I moved to Ashburn a year ago and have been searching for a fantastic groomer. I finally found one! Canine Carousel is beautiful and clean. The staff is experienced and professional. Best of all my princess looks adorable! I would highly recommend them. *Just had my pups groomed yesterday they look so beautiful I decided to post a yelp review and look! I already have. The staff at Canine Carousel continues to do a fantastic job.

Elvis loves his groomer Miss Lil. She does a great job on my little boy. Canine carousel is very clean and organize. They send pictures of your little fur baby letting them know that they are ready to be picked up. I love the pictures

I dropped my dog Henry off here yesterday and was greeted by the groomer who was very kind. I believe his name was David, and he did THE most wonderful job/groom on my Cavapoo. I'm so happy!!! This place is amazing!!!

    Baxter loves Canine Carousel!

I know everyone has their own experiences when it comes to writing reviews, so this is mine for Canine Carousel. I can't thank them enough for the wonderful way we were greeted as a new client. I brought my brindle colored Shih-Tzu puppy Baxter in this past Saturday and they were so warm and kind to him and to us and that is rare these days. Anyway, they did an amazing job on Baxter and we couldn't be happier. We are looking forward to their services for both our Shih-Tzu's (Buddy & Baxter). They also have a nice, clean and lovely store.

    Look at that smile!!!!

I moved to the area from Los Angeles and am VERY picky about dog groomers. I hadn't been able to find one I liked yet so my Yoshi (an albino Shitzuh) had matted hair . I checked out Canine Carousel before taking Yoshi in, and saw how absolutely cute it was! Very clean and well-maintained! I made an appointment and I am BEYOND PLEASED with the haircut they have my little Yoshi!!! All his matted hair is gone and his cut is perfect! The owner, Lil is soooo sweet and amazing at her job! I have found my pet salon!!! Thanks so much!!!

Was very, very pleased with the haircut my Maltese received here. I was hesitant on trying a new facility, but am glad I did!

When i first started coming here, the owner was great at cutting my poodles' hair. Ever since she left, the new groomers have been not so great. HOWEVER, despite the inconsistency, they are willing to accommodate and learn to cut my poodles' hair the way I like it. I have tried going to other places in NOVA, 6 different groomers to be exact. Everywhere else is worse and they don't know how to cut a standard poodle's hair. I even went to the other Ashburn Belmont Chase Woof Gang location and they gave my dog an ear infection (very untrained groomers there)! I started coming here when my poodles were puppies and because of the owner back then, my dogs dont fear going to the groomers. I have started coming back here now with my nine year old poodles and I think I will not look for other groomers anymore.

This is hands down the worst grooming experience we've ever had at Belmont. We explicitly told the…read morestaff NOT to use clippers on our Samoyed, yet they completely ignored our instructions and shaved our dog down. For anyone who understands how damaging that is to a double-coated breed, you know how serious this is. To make things worse, they returned our dog not even properly dried and now she's developing hot spots as a result. When we tried to call and ask what happened, the owner, Felipe, took zero accountability, mocked us, and then hung up the phone. Absolutely unprofessional and unacceptable. This place clearly does not care about your pet's health or well-being. If you have a double-coated breed, or honestly any dog you care about, stay far away from this groomer. They are reckless, disrespectful, and completely incompetent.

He's been going there for daycare for some time now, and he's also been groomed and gone swimming there, all great experiences. To date, I'd definitely recommend them.

Three years ago I raved about Olde Towne Pet Resort to every dog owner I knew. Now I wouldn't board…read morea houseplant here. Great to horrible, entirely self-inflicted. Every booking, every pet, every time: more signatures and "agreements" than a mortgage closing. Somewhere there's a lawyer who's never met a dog and decided the real threat to this business is the guy who's paid them loyally for three years. You carefully fill out the entire grooming form online, pick every option -- then show up and they shove a paper copy across the counter to sign the exact same thing again. And after all that paperwork, they still claim they don't have the phone number they've had on file for three years and called me on before. Let's put this in perspective. I can order dinner to my door in two taps -- Reorder, Apple Pay, done. A stranger drives hot food across town on the strength of my thumbprint. But dropping off dogs these people have known for three years apparently requires a signing ceremony and a fresh liability waiver every single visit. In 2026, that's not caution. That's a business that's forgotten how to trust its own customers. And then there's the membership -- the crown jewel of contempt. They took a system that worked and actively torched it. Gone are the daycare credit packs: fair, flexible, buy-what-you-need, the way a business treats people it respects. In their place, a pricier monthly "membership" that auto-drafts your card whether your dog walks through the door or not, with no rollover for the days you paid for and never used. Read that again: you pay, they keep it, your dog gets nothing, and they call it a perk. It's not a membership -- it's a standing withdrawal from your bank account with a bow on it. It punishes the exact people who kept this place in business: the regulars whose lives don't run on a fixed weekly schedule. Some months my dogs come once, some months five times, because that's how actual life works -- and this program is built to make sure I lose either way. It doesn't serve pets. It doesn't serve owners. It serves a spreadsheet, and it treats every loyal customer as a recurring charge to be maximized rather than a person to be valued. It is, top to bottom, the most openly hostile "loyalty" scheme I've ever been asked to fund. When customers spend more time signing forms and fighting your billing than petting their dogs, you're not a pet resort -- you're a law firm with a kennel attached. Take your pets somewhere that still remembers what the word "customer" means.

There have been several changes implemented due to new ownership: 1) They no longer have cage free grooming and they put our dogs into kennels while they wait for us to pick them back up 2) Prices have gone up about 2-3 times due to the rise of inflation which is understandable but wanted to share to other dog owners for awareness 3) They use an assembly line process for grooming which is faster so our large dogs are typically in and out within ~2 hours Although our doodles typically came out well groomed for the most part, they both began to dread coming in and felt more anxious than usual, which wasn't a good sign to us. Additionally, the new front desk staff (male) could work on his customer service etiquette as he has came off as condescending multiple times to both myself and my husband regarding the care of our dogs. Our other friends who also brought their dogs here have shared similar sentiments. This is not their fault, but the location can be challenging to get to during traffic hours (they close at 4PM Monday through Saturday) since it's right on 50 and a lot of cars are going out west.

I have been going here for over 6 years - I found the post I originally made about this place…read more WELL. 5 stars no longer applies. I moved away to NY for 6 months and when I came back I went straight to the same groomers my Pup had been to since he was a puppy. I called to make my usual appointment and was asked To resubmit veterinary information again in a rude manner. Then when I arrived I was greeted by a new face at the desk. A man who said he was hired to do everything the right way unlike "before". Yet when I Asked if they were under new Ownership the man said, "NO" Here are my following reasons for their 1 Star- 1. New ownership Yet the man at front desk outright told Me ownership did not change. WHY LIE About the switch? 2. Price- increased and they even charged me. Handling fee bc they said my Dog was unmanageable, yet, the previous owners LOVED HIM. 3.customer service- new guy upfront-He was unprofessional and unpleasant. I shouldn't have left my dog especially because I felt Something was off with this man's energy. But I summed it up to maybe he was having an Off" Day. He was just rude and unkind, unlike previous owners. He would go on and on about how he was there from out of state bc his mom was unwell so I also felt bad for him, but I was also on a tight schedule. I just found this to be extremely unprofessional. Get this- I tried something new with my pup for the first time and had his tail Colored ( safely of course bc this is practically my Son). The man comments- he's not a fan of Color but to each their own. That owners who dye their dogs should do their research on how bad it is for their pets... uh really? I just ignored his unwarranted opinion but was quite upset by it. 4. going to trust myself and my pups initial reaction when picking him up. He use to love Going to the groomers and now he's terrified. 5. I paid extra for teeth cleaning which I could tell was not done and they did not trim his dewclaws which was previously always cut. At pick up, even though I was trying to get out of there as much as my dog was, the man proceeded to lecture me about taking care of my dog at home, so that he is not so matted, and that is why they had to shave him all the way at this point, I was so traumatized I just wanted to get the heck out of there, so I just paid and left as unhappy as my pup was. Oh and before I could finish paying the man asked if I was going to tip bc it is customary... really!?! I'm in the service industry I'm well aware... Never going Back - sad about the changes!
