When I came across Debra's Yelp page, I was instantly locked in by her set up and how cozy it looked and how she hosts small dogs and only a handful at a time. I believe the small crowd is what made Zoey so comfortable and feeling right at home. From our first interaction, everything was excellent! I loved how she had everything so detailed and even the option to "opt out" of anything she offers, like walks or treats. The day of Zoey's stay, drop-off was quick and no issues. I loved that she had a seatbelt and bed for Zoey to properly secure her in her car. I normally have issues when I leave her overnight at boarding places, but this was the first time in a long time I was at ease. My favorite thing was how Debra kept me up to date on her Instagram with pictures of Zoey living her best life! She was having so much fun playing with all the other little pups. I can't say enough lovely things about Debra and her hosting. Zoey was so happy her whole stay, which made us happy and able to enjoy our event. I love that this is a home based day care that has more than enough space for the pups to run. Kathryn, her brother, and her husband are EXCEPTIONAL. I first used them when I went to Thailand for 2 weeks and again when I went to Hawaii for a week. The pups had not been there in a year and KNEW where they were going and were ecstatic when we turned into their street. My golden has a lot of health issues and her medication regime has never an issue. My malamute mix has anxiety and can sometimes mount, and again never an issue. He's also not very trusting so the fact that he is happy is so reassuring. I LOVE that Kathryn will send me videos and pictures of my babies next to her human baby coexisting. It really is family owned. I rather make the 1-2hr drive and take them here than go anywhere else. I can go on vacation and have peace of mind that my babies are not just being taken cared of but also being loved on. Don't look further, bring your fur babies here!

Our Golden Retriever puppy, Maple, was out of control with biting, destroying everything from her blankets, her toys, our backyard landscape, and even the walls and base molding around the house. We tried to take her on walks but she would pull us around the neighborhood, and every little distraction scared her to death. We've owned four other Goldens in the past and never experienced this kind of wild behavior. Then came Ryan... he assured us that this behavior could be corrected with the right leadership, so we signed up for his two-week boot camp experience. The two weeks seemed like forever but when he brought her home she was our same familiar Maple but oh what a difference in her demeanor and behavior. Then Ryan followed up with us a week later and he reviewed with us all of our challenges that we were still experiencing. We quickly realized the problem wasn't Maple, it was us. Lots of little details like how to properly sync the electronic collar with the clicker, and keeping our finger on the clicker button so that we could engage it in a timely manner, etc. Once we got the hands-on training that we needed, Maple has transformed into a sweet, calm and well-behaved Golden Retriever. Thanks Ryan for your expertise and your expert training techniques. Ryan really understands how to train your dog in a positive manner so that you can reward their good behavior instead of reacting to the dog's misbehavior.
