I came in with my daughter for some character heels and a new pair of tap shoes in wide widths. They didn't have them in the store but told us that they could order them and that they would call us when the shoes arrived. We would not have to pay, unless we decided to purchase. When I realized that they never called to let us know that the shoes had arrived, I called. They didn't find the order and it doesn't seem that the shoes arrived and were simply put back in stock. Their suggestion, "Perhaps you should order them online." Considering it was a large order, I would hope that they would have expedited an order for me to their store. Dealing with having to find wide width shoes is hard. Stores often don't keep them in stock. So, you are left guessing on whether the shoes fit and dealing with the returns when they don't. If I wanted to go through the same routine of buying and returning shoes that I ordered online, I would not have driven 45 minutes out of my way in traffic to go to the store in the first place. I am disappointed in the store's lack of service. If they weren't going to fulfill the order, they shouldn't have offered to take it. read more

This is a great shop for dancers. Since it is recital season this was the a great place to get the footless tan tights I needed. The staff was extremely helpful and offered to ship anything currently not available in store. This location is upstairs in a very busy shopping center. read more

The store has very knowledgeable staff and a wide selection of products. The only "problem" is the male selection. Is literally half a rack of clothing items and only a handful of shoes in capris on to the dozen or more for females. I can't judge them for that because that's typical but it's way more boys/men who dance than that small selection. I was highly disappointed. read more

After my review last week, the manager reached out to me regarding the return of the character shoes I had purchased there. The day I had the encounter, I was so frustrated that I left the shoes at the store and told the cashier that I didn't need them. The manager was amazing! She explained why the store had the policy that they have and said that the reason they set up accounts with customers is to help with this exact situation. She apologized that an account was not set up for me and offered to give me a full return on the shoes. I appreciate her professionalism and generosity. My faith has been restored in Capezio and I will continue to shop there for my daughters dancing needs. read more

Super annoyed! I had all 3 of my children 5 and under, walking up the cement staircase in 102 weather. My 4 year old had to go to the restroom and we ran up the stair to find out they don't let anyone use the bathrooms anymore per Covid. Please close your doors until you are ready to service your customers. The manager told me I can walk all my kids back down stairs and down the shopping center to Eatziz's. Seriously?! You obviously do not have children. This is NOT a family friend or child atmosphere. I will be happy to drive to Plano to Sandy's Dance Wear and give them my business. read more

Capezio's is the one stop shop for dance apparel. The Sales Team is very professional and helps you from start to finish. We have been coming here for years for dance shoes, tights and leotards. My daughter loves the various styles and colors of the leotards. Although the store is small it never feels crowded. I would suggest visiting during the weekday since the store is in a busy area! I want to thank the staff for being so sweet and some patient and nice. A bunch of us are doing a female and personation for the first time for Halloween and I was told to come here to get my tights and had no clue what I was looking for when I explained my dilemma the sales girl jumped into motion and had me in and out in less than 10 minutes and made me feel like I was a very valued customer. My previous 1 star review was removed. I hope this review is not removed also. Yesterday, I had the most horrible shopping experience here because of Hope the store manager. She treated me as if I was a complete inconvenience to her. Never spending my money here again! Although the posted store closing time is 6 pm, the entire store shuts down 10 minutes early and they will not let you in. Two other customers were turned away, when I was finally allowed in -just to get a ballet skirt for my 4 year old-Hope was extremely rude. She argued with me about how the store was already closed -mind you the computers still said 5:50. According to Hope she goes by a Managers clock that said it was 6 ??? The entire experience was uncomfortable. I will never take my business there again. read more

This is the best place for all things DANCE! I can get my daughter's conservative leotard, tights, and slippers or find a sassy outfit for fun dress up. They always have some cute things for a good price. Lauren helped us pick out the perfect new ballet shoes to "grow" with my daughter's foot. The staff here really knows their stuff! My daughter needed new dance shoes, so we went into this neighborhood store. We were offered our choice of two different shoes, both of which were slipping off her heel. When I asked if they had any other options or ideas for us, I was given the store manager and "Fit Specialist." She told me it was her expert option that this ill-fitting shoe was the one and that my daughter was being "complain-y." Her snippy attitude and critical words were likely out of frustration that she doesn't offer enough different options in the store to provide a good fitting experience. Two reasons why I will never be back. Capezio is not the only dance store in town! It may be the most convenient location, but I will happily drive across town to where the selection is better and the staff is way more patient, kind and helpful! read more

Wow!!! This store is great. Just went to Capezio the other day and haven't been by since they moved. The new location is well-organized and the staff was very friendly and helpful,. They put my youngest daughter in appropriate shoes and got everything she needed to start her dance classes. I highly recommend this place. read more

Went in here yesterday to save time by avoiding the drive to Sandy's. I knew exactly what I wanted. When I was greeted by the sales person he asked if I needed help finding anything, I responded that I was looking for a particular leotard. He informed me that I may be able to find it in green on the clearance rack if they had it at all. Turns out he was standing right next to a whole rack of leotards of that style. Next I needed a ballet skirt, they quickly informed me (without looking) that they didn't have my size. Overall, they staff was unpleasant and seemed as though they had no interest in helping me. I walked out empty handed, and will be heading out to Sandy's this afternoon! read more
