George's Pet Sitting

We've been working with George's Pet Sitting Service for nearly ten years, and I can honestly say…read morehe is one of the most professional, reliable, and thoughtful pet sitters we've ever had. This isn't just a side job for him--it's clear from day one that this is a career and a calling. When I first met George, I was immediately impressed by how thorough, prepared, and knowledgeable he was about animals and their care. Over the years, we've gone on trips ranging from a quick weekend away to a month and a half overseas, and every single time we've come home to happy, calm, and completely unstressed pets. That alone says so much. Knowing George is caring for our pets and our home gives me true peace of mind--which is absolutely priceless when you're trying to relax and enjoy time away. What sets George apart is how many times he's gone above and beyond for us. In difficult situations--sometimes involving last-minute changes or unexpected emergencies--George has shown up, stepped in, and gone out of his way to help. I'll always be deeply grateful for that level of care and commitment. We love working with George. He's a trusted part of our lives now, and our pets adore him too. If you're looking for someone who is dependable, experienced, and genuinely caring, look no further. George is simply the best.

We know our dogs are in great hands with George. He is dependable and communicates with us well. We were nervous finding a pet sitter for the first time for our extra large breed dogs which can be quite intimidating, but when George came over to meet us and told us all his experience, said he was insured and told us he was completely comfortable watching our dogs, we were immediately at ease. George is extremely professional and truly cares about our dogs. We can't imagine having anyone else watch our Great Danes. I would recommend him to everyone looking for a pet sitter!

I was really struggling with whether we could keep my rescued young female Chocolate Lab long term…read more Maya had way too much energy and was really just wild! She couldn't get along very well with our other 2 dogs as she really just had no manners and didn't understand social cues. She had such a hard time settling down in the evenings and would bark for hours from her crate. We just didn't know what to do. I was at my wits end! Then I called Farren at Board N Behave. I really just wanted to board her while my husband was out of town but the more I spoke with her and came to understood her insight and experience with other dogs like Maya I decided to have the training sessions as well. It was the best decision for my dog I could have ever made!! No more destructive behavior, settled at night and gets along great with the other dogs. No more pulling on the leash either. The best part is that she is now a joy to be around, cuddling with us on the couch or relaxing on the porch. Dog training is not cheap, but it so necessary, especially when you have behavioral issues. Thank you Farren! You are absolutely amazing!!!

I was referred to Farren at Board N Behave by a friend, and I'm so glad I reached out! From our…read morefirst call, Farren was professional, knowledgeable, and truly listened to my concerns. My Chinese Crested, Hooper, had previous training but was still struggling with reactivity and socialization. I appreciated that Farren didn't push an expensive board and train--she assessed Hooper personally and offered private sessions that fit my budget. After just one session, I already saw progress. Over five sessions, both Hooper and I were trained--because we all know training the human is just as important! A month later, I adopted another dog, Bodie, and brought both pups to Farren's daycare to continue Hooper's socialization. We also did additional public training sessions, which were incredibly helpful. Hooper is now more confident and manageable! Farren has also been working directly with Bodie, helping him learn basic obedience and improve his behavior--especially with things like staying safely in the car instead of bolting into the street. His progress has been amazing. Farren is not just a great trainer, but also understands dog behavior on a deeper level. Her facility is clean, organized, and I fully trust leaving my dogs in her care. I highly recommend Board N Behave for training, daycare, and/or boarding!

I have attached screenshots of my July 2017 Facebook conversation with Linda from the business account. On the day we picked him up, I messaged her to let her know when we would arrive to pick up Snapdragon, and the account responded with Diamond Oaks Ranch's contact information. A few days later, she contacted me asking, "how is the pup," requested pictures of him, and described him as "a very sweet pup." I am disappointed that rather than acknowledging our experience, the response has been to deny that we purchased our dog from them at all. I am posting the contemporaneous messages so prospective buyers can see the documentation and draw their own conclusions.

ATTACHED: UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA DAVIS VETERINARY MEDICAL HOSPITAL - DIAGNOSTICS…read more DO NOT BUY A GERMAN SHEPHERD FROM Linda!! My six-year-old, Bryson, is the most handsome shepherd you'll ever meet. Unfortunately he struggles with numerous acutely painful serious hereditary defects diagnosed by UC Davis Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital. Estimate for three immediately required corrective surgeries, spine fusion, left stifle joint TPOL implant, and right hip replacement $41,000-$50,800. UC Davis perhaps the foremost veterinary school in the country found Bryson has degenerative changes of the hip, right worse than left, increased fluid in the left stifle joint, along with osteoarthritis. On CT scan there was also: Lumbosacral intervertebral disc disease with subluxation. Canine lumbosacral intervertebral disc disease involves degeneration and potential displacement of the intervertebral discs at the lumbosacral junction. This condition can lead to nerve compression, resulting in pain and mobility issues for the affected dog. Also Dorsal disc protrusion and narrowing of the intervertebral foramina and vertebral canal. Canine dorsal disc protrusion refers to a condition where the intervertebral disc bulges outwards, typically affecting the spinal cord and causing pain or neurological issues in dogs. This condition can lead to symptoms such as weakness, incoordination, or paralysis, depending on the severity. For the love Bryson has given me, I will provide what ever care UC Davis recommends to give my best friend the longest best life possible! Linda's insane response is just loony deranged slander. "He (Doug Bothwell) never offered one single bit of proof of any health issues with his dog," THEN READ UC DAVIS'S ASSESSMENT OF BRYSON'S HEALTH ISSUES. Breeding dogs with Bryson's type of critically painful defects in her puppy mill, is animal cruelty!
