Wonderful environment with beautiful tables and flowers. We got lucky and were seated without a reservation but it seems most people make reservations. Menu rotates weekly. Food was good but quite pricey. Surf and turn was $72 for steak, three shrimp and two scallops. Other than that, no complaints.

This was really great. I was torn between a 4 and a 5 -- relative to the area, almost certainly a 5. We came with a group of four and got four small plates (two Caesar salads, French onion toast, and chickpea soup), four entrees (pasta a la norma, scallop curry, duck confit, and lamb kofte), and two desserts (pumpkin cake and soft serve). The menu changes all the time so I'm not sure I'd expect many of these exact dishes to still be around on our next visit, but we loved all the small plates, and while all of the large plates were very good too, my favorites were the lamb followed by the duck. Both desserts were excellent. The outdoor COVID-era atmosphere here is very cool too. We'll be back.

What an amazing hidden gem... truly!!! The food is EXCELLENT over 70% of their ingredients are local. The service is incredible. In a world where customer service has gone by the wayside this place really does it well. Everyone looks and speaks like they love their jobs and helps each other take care of the guests. The views and beauty of this place is just magical. Flowers, gardens, pigs, chickens, the cutest little pathway from the parking lot to the restaurant. Make a reservation if you can to ensure a table. Thank you! We will be back soon!

Front of the menu, their story, kids options. Not sure if this changes frequently or not like the other side.

We made a reservation for 6, and although we were running late they still managed to save our table. We parked and hiked through the tall grass and pass the chickens and flowers toward the gorgeous porch. The ambiance is instantly unbeatable and makes any gathering feel special. All the seating was outside either on the porch or on the beautiful grass under the tent. It got a little chilly so I walked back to the car to grab a sweater and stumbled upon some pigs. The food was amazing. I believe the menu changes frequently, but we ordered everything and it all was good. Drink wise, I'd recommend the spicy margarita, it was everything I wanted in a marg. New favorite spot!

We went to the restaurant during this COVID-19 pandemic. The outdoor seating area is spacious and beautiful. You can walk around the small farm and garden area while waiting for food. It was so lovely. The menu is quite creative, with an Asian fusion to certain dishes. Sometimes I worry when I see such a menu because it's very easy to mess up the sauce and taste not authentic or just bad. The chef did a good job here! We enjoyed everything we ordered, from the carrots to the scallops, and from the lamb to the dessert. So fresh and delicious. The flavor was amazing and the service was good. Also, I love that they support local farms as well and list out the ingredients clearly.

Taco night is fun! Mondays and Tuesdays at the moment. What a great spot for families to gather and kids to run around. Beautiful view. Tacos were good. Guacamole overpriced for the portion size. I look forward to trying it out on one of the regular menu nights. Soft-serve and bar were also available.

Birthday carrot cake, light and flavorful! Best dessert I've ever had.

There are few places you go to and remember the experience. A Cantina dinner experience is beyond memorable. Every dish that comes out of the kitchen is like a work of art, full of flavor, and like nothing you've ever had. I can't wait to go back, it's exciting because the menus always changes!

The soft pretzel, made fr spent brewer's grain was really good! The cheddar ale soup was a bit disappointing. It delivered on the ale, but the soup was thin and had a kind of gritty texture. Not the creamy texture you'd expect in a cheese soup. My wife got the brisket sandwich with fries. It was odd. Normally brisket is served sliced which accentuates the tenderness, but this was pulled, like pulled pork. The flavor was okay. I had the chicken pot pie which was okay. I wouldn't order it again. We didn't like the service at all. The staff wasn't really welcoming at all. When I went to the bar to pay for a four pack of brown ale, I waited probably five minutes before anyone paid attention to me. Two servers and the bartender all basically ignored me, and the bar wasn't busy. The bartender was engaged in small talk with other patrons. The highlights were the beer and the chocolate stout cake, which we took home. The beer is excellent. I had a brown ale and a stout. The chocolate stout cake with chocolate ganache is really good! In the end, the other reviews I saw were pretty accurate. Beer - great! Food - meh. Service - not good.

Pros: charming, rustic, lovely countryside location, food and restaurant looks good. (However we did not eat at the restaurant) it was pricey, probably as expected. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom is large, the toiletries are very nice, housekeeping is great. They come in daily and made the bed and changed the towels and replenished toiletries. There is plenty of parking, it is close to Great Barrington, Lenox, Lee, Stockbridge, and yet slightly out of the way into the country, which makes it a special getaway. There are no televisions. Some may consider that a con, I do not. The property and buildings are beautiful. The reconverted barn made into the lodging area was done tastefully, and in keeping with the rustic charm it retained. Some of the rooms have fireplaces, great for the winter I suppose, there is a slight smell of smoke in the room. I like that, some may not. Contactless check in and check out are fine. I don't see the need for this anymore, but it is not a negative. Our room was unlocked and all ready when we arrived. Small caveat; our door did not fully close and was unable to be locked , we did find someone at reception who changed our room immediately. They even offered us an upgrade for no charge, but we decided to stay on the first floor, so as not to haul our luggage upstairs. There is a large glass water dispenser refilled every day in the hallway, along with a Keurig coffee machine, which includes many different pods, including decaf, also a tea selection. There are two small refrigerators in the hallway. I took advantage and left a bottle of milk in there for my morning coffee. It was very quiet, we did not hear any other guests, just some footsteps in the hall sometimes. The air conditioning cranked, which was great because it was a very hot weekend. Cons: there is rarely anyone at reception to assist if you need it. They rarely answer their telephone if you have a question. They rarely answer their emails if you have a question or concern. I made our reservation on line, no problem. I did call and email requesting an additional night to be added. It took 24 hours for a response, but they were able to accommodate us. Would have been nicer to know a little sooner however. I then emailed to ask if an iron and ironing board could be left in our room when we arrived and I received no response. The iron and ironing board were not in our room when we arrived. I did find housekeeping and they were happy to help me I remember calling between five and seven times on the phone before our arrival between 3 PM and 7 PM and no one answered the phone anytime. They do have breakfast from 8 to 10 in the morning, which is too early for me. Maybe not for some. A bland selection of muffins, no other bread items or croissants or rolls. Some nice cut up fresh fruit. Coffee but no decaf. I did not partake and did not think it was anything special. All in all, my husband said he would not return nor would he recommend this B&B to anyone, however, it certainly suited our needs, we were comfortable. At the end of the day was it worth $1000 for three nights? Probably not .

To save a few dollars, we typically purchase widely-available staples/packaged goods at the Big Y next door, then head over to Guido's for specialty items only. In life, things change. People come and go. Times are different. Outlooks and perspectives are seen from new and unanticipated angles. But feelings always remain. I took my son to dinner last night prior to his departure back to college. The smiles, the warmth, the connection, the feeling of "home" exceeded my expectations after being nervous about being away so long. Were there new faces? Yes. Did I miss some of my friends who are either no longer there, off that night, or attending to other family business? Deeply. The menu is still the standard in the area for a nicer lunch or night out.
