice with a handcrafted Peet's beverage or pastry while socializing amongst other customers. Peet's also has a section of retail products. To note, the Banker title has been replaced by Café Money Coaches...clever. I tested out the Cash Tapp machine where you can make large deposits & credit card payments that will be credited to your account same business day. If you don't have your physical card on you & have a smartphone, you can still access cash from your account.
