They released the new spring cherry blossom drink menu and I was able to try out their cherry vanilla Matcha latte definitely expected a sweet drink and perhaps because I got it in hot. Went there during the shutdown not knowing if they had a deals for those affected. We were looking to buy hot drinks with our capital one credit cards to score 50% off. Line was long to order but moved quickly. When we got closer to the counter we saw a sign indicating that furloughed employees get a free cup of tea or daybreaker coffee. We tried the latter. Wifey and I have never been coffee regulars but with free coffee every Monday over the summer or half price coffee for the capital one cardholdholders, we've established a little routine, lol. Of course it's top notch coffee with options like the pourovers or cappuccinos or lattes with a variety of flavors like honey lavender or pumpkin pie or chai or green tea! I love the Capital One Café in Georgetown. I come here often. It makes me proud to rock Capital One cards. Such a great place for patrons and non-patrons alike. One time I went there they were doing a partnership with the MLB and giving out free drinks of your choice, and if you're a Capital One cardholder or can prove you have an account with them they will give you 50% off handcrafted beverages. This place is really chill and I absolutely enjoyed my first time here today. I stayed in the upstairs section, which is where I think most people do their work. There are tons of couches and sofas, but not as many desks that I would like. There were mostly individual tables, as well as, a long table with bar stool type chairs. I am for sure more comfortable working with the regular long tables with comfortable seats. I pretty much stayed on a two seater sofa, with my computer on my lap. The WiFi was awesome, and thankfully there are more than enough outlets to plug-in. I was here for about 4 hours until I decided to leave to find affordable food. The area where this cafe us located isn't known for its affordability too much. I may find my way back here a little later, and I will definitely be back here tomorrow. read more

I went today to participate in their free drink for the world series game. I enjoyed that they were doing a free drink as it was a nice treat to start my week. I wanted to order an iced soy half cafe latte. I appreciated that for my iced latte I was able to get it made with soy milk as frequently coffee shops don't carry soy milk now that oat and almond seem to be more popular. They were unable to make decaf espresso though so I had to get it 100% caffeinated. Initially they made my drink hot, but nicely corrected it iced when I pointed out the mistake. They did not offer me the hot drink so I am guessing they were just going to pour it out which seems a little wasteful. I could have given it to a friend or they could have offered it to someone else as I hadn't even taken the cup from the barista when I mentioned I had ordered iced. They seem to have made another customer's drink wrong too while I was there. Lots of seating to work and hangout with friends if that's what you are looking to do. read more

Coffee is a bit pricey but you get a 50% discount with the capital one card. Working space. Free WiFi, comfortable chairs, and lots of locations to plug in. Apparently you can reserve private room too. They are free if you have the capital one card. Not sure how much if you don't. The first floor is decent size but there's even more room on the second. First time at this Capital One Café and I've been meaning to stop by ever since Capital One switched to Verve Coffee Roasters. I immediately went to see what beans they had on sale. Unfortunately, a lot of the roast dates were from July (the latest roasted beans were from early November, so more than a month ago) so I was not incentivized to purchase any. Also, if you're a Capital One credit/debit cardholder, you can get 50% off handcrafted drinks -- this is what makes it worth it! HONEY LAVENDER LATTE 12 OZ.) - 5.75 +1 for oat milk, +1.50 for an extra espresso shot But with the 50% discount, it was only $4.13, which is definitely worth it. Overall, the drink was OK. I liked the espresso flavor (can definitely tell with the extra shot), but not the biggest fan of the honey and lavender syrups here. Next time, I'll probably just get a regular latte. There was another review who said 4 stars if you're a Capital One credit/debit cardholder, and 3 stars if you're not -- I agree completely.
