Katelyn is very patient with my two small temperamental dogs. My older dog is a 16 year old grumpy old man and she is very careful with him. My 9 year old Aussie Terrier thinks he's Lion King and she lets him be himself. I would highly recommend Canine Couture and Katelyn!! My 11 month old cocker spaniel/golden retriever, Tucker, was super shy walking in and came out a whole new dog. I could tell they gave him so much love while he was there. He came out looking AMAZING. His groomer was Sam and they did everything I asked for. Everyone there was SO nice and so funny and made Tucker and I feel so welcome. Very reasonable prices compared to others. Tucker only had to be there for 2 hours which I LOVED as most places take awhile to get to the dogs and he ends up staying all day. They have strict Covid protocol call... my husband waiting in the car and they came to get our dog when it was time. We used Venmo to pay and leave tip. Second time this has happened. Had an appointment at 9:00 am. Had my dog there by 9:00 and was told they would call when he was ready. Figured I would get a call @3:00pm at the latest. No call. Knowing they closed at 5:00pm I drove there and arrived at 4:40. While getting out and setting up my ramp, owner/manager came out and said, "We had issues with our other location today and he will be ready in about a half hour."No call, no notice, no nothing. It takes about 2 1/2 hours to groom my dog which means they did not even begin until 2:00-2:30??? Why did he have to be there at 9:00? Evidently he was in a crate until they took care of there other "issues" i. e. smaller dogs, for over five hours??? The groomer herself is good. However the attitude we have gotten from the people that run this place is that they are doing us a favor by servicing our pet at their convenience. The service they have provided is sub par and overpriced. I would look elsewhere. read more

I try to be very fair when it comes to reviews but I would never recommend this place. I went to them when they were located in Kingsville and was highly disappointed. I took my sweet little female yorkie to them and paid extra for them to allow her to go potty since they had a good amount of clients. I should have paid attention to the sign of several dogs barking when I walked in that I should walk out but I was referred to them, so I stayed. Well fast forward to me having to call because I didn't receive a call that my dog was done. They said give them another hour, so I did and when that hour was up she still wasn't ready. The time wasn't the big issue the fact that when I came and picked her up and she was screaming (barking) was the issue. I have never seen her in such a panic. As soon as they brought her to the front she ran to the front door and was panting and crying. I let her out and she took a big poop right outside the door. When shE was done I noticed blood comin down her leg. Her little area by her butt was cut. WHY DIDNT I RECEIVE A PHONE CALL!!?? Accidents happen, and I would have been understanding if i received a call to notify me. When I addressed them they stated we can put super glue and no one noticed. We can't recommend this place. I would look elsewhere. Pay for teeth brushing and come to find out they charge you whether or not your dog lets them get it done--they compensate with a minty spray so maybe that's good enough for you. We took 3 of our babies to them and I'm sure I drove them nuts calling and my million and one questions plus my list of dos and donts for each....my dogs literally didn't even want to leave the salon. Then next time we took them they pulled me in the door and didn't look back as they went into the back with the girls. I was heartbroken yet happy....like a mom of a kid starting school and being excited to get on the bus. Had a very long journey moving from Delaware to Md. My dog was a mess. Came out of the salon looking great!

The grooming they did was fair. Dog needed a haircut within three weeks when normally he goes every 6 weeks. I called back numerous times to schedule my other dog, and despite leaving multiple messages I needed got a call back. Approximately 8 weeks later they called me asking if I wanted to schedule another grooming appt for the dog I brought in. Hmmmm, no thanks. They had some really really bad publicity prior to me scheduling the first appt. Thought I would look past it and give them a chance. Guess they don't really need the incoming business. read more

We found Canine Couture after trying to find another groomer that was suitable for our German Shepherd. The staff is very friendly and our canine loves Jamie! If you know shepherds, you know that they shed quite a bit. Jamie does a good job with brushing and our pup isn't as stressed out about going as she was at other groomers. It's a bit of a drive but our pup doesn't seem to mind. read more

The staff is very caring here and makes you feel comfortable. The lady that greets you is knowledgeable and answers all questions. They showed me the size of the cage that my dog was in when he was waiting. They know him by name and greet him when he walks in the door. I can tell they are patient with him and want him to feel comfortable. This was the 2nd groomer I tried, and noticed a big difference in the customer service. For years my groomer came to my house and then retired. This grooming salon was very highly recommended so I gave them a try. I have a Miniature Schnauzer and my first experience with Canine Couture was very positive. They did a great job on my dog. The groomer I worked with knew what a Schnauzer cut was and did a beautiful job. After that we found out we were moving to the eastern shore. Unfortunately coming up to Kingsville seemed far for grooming so I used a local groomer. It was a disaster. They shaved my dog completely. No more Schnauzer cut. No skirt or fluffy legs, it was so awful I think even my dog felt embarrassed. So after waiting 4 months for her to grow out I decided to make the trip to Kingsville to Canine Couture. I called got an appointment explained in detail about our bad experience and was assured they would once again make my dog look beautiful. On the day of our appointment the weather was horrific and we had to cancel. They were very understanding and said to call when I could get up to Kingsville and they would get her in. So yesterday was the day!!! They took my dog as the first appointment so I could get down the road when I needed to. When we arrived I again explained my situation and pretty much reiterated several times DO NOT shave my dog!! The girl said we have her down for a schnauzer cut and I agreed that was right and gave a few other specifics and was on my way,excited my dog would again have a great looking cut. When I picked her up I almost passed out. Once again my poor miniature schnauzer had been shaved down. I couldn't believe it. The young lady at the front had not listened to a single word I said. Unfortunately they had given me the bill before I saw my poor dog or I would have not paid at all. I also gave a very generous tip so before even seeing my dog I shelled out $75. I am just so upset that now I'll have to wait another four months and my dog looks horrible. My advice to anyone using this salon take pictures of what you want and speak directly to the person doing your dog. So very disappointed!!!! read more
