We sat outside at the picnic table which there was plenty of them. They had lots of umbrellas over the tables. Also, if you were getting too hot in the sun. They actually had music trivia night when I arrived, which was really fun. I did not have any food, but I had a couple drinks which were delicious. We had to go inside to order our beers, which was no problem. They had lots of choices and I enjoyed the selection. The servers inside were very helpful and answered all questions I had about any beers I was thinking about. I would go back again.

Really relaxed vibe indoors & out with knowledgeable staff. I love customer service workers that know their stuff & appreciate their craft. Soyer, Henlynn & Zo got us right together with these flight selections! Zo gave 4-1-1 on all to do in the area. Gotta love it. Lessons on brews & where to slde through while on vacation! We took notes! My wife & I each did our own flight as Caoe Cod newbies. I truly enjoyed my time at CCB. The friendliness of the patrons & staff, the inclusiveness! Needless to say, but we'll be back for Yappy hour & music bingo or trivia. Big ups to The Big Dipah & the tropical trippy Sour Ale, it was hittin'! I also enjoyed the bold brew blend!

Cape cod beer was on our to do list so we made it here. It's a cool place that has indoor and outdoor seating. They've got board games as well. I got a sea salt lemonade cider. It sounds amazing but it wasn't what I thought it was. It was still refreshing. A little tart. My dad enjoyed his beer. We sat inside as it was chilly out. They seem to have trivia nights or some live music depending on the days. This is a place I would hang out if I lived here.

Great place to hang out with family or friends and have a few libations. We went here after lunch on our way back to B&B. We have a few dietary restrictions among our group and everyone found something to their liking. Lots of in the sun and out of the sun seating. They had a BBQ food truck for those looking to eat. Also a few games for those looking to challenge others at. Extensive beer selection, some non-alcoholic beer as well as wine and hard ciders. Their wine selection is limited and tends to be on the sweet side. They have a stage, and when we were there, a Country singer was the entertainment. All and all a great place to hang out at.

What a great brewey to spend an afternoon! We've had Cape Cod Beer many times while we've been on the Cape, but this was our first time visiting the brewey. Before our trip, I knew I wanted to visit and try their beers on tap. When we arrived on a Saturday afternoon, there was an event going on with live music. We had to pay a fee to get in, but it was an awesome vibe with tables set up outside and live music playing! We ordered a couple different beers and some fried pickles. I don't know if they make the food in-house or if there was a food truck. It was hard to tell because of the event. Either way, it was so good! My favorite beer was their Blonde Ale, classic brew and PERFECT on a hot summer day. Cape Cod Beer is also dog friendly (inside & out) which was such a joy as I read some breweries on the Cape aren't.

Cape Cod Beer is a craft brewery that opened in Hyannis, Massachusetts in April 2004. It was founded by husband and wife Todd and Beth Marcus. Since 1998, Todd had worked as the head brewer at the old Hyport Brewing Company on Main Street in Hyannis. This brewery had been known by a variety of names, including Cape Cod Brewhouse and Hyannisport Brewing Company. In 2003, Todd was laid off from the struggling brewery. He asked the owner if he could brew beer on equipment not being used, and Cape Cod Beer was born. Todd's 'gypsy brewery' operation soon earned him a handful of accounts in the mid cape area. By 2005, Hyport Brewing suddenly went out of business overnight. Todd and Beth quickly purchased Hyport's brewing equipment. They opened Cape Cod Beer at its current location the following year, and soon began hiring their first employees. Today, Cape Cod Beer is the oldest still-operating brewery in Cape Cod. My wife and I have been visiting Cape Cod Beer since we first discovered them on a trip in 2013. During our first visit, their beer repertoire consisted of only five or six beers. Today they have approximately 100 different beers that rotate throughout the year. They have a really nice facility complete with a large tasting room and tons of merchandise. The brewery also offers tours on a regular basis. One of our favorite offerings of theirs is the 'Beach Blonde Ale'. The beer is a very drinkable golden ale that goes down real easy. It's the perfect beer to bring to the beach, and we have done just that several times. As Cape Cod Beer's slogan goes, there's "a vacation in every pint." We agree and we make sure to grab some whenever we're vacationing on the cape.

    Pretzel - $6. REALLY??!?!??!?

5 star beer. 1 star food. So averaging out to ~3 stars. I've been coming here once a year for the last 5-6 years - I've always loved what Cape Cod Beer represented and loved the fact that they offered some of the best priced tastings anywhere (currently not offered due to COVID). The beer is consistently great. Saison is one of my favorites anywhere and their new beers are super delicious - the fur missile and NE ipa in particular. Unfortunately, due to COVID, tables are REQUIRED to order food. Which is fine, I get it, it's the law. However, the food is a COMPLETE ripoff. Take a look at the pictures. One tiny pretzel stick for $6??? One small skewer of chicken for $8??? In what world is that remotely justified? Those two food items would be considered reasonably priced at maybe 1/2 of what they are currently priced at. It's such a pity because the beers are still pretty good. Get whatever the cheapest thing on the menu is to satisfy the requirement to order food and enjoy the great beers. Or find another place to enjoy great beers where they'll serve you food that isn't ridiculously priced.

I enjoyed my Porter - oops, excuse me, PORTAH - but I if were ordering a flight or at least a second pour, it would have been that coffee blonde ale, unique and distinctive. The brewery is also dog friendly with food trucks outside. Seating is at the bar, high tables, and an area with sofas in the corner. Over the past few years, there's been a growing number of breweries on the Cape. This is one you should consider.

My devoted "mug club" friends that used to meet weekly at Cape Cod Beer introduced me to this fantastic new spot in their rotation. Wow, am I impressed! I met the brewmaster / owner, Brian, friendly and he sure knows his stuff. The quality he is producing in this tiny location is exceptional. I started with the Norm Ale, like normal ...get it? I love the play on names they come up with like Buttah Beer. The Norm Ale is pale but not lacking color, it's so caramel creamy, biscuit smooth. Just delicious, no bitter bite to this beauty. And I really appreciate the lack of fizziness too, that's so unlike American beer. I followed that with the Riley Red. Think Killarney Irish red ale and that's what this delivers. An excellent example of a red with colored hues, it's tasting brighter, light malty, and rich. And because it's October I rounded off by tasting the Oaktober Fest. (Oak Bay October fest) my buddy Wayne loves this one, especially in his fancy German stein they so nicely agreed to fill for him. This seasonal ale is tasty modestly spiced medium malt season, not too hoppy, it's beautiful. The Brit/ Irish style that Brian is producing, less carbonated & fizzy, which I really liked about the ales. You don't go home with a bloated stomach. Lucky for us it is Oktoberfest and they were cooking up beer-soaked bratwurst with sauerkraut and German pretzel hot baked out of the toaster oven $11. A perfect accompaniment to the ales. I genuinely feel these are the best beers being made on Cape Cod, and beyond. Get over to Oak Bay Brewery and try for yourself what I'm convinced of! Cheers Note: Parking is best in the back of the building and come on to main street from alley beside Tumi restaurant.

The portions were very generous and we both left full with food to spare. We started with the onion rings, which came out as a big basket super crispy, well-seasoned, and not greasy at all. My hot lobster roll was loaded with tender lobster and perfectly buttery, and the sweet potato wedge fries were a great match. The clam chowder was thick, flavorful, and packed with clams, absolutely living up to their reputation. My son really enjoyed his fish and chips from the kids' menu -- crunchy on the outside, moist inside, and plenty of fries. Service was excellent from start to finish. The ambiance was casual and lively but not too loud, with a classic pub feel that still felt very family-friendly. The restaurant is quite large with a spacious dining area, so even when it was busy we didn't feel crowded. Overall, a great, family-friendly spot with delicious Cape Cod seafood and more than enough food for the price. We'll definitely be back if we're ever in town again.
